  1. Yes I do believe it is a Villa seat. Unfortunately, my Coach is up north so I can’t use it as a comparison. When I’m back at the coach I’m going to see if the wire has voltage when activating the switch as that would confirm that it needs to go to the heater. Should have done that yesterday 🫤
  2. I’ve been helping a friend get some things straightened out on a new to him 2006 Patriot Thunder. One of the items is getting all of the functions working again on his seats. I have everything working on the first chair except the seat heater and I was hoping to find a wiring diagram. There is a yellow wire coming from the heater switch on the seat that I cannot find a home for. Thinking that it may have been connected to the heater itself? Any help is very much appreciated.
  3. I would enlarge the access under it. Looks like you have a lot of room to make it bigger while remaining inside the screw holes
  4. That muffler is not the original. I have the same coach and the muffler is oval with offset inlet and outlet. Had to fabricate a complete setup for mine two years ago from the turbo back.
  5. What are the symptoms that are making you think it needs replacing? They are a standard part that can be purchased at a local truck shop like Frieghtliner
  6. I would think you would be ok if you used a large fender washer or better yet add a plate underneath in that area. More important would be how the chair is mounted. In a bad accident it would more likely be a possibility of the chair becoming detached if not securely fastened
  7. I would think that it would be better to rotate your old steer tires to the same side on the rear so that they stay as pairs. This would keep similar sized tires due to wear to be matched on a side instead of putting one on each side and potentially had slightly mismatched diameters. Curious to what others may think
  8. I was anticipating the ugly smell on my Toyos but mine just smelled of a strong new tire smell and it dissipated in a couple months
  9. Go to the bays underneath to assure all wires etc. are out of the way. If there’s a bunch to avoid it would be safest to drill up from underneath
  10. Always enjoy your detailed posts Mike. Thanks again for sharing. I put Toyos on last year and am very happy with them. The only difference that I noticed compared to the Michelin’s is that the Toyos are slightly noisier. Not at a leave that they are irritating and after a couple trips I didn’t even notice it, just slightly different. Ride and handling are the same to me. So happy Spring is close and we will be getting out there again before long
  11. Hmm. Boeshield is a protectant. I use it for things at the shore to protect from corrosion. I would thing a degreaser would be much more productive
  12. I dot see any reason why you can’t do what you would like by using an amber bulb.
  13. Considering how much oil and grime that you have on the unit and how low the oil was it seems like you have a leak. I would clean it real good and then have someone actuate each slide one at a time in each direction while you observe the unit. The only way the unit should be low on fluid is due to a leak somewhere.

  15. Stay with the packed bearings. Have them repacked when it’s convenient and forget about them
  16. I know that my 06 Exec has the same size black and grey. Sure wish that my grey was 20 gallons larger and the black 29 gallons less.
  17. What have you done to determine that they are bad? It would be highly unlikely that both are bad
  18. Does the bill come directly from the supplier? My guess is that the owner has an account with them and bumps the price to the end user
  19. If you have a block heater and the outlet close to it in the engine bay then you have a switch somewhere inside to turn it on. Mine is on the dash clearly marked
  20. I definitely would not put any type of stop leak in my differential, or anything else for that matter. As Jet mentioned, it is not a difficult job and if you decide it’s a little much for you to consider it should be crazy money to replace it. Guessing a competent garage would charge around 2 hours time plus parts. Might be the right time to change the gear lube also.
  21. Most yoke seals can be removed pretty easily by using a slide hammer with a small hook on the end. Once the yoke is removed you place the hook behind the seal and use the slide to pull it out. Work your way around the seal when doing this
  22. The seals for the hatch can stick pretty strong. Once the locks are open pry on the hatch a bit. It will pop open
