  1. You are quite talented. I havent had a bad time with it but never got the bypass cap when I bought coach. I thought before I change out the system I would see if I could aquire the cap to help when I needed to winterize it. Thank you for your response.
  2. Hi All I am looking for the water filter by-pass cap for an Everpure under sink water filter. Might anyone have it and want to sell it?
  3. I would either leave the hot water heater on electric overnight or drain it. As far as the wet bay I would indeed put a heat source in the wet bay either the 150 bulb or I have a small ceramic heater that works on thermostat and blows heat. One or the other to get you through the night. as far as the water source if you disconnected the hose will drain by itself. And as far as the sewer line there is nothing in it to freeze.
  4. This is gonna sound weird but look at all exposed wires underneath. There has been a serge of rats chewing through wires especially if your coach was sitting along time. Also during these really cold nights if you are plugging in your block heater you are inviting then in and they like to chew wires. Just saying.
  5. Yes it should have. I would check the โ€œdiskโ€ in the wiring. I understand there is a way to jump it to test and see if system comes on. If it does you need to replace disk. Someone said you can get on Amazon
  6. You appear to have a cold water pkg. The switch activates the sysrem. When its cold enough the sensor closes a disk and the system and light come on. It is usually a small heater in the water bay but can also be heat blabkets for the holding tanks.
  7. I was always lead to believe that if a fuse is blowing its a safety feature. The alternative is a fire. I would suggest you find the cause instead of feeding it fuses.
  8. Yes it will release the brakes. Is that your goal?? I would leave parking brake on (no air to braking system whick locks braked) Then run engine and look for leak. If you depress brake peddel and the pressure doesnt hold it is in braking system. Dont use the Tow Truck connection or your coach will roll.
  9. I wet sanded the lenses with 2000 grit sand paper. Then I buffed them. They came out like glass. Then Ibought new Silver Tip bulbs. I have heard of people doing that. I myself was not up for tackling it. Iโ€™m more than happy with my results.
  10. Waste left in black tank that long is no longer liquid. Its sludge. I would buy some Green Goblin and put it ib tank with as much water as you can. After a day or so I would drive the coach with a lot of breaking to more it around. Then try to dump again

  12. I want to say thank you for making such an easy, informative and useful site available. I have learned so much in such a short time. Thank you to all who have shared their knowledge and insight. I truly appreciate all who contribute.
  13. I have the system with the heater. It only activates when temps in bay are less than 40 deg
  14. Call Veurinks Monaco Parts (616) 281-5111. They will ask for the serial number of coach. This tells them which starter is in your coach.
  15. There is one on my coach. Why take chances and ruin a trip?
  16. I use Veuricks RV Parts. I work with Sue. She has my coach Serial nbr. I always get the right parts. (616) 965-9619
  17. Call Veurinks Monaco Parts - (616) 281-5111.
  18. National General RV Ins. Mine is $103 a month. But if I put it in storage and notify them its less. Notification is automated on phone. Takes 5 min.
  19. I like 300 miles a day. I do 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. However I just completed 4 trips legs that were 500 a day. I break it us with 15 to 20 minute break and dont really have a problem. However I did drive tractor trailers in my younger days and consistantly drove 10 hours a day and worked 15 in a 24 hour period. I think its harder on my wife on the long days so we try to stay with 300.
  20. CapnDean interesing idea. Please let me ask you, how long have you had this coach? Would you repost after you have given them a good trial run and compare their performance with the four 6v?
  21. Jim that was great! Do hou think the same format would work with floor vents? Do you know how I could get to them if they need work to clear out a blockage or effect a repair? I just ordered a camera. Also I going to incorporate the idea to open up vents and instead of just using a vacuum cleaner use a blower. Great ๐Ÿ‘ Thank you all! Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ
