We had a similar problem with our windshield wipers only working in certain Positions.   Replaced the clockspring and everything works.  The video shows a detailed explanation of how to replace it.  I called REV and after giving them my Vin they told me the part number I needed.  While in there replacing the Clockspring don't forget to grease the steering wheel fitting.

I was unable to find the problem and took it to a shop and that's what they found and replaced it $40.00 part I believe...Won't be able to look under till next month and don't know if the brake switch is all in one or 2 separate switches.

Where was the brake switch located?

Look at the outside firewall, where the brake pedal is mounted on the inside of it for a typical location. The switches come in pairs.
