  1. Hitching Post of Ocala is an Aqua-Hot service center only. They do not do exhaust pipes or removal and installation of old/new Aqua-Hot units. I use them for Aqua-Hot service every year. When I needed an entire new exhaust pipe on my Windsor, I took it to a Auto Repair shop in Bunnell FL where they fabricated a new exhaust pipe, installed new clamps and secured the fiberglass insulation to the new pipe.

  3. Tom Cherry is the Camelot goto person. He is an owner of a Camelot plus a moderator here
  4. Rome Truck Parts had all of the parts I needed for my wipers on the Dynasty. http://www.rometruckparts.com/
  5. Northwest RV Supply has some last time I asked. They didn't have my color and size. You have to call them.

  7. How much heat do you need to melt the solder? I would think the heat-shrink tubing would react first before the solder melts. Is there a link to the product?
  8. $240 for that sensor is a MAJOR ripoff! Is that the sensor from the Surge Tank or from some location on the engine? I don't see any wires on that sensor, why? Did the wires snap off? Take it to NAPA auto. I would bet they could match it up with one that they have in stock.
  9. My notes from a past Monacoers Gathering is that the torque for the Tyron bolts is 10-12 FT/LBs. The bands that are now in my 2006 Dynasty are yellow and the wheels are 22.5 inch Coated Accuride. Josam's installed the bands last year when I had new TOYO steer tires installed.
  10. Here is a better photo of what Todd was speaking of in his post above. This shows the two Solar fuses at the top left and right of the photo which control power going from the solar panel to the chassis and house battery banks.
  11. I would also like to know from anyone who has Tyron Bands on their 2006 Monaco Dynasty Accuride Wheels what color spacers were used when they installed the bands.
  12. I think the Ugly Shield sells their Ugly Juice. Not cheap! https://uglyshieldremoval.com/
  13. Our induction cook-top is installed basically the same except that the wire from the cook-top is plugged into the outlet on the back wall of the cabinet. Plus it has a 120 VAC on/off switch wired in series that is mounted on the outside of the area just under the countertop.
  14. This thread is very confusing. It is difficult to determine what happen when and exactly what the symptoms were. First, I would replace the chassis disconnect switch with the same exact type that it came with from the factory, an ON/OFF switch versus a Battery 1 - Battery 2 switch before troubleshooting up or down stream possibilities. The ONLY part that you replaced was this disconnect switch and it was THEN when you had the back-feed problems. You still may have multiple problems but it is best to work one one at a time. Just my opinion.
  15. I believe the shield installed on Monaco coaches has been the Diamond Shield, HOWEVER, the Window Sticker & Data Card probably states that it is the 3M shield. Dave Pratt knows the history. I hired Dazzling Detail to remove mine on the Windsor. They repainted and touched up areas that were damaged after removal.
  16. I have a spare reconditioned Webasto burner that came out of a 2002 HR Imperial. I had it reconditioned by John Carrillo in Colorado. I would not sell it for a few hundred dollars, maybe a couple of thousand. New, they are between 3-4 thousand dollars.
  17. Fuel lines should not be coming in contact with stationary objects that can wear a hole into the fuel line from vibration of the engine. That means they did not allow enough hose going from point A to point B. To prevent any fuel line from abrasion I would isolate it by stuffing a rubber foam insulation pad between the stationary object and the fuel line. Not sure about longevity of fuel lines. I guess it depends on what they are made of.
  18. Paul, thanks for the suggestion! It hasn't gotten to the point where I need to do it right away. How difficult was it to remove the old one and solder in a new one? Are there special tools that are needed to accomplish the task?
  19. Our Dynasty Countess III has a large clear skylight. Lots of light but also lots of heat. Someday, I will have the company that tinted some of our house windows do the same on our skylight. The tint on our house windows has reduced the amount of heat significantly on the west side.
  20. Coach-Net since May 2010.
  21. My only dash Aladdin Joy Stick is temperamental. Sometimes I have to push it multiple times to get it to respond at times, then other times it responds immediately. Plus it works better when scrolling in one direction than the other. I use it to set up the monitor for viewing the rear camera while driving. I seldom use it for anything else. It's just a minor inconvenience right now but if it fails to respond at all I would be lost not having the rear view camera active while driving.
  22. I tried it just one time for a few seconds and did NOT like the sound that the microwave was making either. From that point on we have never run any high wattage device using the inverter. We always fire up the generator when needed. What you remove from the battery bank while using the microwave which is generally a significant amount will need to be put back either using the generator or shore power so what's the point? That's also why there have been members who have had to either repair or replace the microwave or a house battery bank after running it on an inverter way too many times.
  23. If they can't be routed through the channels in the center of the chassis then your only option is to route them under the coach. I would think there would be room left in one of those channels to route new hoses.
  24. I have two one foot sections of PT 4x4 which I place between the rails and the frame body after it has been raised up on the air bags. I release the air from the bags which secures the 4x4 in place. That allows me to easily crawl under the coach and work on various locations.
