  1. We started in Morgan Hill, CA and arrived in Bath New Hampshire yesterday and there was no shortage anywhere. But man, oh man, it was expensive!
  2. 2004 Signature, Bose AV 28. Anyone know where the speaker control module is?
  3. More on 6Wheel's thoughts. Are the clamps plastic or metal?
  4. I never once had a problem with the Intellitec BIRD or the Big Boy. But by golly I knew someday I would!🙃
  5. It won't automatically boost. Turn it off going down the road and to auto when plugged in. Rick Nelson, am I missing something?
  6. I have the ML ACR and can talk you through it. With the ACR you can turn it off from your seat so you can have the benefit of your alternator. No idea why the picture is sideways.
  7. If you only want to remove the BIRD's (PB6 board) ability to combine the batteries and retain the Big Boys ability to combine for boost only, no problem. Terminate both control wires to the Big Boy. Run unswitched 12VDC + to one side of the Big Boy. Cut the wire, in 2004 it was org, in p4 of J1 on PB6 and go to the other terminal on the Big Boy. PB6 is mid level on the right side and has 2 yellow buttons and 2 fuses. The board will retain all other functions. 15 minute solution to your problem. Rear Run Box.pdf
  8. It's not the contacts on the door, it still unlocks everything. Mine will lock and unlock the basement with the door open. Check the wiring around your alarm.
  9. There are 2 types of auto slack adjusters and by 2000 you had them. The Bendix type has the rod you mention. The Wabco type does not. If you don't have a spring collar holding a 9/16 hex head you have automatics. If you do, someone changed them out. To the OP, automatics have to be backed off then manually adjusted when installing new brakes.
  10. I believe you should leave it as is. The specific model, chassis and engine boards other places do not get any traffic.
  11. Richard, Looks expensive and I can't find the parts they are speaking of in 2014. Bill, I think you will be happy. There are many GPS based features so be sure and get a tablet with GPS or a cellular iPad. I've had it a little over a year and there have been some growing pains but it works really well right now. Read at least the first 20 pages of the manual before you do anything. If going with Android my self and many others will recommend the Lenovo M10. The dongle does not play well with everything and the M10 is trouble free. There is a large community on irv2 and on the BlueFire forum.
  12. How are you running VMSpc on an iPad and what was the cost?
  13. It looks as though an 03 Exec is close to an 04 Sig. The 1x3 trim board above the oven is held on with cupboard door or drawer latches and pops off. It' visible below. Once off you will see how it is mounted. I took a lot of the dead oven apart to figure that out. Once the top bracket is unscrewed from the coach bracket it rolls down then lift off. It does top mount like the Dr said. Remove the bracket from the old and put on the new. If you have the European rockers, the ottoman and a couch pillow are the perfect height!
  14. Rik, in the west the FMCA T Mobile works great for tv. We have Amazon, Hulu and Netflix and have no problem with any of it. The only problem with the plan is it is LTE. When we signed up we were promised 5G in the future. Well the future came and we got 5G from FMCA for 10 gig and then it throttled. After going back and forth with tech at FMCA it came out that T Mobile was not going to honor the plan they had with Sprint. We are now back on 4G with a different hotspot but it does work well at around 25 mb down.
  15. In that situation I would use a marine diaphragm waste pump with marine hose and forget about it. Cost will be about the same
  16. Is anyone using something portable, fulltime portable, to block the frame?
  17. TDS does not contract with Flying J anymore. There is no discount.
  18. I don't believe there is a better AGM battery made than Discover. They are worth the price.
  19. Click on what they are selling for $158. It is a bag of 10.
  20. Installed 2004 all electric Signature. All electric had 5 8D with room for 7 and 2 4D start batteries. 270amp alternator
  21. If you are wiring as the drawing shows with 100% of all AC sources passing through the inverter to the original panel there is no need for a sub panel. There is also no need to separate outlets and microwave from the original panel. You also need to run AWG 6 from the transfer switch all the way through.
  22. 2008 isn't old! Do they have like thermostats? If yes they will work.
