  1. Just a big thanks I’ve found a few great places on here already Veurinks RV Center Order Door stop Grab handle Surge Tank Talian plates ordering Monaco Watts in the mail Also great knowledge
  2. Yea we are talking CAPS If your HPCR is similar to other Cummins systems, then you could research for its weak points. Many in the pickup world use the FASS/Air Dog to have a constant, clean flow of fuel to their main pumps. Also Van mentioned fuel polishing. It seems to be a positive thing for coach’s that have diesel that sits, as algae can become an issue. It will keep your fuel clean constantly. His experience listed above helped him. He could elaborate on the benefits. At any rate, research it and see if it’s something you need. Us with CAPS can have a ticking bomb.
  3. Found it! Not sure you have updates clicked to get an email about this. Not cheap, but will be ordering. These fit our coaches https://www.vantageoptics.com/shop/Ford-Econoline-Complete-Headlight-Kits-c25728076
  4. E series Ford Van Front. Not much to choose from. Rears are obviously 2 units stacked. I’m in the process of seeing If E series or Ford Excursion taillights will measure to fit.
  5. Looks very familiar. LOL I couldn’t find 5/8 marine plywood. Heck 5/8 plywood isn’t around anymore hardly. Some metric 32 or 64 can’t remember
  6. Ahhh, should I wait and do a formal unboxing? Isn’t that what all the kids are into? LOL New trifold couch
  7. shower platform framed w/d platform framed plank on big slide
  8. Will do and report
  9. Awesome! Thanks. I installed a vent on our 5ver with zero issues. Even though it wasn’t designed for a vent
  10. Well not sure if that was directed to me, but yes I used a relay. Thanks again for insight. The pressure gauge is on my todo list.
  11. Strange as my bird did not come on with just the Key turned. I didn’t try it with the engine running. I hunted around till I found an wire that lit with just the key on. Your install looks slick! Nice job.
  12. Yes, we put off building a home. 4x8 sheet of OSB last April, $4-$5 now $30-$40 We just downloaded the sheet to have guardian plates made and will get those in
  13. The little hole on the left is for the back panel I took out. The other hole on right is 1/4 hole. It was behind the back wall panel. It’s is closest to sticker saying look for hole I will feel around and look for indent
  14. Read through some posts this morn, and don’t want to hijack a thread. We are rebuilding the platform for the W/D combo and there is a sticker that reads “there is a hole near this sticker where to drill” I guess I’m asking,,, is this the hole?
  15. Yeah our Fords warn you when start each time they are collecting info. We get emailS or Alerts in app that trucks are due for service. They all know location and mileage of my trucks
  16. On Harvest Host, you can read reviews on what the sites are like. Again, we have it, so if anyone wants a route of where locations are at, let me know and I can list what’s along the way
  17. Trust me truck stop was last resort. We were blown off the road in Topock Az and Weed Ca. Most, if not all CA rest areas are closed. And yes, it’s sucks to be a Trucker. Electronic hours of service logs make pulling over NOW. Critical. They park wherever they can. The paper logs we used to run made it pretty easy LOL
  18. Which is a better injection system. The big 3 pickup makers are vacillating on pumps as problem arise. I think I read Ram is going back to a CP3 that has been redesigned to handle the pressure/volume. CP4 failures were creeping up. And Chevy went away from them (CP4) all together. I believe they run Denso now. Feel free to let me know if I need to edit. I’m a Ford Guy.
  19. Have you looked into Harvest Host or Boondockers Welcome? We Bought into Harvest Host ($79) a year. Haven't used it yet but hope to as 1 night stays are their thing (free), just ask that you purchase whatever the farm, winery, brewery is selling. Or you can add on Golf which allows you to golf or most courses just ask you visit the pro shop and grab a polo. It's a great way to shop for gifts to give to family. Boondockers Welcome seems a little different, some hosts want you to come in and hang out, not my thing, but most sites they will leave you alone. I haven't investigated them as much. After a night at a Pilot, A night in a Rest area after the Wife freaked at the though of spending another night at a pilot, I grabbed Harvest Host as an outlet if we are somewhere we are unfamiliar with. Youtube Traveling with Robert. He has stopped at more that a Few Rest Areas and Walmarts on His trip from Florida to Quartzsite a few years back. Long video, like 2 hours, but he chronicles it pretty good. RVerTv on youtube has been all over AZ and stopped many places as well.
  20. Thanks Van, I'll figure out the 1/4 valve for placement on the outlet of the Primary filter. The secondary is still the original set up that has a drain on the bottom. And yes, just insurance for the CAPPS. A fueled body is a happy body no matter what that body is. Thanks again for your insight. Ordering Monaco Watts front and Rear Cross today to help keep thing thing between the lines. The TRW is in the works as well. I believe I need to pull the Shepherd to see what the stamp for cross reference, but thats a whole other thread to start. JD
  21. Changed out lighting to LED Took out sink cabinet to paint and get rid of carpet under sink, yuck. hillbilly handle fix is gone as well
  22. Thanks Van for chiming in. I’ve poured over almost everything you have posted, and truly appreciate all you have done for the Monaco Community. I need your help on this then. If the FASS system I purchased and installed doesn’t work correctly by design, am I damaging the engine? The 8.3 return line comes off the injectors, under the cover, and back through the primer (lift) pump on the side closest to block if I’m understanding what over read and looked at. It then is returned to the tank to be re-filtered again once it’s drawn up by the FASS If it doesn’t work like that, do I need attached a line from the manifold end and return it to tank? The instructions from the kit shows it returning. Again, if it is hurting the engine, I need to know. I cannot afford to rebuild and engine down the road.
