  1. Good info, I have all new filters for my Cummins but have been putting it off because of the possibility of inducing air into the system.
  2. Good info everyone, I now have some readings to take and alternative options. Thanks!
  3. Thanks Ivan, on my coach, there must be high resistance in one of the runs from the Chassis batteries to the genset. Seems like a common problem.
  4. Chassis batteries start the big deisel with no problem... strange. Ivylog, is your dedicated genset battery wired to the studs on the back of the genset making it parallel to the chassis Batts or totally independent? Just thinking how best to add one.
  5. I have the same issue on my Dynasty. It starts off the chassis but I have to use boost unless shore power or engine alternator is changing chassis. I did the cable clean/burnish at the genset. No change. Chassis Batts are new. Curiously following.
  6. I've had our rig for a year and a half. Amazed at the features on this beast and always learning. The knowledge on this forum is increadable. Thanks for all the sharing everyone.
  7. My air Chuck is in the left front bay above the propane tank. There is a capped propane line in the R/H front bay. It is equipped with a small shutoff valve. My manual was a bit vague on these features as I do not believe there was a production standard for these installs.
  8. That coach looks great! Hope you have resolved the starting issue as it looks ready to enjoy!
  9. Looks like a good solution to get the slide squared up. I hope you are able to get a final resolution.
  10. I have not replaced my girard fabric but I think Stone Vos may be able to assist. They provided me slide topper fabric and are highly regarded.
  11. I have a similar Genny start issue with my 2006 Dynasty on occasion. It's ok if I start the Genny shortly after removing shore power or shutting down the big diesel but requires battery boost to start if left w/o a charging source over night. I suspect either chassis battery switch, big boy, or cable run to genset has higher than acceptable resistance. I have not had time to t/s . I have heard of folks adding a battery up front close to the genset to solve this issue. My genset cranks from the chassis battery- verified by switching chassis battery off. Also verified shore power, engine driven alternator and genset are charging house and chassis batteries @ 13.8 - 14.2 volts.
  12. Yes, congrats on the new coach. Awesome wealth of knowledge here! The folks here are the best for helping fellow Monacoers. We purchased our Dynasty a year and a half ago and we love it. Hope to full time someday. We also have the diamond IV floorplan.
  13. My owners manual for my Dynasty lists belt part numbers. You may need to cross reference different manufacturers but would be a starting point.
  14. As others have stated, the roof on a 2007 Sign is fiberglass and not firmly affixed to the roof structure. It will flex when walked on and this condition is normal. Areas of concern would be penetrations and the belt line molding interface between walls and roof. Lots of good info on this site regarding these areas.
  15. Welcome Greg, you have found the best site for these rigs. Enjoy the ride!
  16. Try cycling the salesman switch. This had worked on our Dynasty a couple times when my bedroom slide switch panel had no power.
  17. Wow, those look fantastic! I've been contemplating wheel covers for my 2006 Dynasty. Did MCD do the tracks?
  18. Great advice, I think I'll try obtaining the duckbill fitting and drilling a hole. Thanks!
  19. I had a similar issue with my Dynasty last weekend. Found condensation on the clear cover for the slide control board on the front firewall. Removing the cover and letting everything dry out for a couple of days seems to have solved the issue. I noticed there is no vent hole in the control board enclosure to allow temperature stabilization. Has anyone else had this issue? I'll try to add pics later.
  20. I'm also looking at replacing my chassis batteries before my trip in May. I'm looking at Interstate 31-MHD(950 cca $175 ) and Interstate 31- XHD (1000 cca $215). Other than the cca and price they seem identical. I'm leaning towards the XHD for the little extra starting power even though I think it may be negligible. Anyone have any insight as to the difference of these batteries? Thanks!
  21. On my Dynasty I had a similar issue a couple of times. Once solved by HWH reset switch in the Front Run Box, red "fault light" was illuminated. Pushed the reset. The other time I forgot to turn on the salesman switch at the front door. Doing so restored HWH functions.
  22. I did as Jim states. Removed / cleaned and matched it up at northern tool supply. Ended up with one for an air compressor tank. Same threads, somewhat different valve but functions the same.
  23. Thanks Frank, still trying to understand these functions.
  24. Vito is correct. My 2006 Dynasty bathroom blower is activated by the hallway thermostat by the bedroom. This is zone 2 on the thermostat. In order for that bath room blower to run the Aqua hot switch in the bath room must be on, and the thermostat for zone 2 needs to be calling for heat. This should result in the hall blower and bathroom blower activation. My config does not show a Zone 4. on the thermostat.
