  4. JdCrow Will get that to you when I get home this afternoon. Not that it will do you much good. Lol. Tech support won't even talk to me because of the age. Parts ? Gotten some information, but 1/2 of it was wrong. They don't consider it as one of there's since they bought the bankrupt company.
  5. I am almost done with the rerivting project to attach attach the roof back to the side. I am now looking for the rubber screw cover that covers the channel. Looking for the part # and were I can order the material. Any recommendations for what sealant to use? Thanks
  6. Another sympathiser here. At Times I get very frustrated, seems like problems crop up faster than I can fix them. When I finally decide to swallow the pill and pay for someone to do the repair. I find that there charging $120 to $150 per hour + materials I get sick. Not even mentioning the fact, When doing research they would have used the wrong fasteners. Monaco will not give any technical support for the older coaches. I will soon be posting a video on my beltline repair were all the rivets have failed. (Roof separation from side wall) Here's my mantra. Sometimes life is a bitch, sometimes tomorrow is just another day. Right now life is a bitch. Right now I'm on track for earning $500 a week for my efforts because I'm not paying someone else plus getting the job done right. I also have the privilege of helping other people out in the process.
  7. Don't have much to say, but always & I mean always carry an extra filter with you. You get some bad fuel and it will sideline you In a heartbeat.
  8. I used RV cooling units. Spent the money for the more expensive unit about 5 years ago. Glad I did works great. Not a hard job putting it in. Just a little time consuming. https://rvcoolingunit.com/-Norcold-1200-Cooling-Unit-PKG-w2-AC-elements-2-Fans-wfan-switch-pkg-built-by-the-Amish-P2434108.aspx Built a dolly to slide the fridge out on to. A little help from my wife to slide the unit out and reinstall it. Just take your time with it. Customer service was assume.
  9. No, but I can help if you decide to switch to a jeep wrangler TJ or JK.
  10. Howard Thanks for mentioning that, yes I have read that but I did not put 2 + 2 together. I was thinking stainless steel screws. Would that have the same affect as just plain steel screws? Will be calling Talin on Monday to see what I can learn. Yes I have an aluminum roof. Thanks for the input.
  11. Thanks for the reply. It's coming apart right behind the big slide awning & right in front of the back slide awning. Yes aluminum rivets. I can't believe that there's no prints on how the side & roof framing is made.
  12. Will give them a call. Thank you. I forgot to mention that we are in the Phoenix Arizona area.
  13. 2001 Monaco Diplomat. Rivets are failing where the roof meets the sidewall. Looking for suggestions on how to fix the problems. I don't know the length of the rivets that were used. Tried 1 1/2 in long self-tapping screws which don't seem to tap into the frame. Called Monaco, no help there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
