  1. Hey if you happen to be by your rig can you send a pic?I have looked high and low in the front end and nothing. I do have a port in the LP tank are but nothing up front
  2. Thanks for the fast reply. Do you have the fill In front next to the generator or by the Lp tank?
  3. Anyone ever fill the air tanks through the auxiliary fill connect. I know it doesn't go through air dryer but I want to air it up to look for leaks and would be way easier without running the coach at idle for an hour.
  4. Oh boy!? I just bought this for my coach! Any thoughts advice for the install? Planning on doing it in a couple weeks.
  5. Agreed feather your break and see if it releases all the way
  6. Your the man IVAN!! thats it. it was called a mlacr.. thanks!! also did you switch yours out? seems like it would be a huge gain if i ever need to swap alternators.
  7. Good morning everyone! I need some help finding a thread on here. I thought I had previously saved the installation process in my bookmarks but guess not. can someone point me in the right direction of the thread on how to change out the old bird charging system that combines the house and Coach batteries to the newer one. I forgot the name of the system maybe ml acr.. .. just drawing a blank but i would like to udgrade the system and someone had a amazing write up on how to do it. any thoughts would be great!
  8. curious if your unloader valve in your compressor is leaking, forcing your discharge line to stay open on your dryer. would be a steady leak. but not noticeably loud.
  9. Bummer. Figured as much though. Maybe rebuild it. Kits usually come with a new filter and are super easy. Downside is if you have it off why not just replace it lol. Don't go cheap though buy from a reputable company. The air dryer I bought was not and was defective. Returning it after install was difficult..
  10. Super curious to see what happens when you bypass dryer. Did you ever pop off the governor cut-off line from the dryer to the governor? That's where mine leaked. You could hear it as soon as you disconnected the line.
  11. Check the purge line at the air dryer. Mine was continuously leaking air out of it causing a leak. Will only happen after your dryer discharges. Woukd make sense that after the dryer fires your loosing air. The turbo saver valve in your dryer may not be sealing properly. Air up check line at dryer after it discharges. Should be a push fitting pop the line of and see if it's leaking. Also if it's not sealing you would be able to build past 40psi
  12. I think you're actually correct.. Especially in the year but I feel like that may pertain more to commercial motor vehicles whereas Recreational vehicles probably got a good discount on the older versions.. My signature Has disk brakes on the steer Drum brakes on the Drive and tag axle all 4 slack Adjusters Are older models that do not have the adjustment arm/spline
  13. Woa seems like your going to be into it for a lot. Dont know why putting the old ones back on would ever be an option. Slack adjusters are self adjusting after a certain year. My 2000 does not have self adjusting slacks. Occasionally the roll pin will fall put of the self adjuster and then once they back out they that's it. Pretty rare but can happen. Only thing I can say is don't settle. If the brakes are hot that means there stuck or rusted to it. A simple tap with a hammer would fix that. Really have me questioning thus shop to put a decade old drums back on the truck. Not that you can but they had em off already Let us know the results Ryan
  14. Sounds like the left brake may not be applying or is out of adjustment. Do you have disc brakes or drums up front. Truck usually pulls to the side that is working. If it tracks normal without brakes applied then it probably is a left front brake issue. What kind of shop? Truck shop? They would know if the slacks are out of adjustment or not.
  15. Everything I was thinking...was just wondering about the inverter. Figured I would have to charge them up individually.... considering this resolved.. unless charging them doesn't fix it. Thanks for your input help response!!
  16. Thats the plan this weekend, I do have to disconnect the house bank and charge them 1 by 1 correct Because they are wired and series..
  17. No I think your spot on. I really mean everything went dead 110 and 12v. Except on the ignition side. Started head lamps etc. Didn't have a voltmeter on me but that was my next step. And to be clear the Batteries would have to be disconnected and brought back 1 by 1 correct? Thanks for the input Rya
  18. OK so I may have left my house battery bank On for the past 2 months while the coach was in storage. I have AGM batteries which I'm pretty sure We're completely dead. ( Only talking about house battery bank Chassis battery bank is perfectly fine as I have a battery tender on them all the time). Started the coach up And went for a drive warming up the generator and engine for about an hour. After I turned the Generator and engine off everything Inside went dead after about 3 minutes. Puzzled .. i started the coach back up and everything came back online after about 2 minutes. After shutting it off everything Turn off after a minute or so. My question is... is this a sign of a bad inverter or just the house batteries could not be brought backup to charge and were dead.
  19. Call Mayer truck repair, just south of Milwaukee In racine. They can help. Not a fan of Milwaukees truck country. There are some hose shops that can make 1 uo for you In racine as well. Ryan
  20. Has no one pointed out the artwork on the graph paper! Like I know this doesn't aid to your fix and I apologize but he took the time to draw it out on graph paper!!! High five bud!
  21. Woa. I agree evo. Cool to see a follow up post with resolve.
  22. Drums or rotors? If it's a brake drum the shoes may be rusted give em a tap with a hammer on the inside. They may pop right up.
