  1. @GringoScot I hope you saved the wooden door inserts from the NotSoCold for any needs in the future. @jacwjames That image is actually a set of fans that I had built back in 2010 for my 02 Windsor to place in the top of the rooftop exhaust vent to get more airflow in back of the NotSoCold. No Joy, so I had a Samsung RF-197 installed in April 2012, That fridge is still going strong for the new owners of my Windsor. He did have to install a new sensor in the upper fridge compartment a year or two later as the fridge area was not defrosting correctly.
  2. Not always true! My previous Windsor, yes, the Black was 40, the Grey was 60 and the Fresh was 90. However, my 06 Dynasty has 56 gallons each for Black and Grey and the fresh is 100 gallons.
  3. @PTTech Scroll to about halfway down this page then you will notice that they have 4 "extended locations" marked with stars but have over 3000 service locations. https://tinyurl.com/yc3ze7d7 Not sure of the quality of those 3000+ locations because I have read many horror stories with improper windshield installations. I am fortunate to be located within a 2.5 hour drive to one of their premier locations in Lakeland Florida.
  4. Or if the Inverter is on and running without being connected to shore power they will also work if they are 120 VAC Lamps. However, it is my belief that in most cases, Monaco made those 12 VDC Lamps. Is it possible the Lamps have failed?
  5. I don't quite understand the statement above, "has been sitting about 3 to 4 months and not camped in in a couple years." What has it been doing between a couple of years ago when it was last camped in and 3-4 months ago? I would rely more on the Tiffin group for advice as they are the experts versus Monaco owners.
  6. Most places are likely OK with RV Glass and two piece windshields. However, with single glass and single curved glass type windshields there are only a few companies that know how to install those special windshields and what to do to prevent exactly what happened to you. Luckily, I am not that far away from one of the country's premier RV windshield shops, RV Glass Solutions in conjunction with Coach Glass. That is the only place I would have a single one-piece curved windshield installed. Hopefully, they will be able to correct your problem so that it doesn't happen again.
  7. What RV Window Company did you use for replacing the windshield?
  8. Just a follow-up on my post, my new policy becomes effective on Friday, March 1st. Total cost is $899. I had to call Progressive today to cancel my existing policy effective March 1st. We'll, the person on the other end of the phone attempted to persuade me to stay with Progressive allowing her to look for ways to reduce the premium from $2900 to something lower and more affordable. I was adamant that I am done with Progressive because of the way they treat their long term customers by gouging them even when they have never filed any claims, had any accidents or traffic tickets, etc. ever. I am so tired of dealing with these scumbags who all they want to do is rape you over the coals because you are such a good driver and never make any claims. When they should be going after the people who have multiple accidents, collect many traffic tickets, and submit many claims, etc. So as a parting gift, I filed a claim with them to have a new windshield installed next week by RV Glass Solutions in Lakeland FL. End of rant!
  9. Yes, that's the Block Heater. It should be close to the duplex it would have been plugged into if you didn't have the Aqua-Hot. The cord should have been zip-tied and secured in a safe place.
  10. @Mike H No, because I didn't ask for one.
  11. @Mike H They charged me $1200 for the removal and repaint/touch-up of the front cap. I did not have them reinstall anything as I had decided to sell the coach by then and figured I would leave it up to the new owner as to what they might want to do for any protection. If I had kept the coach, I was going to have a shop in Texas do a color-coded "truck liner" type of material applied to the front cap.
  12. I had replaced so many of those cheap plastic latches in my previous Windsor that I finally gave up. I went to Amazon or Target and purchased two brass colored spring loaded adjustable closet/shower rods. I place those into the lower track and those doors will not move a cm now. Easy peasy!
  13. I have used both the RVIBrake-2 and now the RVIBrake-3. I prefer the upgraded 3 version. You won't be disappointed.
  14. There is one on iRV2.com RVIBrake-3 https://www.irv2.com/rvclassifieds/showproduct.php?product=22382&title=rvi-brake-3-flat-tow-braking-system-for-toad&cat=23
  15. Never been presented with that problem of not being able to dump tanks. We have traveled through 48 of the 50 states, missing Idaho & Hawaii. That's the beauty of owning these awesome coaches. We get to use and manage them to fit our lifestyle. Pota-Potties are not high on my list of useful items unless I have an emergency or there is also the woods.
  16. Snowflakes for sure! My dryer vent is flat with a slot vent opening near the bottom plus it is painted to match the coach.
  17. Paul, your suggestion is great for those that have two toilets. However, Steve's Ambassador has only one toilet. No choice.
  18. What a crappy situation to be in having to rely solely on a macerator toilet. I am not a fan of anything Thetford makes. I threw out their Aria II toilet long ago. Why would you spend that much money on another Tecma toilet? The Dometic MasterFlush would be my choice but that's like you say, $1500 or more. Have you tried all of the RV supply dealers for parts?
  19. I prefer using Cap sensors due to size and mass differences. Isn't much difference having to remove the cap on the end of a Flow-Through sensor versus the Cap sensor itself to adjust air.
