  1. 2511F002-618 This is the part number for one listed on Amazon. Sorry cannot figure out how to copy the link.
  2. It is little silver snap disc with 2 wires going to it. It is about the size of a sewing thimble located somewhere close to the heater, sometimes all the way on top of the holding tanks. It works on a range of about 40-55 degrees. Best way to test it is to turn system heat switch on and spray it with computer keyboard cleaner or electrical contact cleaner to cool it down so it closes the loop.
  3. If it trips immediately start checking connections on that line. Maybe a wire came loose at a receptacle or a wire nut in a junction box. Good luck
  4. Try NAPA I have bought a 24 volt continuous at my local store before. Hopefully they will also have a 12 volt for you. Places that have fork lifts and scissor lifts may have one because all that equipment uses continuous duty solenoids.
  5. I like dealing with this place. Cannot comment on your diagnostics thou. AJ-Electric 5942 Georgia Rd Franklin Nc 28734 Phone: 828-369-0118 Sales@AJ-ELEC.com AJ.ELEC.SALES@gmai
  6. It is on drivers side between the wet bay and electrical bay. It takes a special kind of key to unlock it similar to the one below.
  7. I have a 2007 Diplomat 40SKQ. The tank an pump for the leveling jacks is located behind the Air Conditioner condenser between the air drier and the muffler. Just open the door where the condenser is and it is right in front of you.
  8. Please supply some more pictures so we can get a better look at the problem.
  9. For those of you needing your bay heater repaired below is the info for the company that took over the older bay heaters. I sent one there about 3-4 years ago. They replaced the heating elements. It came back looking like a new one and cost was $25.00. Family Safety Products 2879 Remico St SW Grandville, MI 49418 616-530-6540
  10. If you cannot reach the snap disc to check it, just get you another one and locate where it is accessible. Looks like your wires are terminated with a female spade so you should be able to pull the wires off.
  11. You are correct unless the switch bulb has burned out. You can put a jumper across the snap switch and if the fan blows then you will know if your switch bulb is good or not.
  12. I do not know if it is in files. I have it saved on my laptop. Check your messages because I tried to sen it to you that way also. If not send me your email and I will try that. It is a adobe pdf file.
  13. Attached is wiring schematic for bay heater. Spray the snap disk with a can of air for cleaning computer key boards because it is cold enough to close it. There is a place you can send the heater for repair but I cannot find the name of them. They are listed as a safety company. Sent one there about 4 years ago and it cost $25 and came back looking brand new. Bay Heater.pdf
  14. I am no expert but sounds like it may be what they call the air switch. Some times also called sail switch.
  15. Go to AC,Heating and Cooling forums and look at the forum listed below and you should find your answer. Houghton AC/Heatpump
  16. Thanks Gary. I have a good window just the latch is broke so not the end of the world. Kenneth
  17. That is the one I am looking for. Thanks for the info.
  18. Sorry first picture is upside down. Any help finding replacement latch appreciated.
  19. Looking for replacement window latch for small window next to entry door. 2007 diplomat 40skq. Cannot find make or P/N on window. Pictures below of window and latch. The tabs that extend to hold window up and lock in place are broke.
  20. You should be able to bypass the A/C compressor with a shorter belt until you are ready to fix It correctly. As for your blower it is probably the resistor on the condenser which is usually on the front firewall on the passenger side. Take your broke belt if still in one piece and route it bypassing A/C and get a length for new belt. Good luck!
  21. I had the same problem with my previous 2003 diplomat. I do not have a record of the new part number but watts changed it. Try calling watts at 978-689-6066. The size and fittings were the same so it was an easy change.
  22. It should have shutoff valves already installed that the hoses are connected to.
  23. Thanks for the good info. Now I know what I need to do.
  24. I have a 2007 diplomat 40skq. Currently it has 2 penguin ii with heat pumps. I know the Houghton has a remote control thermostat. I also have 2 Atwood furnaces and all operate off of a Dometic 5 button thermostat. I would like to change my front unit to a Houghton. Question is how would the front furnace operate? Will it still work of existing thermostat or would some kind of retrofit be required? Thanks in advance. Kenneth
