  1. My previous Monaco diplomat did that all the time. I would just push the brake pedal an release it then it was gone until the next shutdown. Hope this cheap fix works for you. If not it will need to be hooked to a computer to read the ABS code.
  2. I am on my second Monaco and the heat is marginal at best on both of them. It is not designed to heat that large of an area. I got a couple of small electric heaters and place them so they blow on my feet mainly while driving.
  3. It has nothing to do with heat or the blower so you can leave belt off.
  4. That is your A/C compressor. See if you can tie wrap the belt secure so it is clear of pulleys until you can get a bolt. That is your tension adjustment for the belt.
  5. Either way is good and I have done both. I did the Amish 120v conversion and after refitting it the second time it worked good. Downfall to it is you still have an old fridge with failing door seals that or not replaceable. With the Samsung you have all new, in warranty and much more capacity. We like the Samsung way better.
  6. It could be one or more of several items causing this. 1. Turn jake brake off when idling and maneuvering for parking. 2. Low fluid level 3. Tranny radiator not circulating coolant fluid properly. Try the first 2 items first because they are the cheapest fix before pulling tranny cooler.
  7. Bootleggers looks really nice. When or if mine gets bad that is what I am planning to do. I am not sold on the solid black. Is it any harder to clean the bugs off versus just paint?
  8. Please post name and location of this place so they can be avoided.
  9. I have 4 Trimark 060-0475 for sale or trade. These do not have the plungers. They are keyed to 2001. 200.00 for all 4 plus shipping or trade for ones with plunger. They are black and do not appear to have been used. Thanks, Kenneth
  10. Thanks . Good info. I found the fuse blowed in the rear panel yesterday for the trailer charging. Never found the wire for the electric brake controller under the dash or side panel. I gave up and just ordered a Curt Echo RF wireless brake controller.
  11. Beware of Pop’s. I had a not so good experience with them.
  12. Does anyone know where the 12 volt power source for the center connector on the trailer plug starts and where the fuse is located? Thanks
  13. .You can just weld it in place. Disconnect all batteries and place welder ground close to where it needs repaired. Open fuel cap and run a car exhaust to it running with a semi enclosed hose. After about 30 minutes it should be pretty warm and you can weld on it. Talk to a few welding shops in your area and I am sure you can find one that knows how to do it this way. If you are scared to have it welded on. Another solution is to use an epoxy steel product by JB Weld where you clean the area and just press it in place even with a leaking area.
  14. Thanks. I found a molex in that position but it has 6 wires in it. I will have to check it out again. Hopefully it will tone out. If not I have about decided to try the Curt RF wireless system. I found 2 other molex connectors under the dash but do not tone out to the blue wire on the rear plug.
  15. Need wiring schematic for the trailer brake wiring system. I know which wires go to which pins at the bumper. I need schematic that shows relays, diodes to the fuse and into the inside under the dash etc... I am trying to find #2 (blue) wire somewhere at the front so I don't have to run new wire to the rear. It must have a relay or diode because I cannot get it to tone out with wire tracer. 2007 Diplomat 40SKQ or other Diplomats about the same year would probably be the same or similar. Thanks, Kenneth
  16. Napa crossover Part #: NBH 25080839HD. Gates #K080839HD You can go to any reliable parts store and they can cross reference it. It is available in an OEM on ebay an amazon also.
  17. Richard, Do you know how many wires in the harness, what gauge and if in a molex connector? It looks like a 20 year rats nest under the dash. 🥵 Kenneth
  18. I am looking for the blue wire for the electric brake controller (#7 pin) from the rear socket to where it is usually ran to under the dash or where ever. The wire must have a relay or something on it because wire tracer will not work on it. The motorhome is 2007 Moaco Diplomat 40SKQ. Thanks, Kenneth

  20. Ken, I think if you drop your exhaust system from after the turbo you probably can get to it with out removing radiator. At least I can on my 400ISL. It should only be 3 clamps and it should drop all in one piece.
  21. Laramie has on O'Reilly auto parts that should be open. 307-721-3030. Laramie FBO #307-742-4165 they show courtesy cars, maybe they would rent or let you use one. Kenneth
  22. Ken, You should sign up on Cummins Quick Serve, it is free. You will need your engine serial number when you register. From it you can get part numbers and schematics etc... Good luck. Kenneth
  23. Glad it worked. It fixes lots of problems on airplanes.
  24. Try removing all power from your unit for about 10 minutes.
