  1. Morning it is a tough call to make, if it was ME I would have stayed close to the first Napa I came to, try to find a camp site and or stay in a parking lot close by where I could have access to LOTS of parts/tools. I just returned from the east coast (Canada) in my 2010 Dodge 6,7 L pulling my 5000lb boat, got up in the morning and same thing (water pump) called the Dealership and they took it in, Napa had the pump there in a few hours, it was not even worth the stress or getting my hands dirty for $ 550.00 for water pump, new belt and labor. I am doing a turn around and back to the east coast at the end of the month, this time with the coach pulling my 2010 Dodge Crew cab Cummins Diesel, fingers crossed that we have no issues , if I do I am going to make a cup of coffee and make a plan, find a Cummins dealership /shop and limp it in. I am very hesitant to drive any distance with a failing water pump. Just being Wayne Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  2. Just thought, how could it be a 12 volt issue when the coach is plugged into the house? Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  3. Batteries are going on 4 years, fully charged, everything clean, everything else you said is correct, going to check batteries again Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  4. Morning I had zone 3 running great, do not think it is the thermostat, this morning I fired up the Aqua hot,let it warm up for a while and turned on Zone 3 (galley) all good, went back into the bedroom and turned on Zone 1 and then thats when zone 3 thermostat went blank again and power off ? Programming problem, something else? Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  5. It is the on /off switching , moved it over slowly, it is a little loose and that's why it is on/off intermittently, so it is good to know some simple things to trouble shoot. Going to have it looked at and hopefully rebuilt by a local guy. Thanks for the help Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  6. I guess I could take the thermostat from the bedroom to the galley to test wether it is a thermostat issue, correct? Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  7. Morning Thanks Vito Just spoke to the gentleman that repairs them, he told me to try the on/off switch usually come loose and the back to make sure everything is secure, going to send him both switches over the winter to rebuild. Air conditioner's still work great so won't spend the big dollars until one of the main ones goes done. Thanks for the great info/ connection Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  8. Vito Yes I am still using 4 button controller, I did buy the new one you are describing, I will follow your instructions in the morning with a coffee and it should work.I bought the new one in Minneapolis before COVID and the guys in the parts department had no Idea how to program it to the Air Conditioner, now that you say that I remember the FF coming up but did not understand what to do next, may have read the instructions at some point and seen that but been so long who knows! Thank you very much Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  9. Thanks guys I did open and cleaned the connection at the air conditioner, I will try to clean them up some more at both ends. Ray ,I was talking about John Haggard Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  10. A couple months ago I posted a question in regards to my front /Galley thermostat zone 3, I have not used the coach since November, did some repairs , always plug in, started regularly and so on, long story short, I think Richard responded and mentioned to clean the telephone cables at the air conditioner and thermostat, I did spray a electronic cleaner, today I turn it on, the screen has a display for say 10 seconds and goes out, so I have not solved the problem, I do have another dometic thermostat (new) that I put in and nothing, it seems to work when it wants to, It would be nice to have the front Air working, I am more concerned about the heat in that join once we start to travel in the Fall, any suggestions would be appreciated. Man I miss John! Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar

  14. Woody My dad taught us a couple things work hard and be kind, and when things get tough work harder. He has used the golden goose phrase for the 57 years that I have been on this earth, I used it with my kids. We are experiencing the same problem in our part of the country. 15. Great post! John could I send you an email in regards to another topic ( having problems with our 1953 60 series John Deere) I do not want to annoy anyone on our Monaco site, do you have another email address that I can ask the question (if you don't mind) Thanks Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  16. We should have a Monaco top 10 ! - Tires - every (so many years) - Alternator - Rebuild only - Max speed - 63 miles per hour - Do not crawl under the coach unless you are qualified and have the correct supports - Aqua hot - Service annually - Do no top up motor with oil! It has reached its sweet spot,if it is low check for leaks or it probably needs to be serviced - service annually, no matter how much you use it - if you want to own one of these rigs you better start putting a minimum of $ 600.00/ month into a coach fund, that is no joke ( for newbies) Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
  17. Are the Toyo's motor coach tires? I paid $ 560.00 installed plus tax for Bridgestone R 268 Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar

  24. Thanks Wayne John, I called Josams in Florida, spoke to the service department, very helpful, I would definitely recommend them, was just curious if a person wanted to change out all the air bags they would need at least a month's notice, another problem he said would be getting parts ,parts now are very difficult to come by. Firestone still does make Airsprings ,Airsprings is the tech term we should be using, Firestone part # 9376 for 99 /00 Signature Wayne 1999 Signature Caesar
