  1. Hot off the press. https://rvbusiness.com/holiday-rambler-introduces-the-2021-nautica-diesel-pusher/
  2. The best way I know of to determine the furnace ducts in the floor run the entire length of the coach is to open up either the front most or rear most vent and place a flash light shining toward the other end of the coach. Go to the next vent, open it up, and using a small mirror look to see if you can see the light. Keep working toward the opposite end of the coach. The floor ducts opening depends on the year, make, and model of the coach. You can also vacuum out the saw dust that was left in the ducts during manufacturing.
  3. Sometimes we are our own worse enemy. I do not understand why you would cut the wiring harness when you can unplug it. Do you have the manual that came with the frig? If so, there should be information in it to go to a web site to download the information you need. Why would you leave the frig out in the backyard exposed to the elements? The fridge should have a ECM control module to run it. Cutting wiring harnesses remove information that the ECM needs to operate properly. If the icemaker is the same type that is in a Norcold 1200 series frig, there are web sites that have the manual for the ice maker. Google should point you to those sites.
  4. I recommend replacing the fuel filters first before getting into a more complicated issue. Dirty fuel filters are the major cause of the problem you are having.
  5. Ed, you are the first person I know of to say thank you for a answer to a question. I appreciate that.
  6. ??? My posts are posted under the assumption the the circuit is working correctly. Just trying to point members in the right direction instead of trying to confuse folks.
  7. All depends on how your inverter charger is wired. There is dual in, dual out which Requires a Sub Panel. There is dual in, single out. Single in, dual out. All is depending on year, make, and model of the coach. Check your inverter manual for wiring examples. So one might say we are comparing apples to oranges. It helps if one lists the coach they are referring to.
  8. The front TV is set up not to operate on the generator while the coach is going down the road. That is because it prevents the driver from being distracted from the road while watching TV. On the 2004 Windsor there is a fuse labeled TV/Level Lockout. It is shown on the back of the front run bay fuse cover under IGN #2, fuse # 15, a 7.5 amp fuse. Hope this helps. Chuck B
  9. I recommend a replacement with a wax fan drive controller. Contact Source Manufacturing at 838-562-8662 and talk with Scott Zimmer, The former manager of the Oregon Roadmaster plant.
  10. I do not know how long many members have been around. For me, my first Monaco coach was a 1998 Diplomat, number 081749. It was the 49th Dip Monaco made. It was the first Dip Without a slide out and the first Dip with a booth dinette. In 2004, we traded our Dip for a 2004 Windsor, our last coach. We full timed in it for 6 years. I am a charter member of Bill D's Monacoer's group when Bill broke off from Al Poggi's MCOA ( Monaco Coach Owners Association) group. Not many of us around any more.
  11. The picture I posted is on my 2004 Windsor with a 2004 ISL400-2 engine. In 2005, Cummins upgraded the engine to a 425 engine. As I posted earlier, in 2008 Monaco was close to bankruptcy. They used what they had on their shelf because their credit was bad. Around 2004, Monaco purchased a huge number of Cummins engines. All the owner has to do is pull the engine serial number and call Cummins. They will tell him what year and model engine he has. Simple. I bet my penny he has a 2004 ISL 400 engine.
  12. You can go to www.monacocoachdot com to download the brochure on your 2008 Windsor. You will find out the the rear axle ratio is 4.30:1. In 2008 Monaco used what was left on their shelf to build coaches before going bankrupt. Your ISL 400-2 engine, a 2004 year engine, that has the common fuel rail. Cummings has a recall on it to add a support bracket to the fuel rail long tube to keep it from vibrating thus developing leaks. The 2005 ISL engine was a 425 hp engine. I suggest that you go to a Cummins factory dealer to get the proper engine ECM software loaded that includes the proper engine exhaust brake software. They can also install the recall fuel rail support bracket.
  13. At least twice a year you need to go up on the roof, remove the shroud, and clean the inside of the unit with water. Dust and dirt can do wonders to shorten the life of the unit. Check the fan to see if it turns smoothly or binds. Keeping the unit clean and the fan running smoothly will extend the life of the unit.
  14. When God passed out brains and common sense, some people forgot to show up. https://rvbusiness.com/rver-accidentally-dumps-sewage-into-gas-station-fuel-tank/
  15. There should be instructions in the spiral bound manual that came with the coach.
  16. After I retired I took on the hobby of "doing less than nothing". That is creating work for others.
  17. Through out my years in life, I have got to know you get what you pay for in goods and service. I thank God that no one has had their RV fall on them due to faulty jack stands. Snap on tools are guaranteed for life. If they become defected for any reason, they are replaced free. Same for Craftsman tools before Sears folded.
  18. I was the first one to report a Norcold frig fire in 2008. The fire started in the conduit where the 120 vac heater wires entered the flue tube. Norcold came out with a fix by replacing the metal tubes with a bakelite type unit. That was able to keep the fires from starting.
  19. To those who think Harbor freight tools are great. To the Harbor Freight Community: I'm writing to apologize. I often reach out to tell you about Harbor Freight's commitment to quality and all the investments we've made to deliver quality tools at the lowest prices. Your trust matters deeply to me and I'm proud of how far we've come. So when we have a product recall, it hurts. A few months ago, we recalled our Pittsburgh 3 ton and 6 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 56371, 61196 and 61197) due to a manufacturer's defect. We asked customers to return them and receive a gift card that could be used to purchase replacement jack stands. I felt terrible about that recall because you should never have a concern about the safety of any of our products. Today, I feel even worse. I'm disappointed and embarrassed because we've identified a welding defect in a small number of the Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKU 56373) that replaced the recalled jack stands. We're now adding these jack stands to our recall. Unfortunately, this defect wasn't discovered during the initial recall investigation. If you own these jack stands or any of the jack stands in our original recall, whether or not you have had an issue with them, please stop using them immediately and bring them back to your local Harbor Freight Store for a full cash refund or store credit (see details here). We have investigated all of our other Pittsburgh 3 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 56371, 56372 and 57308) as well as the Pittsburgh 6 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 56368, 56369 and 56370) and Pittsburgh 12 ton steel jack stands (SKUs 56374 and 56375) and did not find the defect. Although none of these other jack stands are being recalled, if you own any of them and have any concern whatsoever, please bring them back and we'll give you a full cash refund or store credit for those as well. I want to apologize to all of our customers. While we've dramatically grown our team of engineers and inspectors, and intensified our tests and inspections, I assure you that the lessons learned from this will drive further improvement. As the owner and founder of Harbor Freight, I want you to know that we stand behind every product we sell and that safety will always be our top priority. Sincerely, Eric Smidt Owner and Founder
  20. This is the 4th and final payment for those who filed claims. What does your Fisher Paykel have to do with the Norcold settlement checks?
  21. https://www.norcoldclassaction.com/Home.aspx See above. Many Norcold owners a 4 years late and several hundred dollars short.
