Jeff01
Thank you I will check that out. Mine seems to only operate when I extend the steering column and tilt it forward.
Solution Dr4Film Posted October 6, 2023 Solution Share Posted October 6, 2023 I was wondering what you meant by "certain positions". Now I understand. With those symptoms I would suspect the clockspring to be suspect.
Jeff01
Thank you for the reply. I’ve watched videos on removal of the clock spring but was not sure what symptoms it could cause.
WCourand
We had a similar problem with our windshield wipers only working in certain Positions. Replaced the clockspring and everything works. The video shows a detailed explanation of how to replace it. I called REV and after giving them my Vin they told me the part number I needed. While in there replacing the Clockspring don't forget to grease the steering wheel fitting.

ktloah
Where was the brake switch located?
Michael Powell
I was unable to find the problem and took it to a shop and that's what they found and replaced it $40.00 part I believe...Won't be able to look under till next month and don't know if the brake switch is all in one or 2 separate switches. Look at the outside firewall, where the brake pedal is mounted on the inside of it for a typical location. The switches come in pairs.
