  1. It’s all good! Leave it up for a while; not all of our members look at the site everyday. Hope you find one! PS - @pwhittle is really good at figuring out those connectors. He may be able to help.
  2. Steve, At my darling wife’s request, I replaced my 32” with a 39” Vizio. (Actually, she wanted a bigger TV - I gave her dimensions and she found one that fit exactly) I didn’t opt for the smart TV because we use a Roku. If buying today I would look at one with the Roku “built in” (I think Hisense and maybe one other company makes them, but they are also called Roku TVs and can be found at Costco or Sam’s Club) (yes, those cabinet doors have about 1/2” clearance to open 🤪)
  3. Oops! I switched about 6 months ago and forgot to mention the password thing. I activated it in an old iphone and then put it in the RoadLink. It does require a couple of reboots to start working. (No idea why!) The good news is I have been using it since October with no issues. Thanks for sharing your experience. It will help other avoid the frustration.
  4. Yes, but I haven't seen a cellular data-only agreement from any major carrier that doesn't have a similar clause.
  5. AT&T recently announced a new prepaid data-only plan targeted at mobile data users. $55/mo for 100GB data. Cricket, an AT&T subsidiary, has also dropped their price for 100GB to $55. Both will work with a TOGO RoadLink, Winegard ConnecT2.0, as well as many other mobile routers snd hotspots. Cricket is much more restricted on the devices that are compatible. more info on AT&T: https://www.att.com/prepaid/plans/ (scroll to bottom of page) More info on Cricket: https://www.cricketwireless.com/data-only-plans Mobile Internet Resource Center article: https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/att-prepaid-great-deal-plan-now-offers-100gb-for-50-month-on-hotspots-tablets/
  6. David, The default for the site is “follow all”. When we started the new site in Dec 2019 the default was “follow none”, but we received so many complaints we changed it to “follow all”. The best way to handle it would be to let the user select on sign-up, but that option is not available. The easiest way to change that is to go to click on your use name once signed in, click on “Account” , then “Manage Followed Content”. From there you have several options, but to unfollow, you can select “Forums” on the left hand menu, you can use the little check box in the upper right hand corner and “Select All”, then select “No Notification”. You can also easily select which forms, topics, downloads, etc. to follow from that screen. Hope that helps. scotty
  7. I recently saw someone looking for a toad. Saw this today and thought I’d share…
  8. Hello everyone... I moved this thread to Body, Awning, Slides, etc. I was having to manually approve each post in the Service section, which slows down the conversation. I did leave a link there redirecting folks here. 😁 Sorry if that causes any inconvenience.
  9. Insert the Cricket SIM card, then power back up and attach the ToGo to WiFi (not 4G/LTE - I just used the personal hot spot on my phone) Go to the web interface at 10.11.12.2 and sign in using your admin password. Use the drop down at the bottom of the page and select “Change Carrier”. Leave the carrier on AT&T, but change the APN from “BROADBAND” to “ndo”. (You have to type in “ndo” as a custom setting - it’s not a drop down choice). DM me if you need me to walk you through it - including where to find your admin password 😁.
  10. Just for the record, more compete info including years “Who Made What” is available specifically on Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Beaver, and Safari coaches in our Articles section. But this is a really interesting document to see about other coaches, etc...
  11. I plan to replace my ToGo with Starlink once it’s available for RV. I signed up for the beta at my house, but don’t expect to see it until this fall (Atlanta). What’s the performance like at your house? Have you run any tests?
  12. A comprehensive, 73-page directory of every RV manufacturer in America and the makes and models of each brand. It’s divided into sections for easy reference — motorized RVs, towables, truck campers … even a section devoted to ice fishing RVs (if you live where it’s cold in the winter you know about these unique recreational vehicles). Download it here: https://www.rvtravel.com/WhoMakesWhat/
  13. Hope this helps. Lug nut torque is stated in a rather unusual place in our owners manual, “Driving Safety” (certainly not where I would look for it!) From p 2-84 of the 2004 Camelot Owners Manual: Front Wheels: Slide the front wheel over the studs, being careful not to damage stud threads. Snug the nuts in sequence, do not tighten them fully until all have been seated. Tighten the nuts to 500 ft.lbs in sequence (as shown in the illustration). Dual Rear Wheels: Slide the inner dual wheel over the studs, being careful not to damage the stud threads. Align the handholds for valve access and slide the outer dual wheel over the studs, again being careful not to damage the stud threads. Snug the nuts in sequence, do not tighten them fully until all have been seated. Tighten the nuts to 500 ft. lbs. using the sequence (as shown in the illustration). The hub mount wheels use two piece flange cap nuts for both front and rear applications. No inner cap nuts are required. Torque the Nuts Properly: • Tighten the wheel nuts to the recommended lug nut torque. Do not over tighten. • Maintain the nut torque at the recommended level through planned periodic checks or at 10,000 miles intervals, whichever comes first. • If air wrenches are used they must be periodically calibrated for the proper torque output. Use a torque wrench to check the air wrench output and adjust the line pressure for the correct torque.
  14. Donald, Thanks for bringing this up, as many members don’t realize you can change your email address, password, and screen name. To change your email (password, screen name, etc), click on the menu bar (three white lines) in the upper right hand corner of the screen, click on “Account”, then “Account Settings”. To the right of your email address you can click on “change”. As always, I’m happy to assist if needed. Scotty PS - I’ve edited out your actual email addresses, and discourage anyone from posting a real email address on the public pages of the site. If you need to share an email address I’d suggest you do it via private message. Because these pages can be seen by the public, they can also be read by “bots” who will save, then sell your email address to spammers... disappointing, I know, but it’s the world we live in...
  15. Dennis, Each day’s newsletter is posted at https://www.monacoers.org/forum/25-digests/ If you’ll go to this page and click “Follow” on the right side of the page, you *should* get a notification each day when the newsletter is posted, even if you don’t receive the newsletter If that doesn’t work, send me a pm and I’ll check your email address with Invision to see if it has been blocked.
  16. Mike, Not sure how I missed telling you about this, but I’m using a Cricket Wireless data-only SIM (AT&T’s discount prepaid brand) in my ToGo. $50/mo for 40GB, and you can add 15GB for +$10 as many times as needed. They also have a 22GB plan for $35/mo and a 100GB plan for $90/mo. Might not work if you use a lot of data, but with a ToGo it works well for us until I find a better solution... Heres a link to their data plans: https://www.cricketwireless.com/data-only-plans

  18. While replacing my flooring, I finally found the source of that draft of hot and cold air ever time a big rig passes me... Apparently, the previous owner had cut the steering boot away at some point. Or maybe it got hung up and torn away... in any event, there are now just ragged rubber edges where it used to be... I’m having trouble finding a replacement I feel like this is something a truck shop should have. REV has the original part listed on their site but does not stock it. If anyone has a good idea where to source this boot it would be greatly appreciated The installed boot should look like this (not my coach): And new exact OEM replacement for a 2006 Dip from REV looks like this (if they had them in stock 🤦🏻‍♂️)...
  19. Almost every member has their first name, last initial, coach year and model in their signature at the bottom of their post. A few have slipped through the cracks. IF you see one that doesn't have that info, please let me know and I'll get with that member to make sure that's in their signature that should be on every post. But in the end you are right; it should be on every post. UNFORTUNATELY, even when the member has that info in their signature, it doesn't show up in the notification emails. I'm trying to fix that. Scotty
  20. It has driven quite a bit of traffic... We have a large number of new members! I'm a member of MI, so I'll send them an email and maybe we'll be in their next newsletter. 😉
