  1. Do you mean the center of the dashboard. I know about the wires beneath the passenger cup holder. There is NO power to these wires. I need to find the control module....
  2. We own an 04 Dynasty with the outside push button pad to lock the entry door or lock the bays. We don't know too much on where to look for the control module. I know the reset is under the passenger cup holder. There doesn't seem to be any power getting to the outside pad. Fuse is good under the driver side outside bay. Can anyone point us in the right direction on where to look for the control box? Thx
  3. Michel, I did find the problem with no low beams...it was the J12 plug on the smart wheel controller. Ran new wires to a separate relay, and it works just fine. There are multiple replies on how to....good luck! 04 Dynasty
  4. Check the J12 plug at the smart wheel controller and see of P1 and P2 are burnt...if they are not you should be ok.
  5. You can buy the connectors from NEWARK SUPPLY or a local do it yourself electronics store. Online for the same connector they quoted 39$. I picked one up for under 5$
  6. Try the contacts where they plug into the smart wheel control box located in the bay on left front side. I had same problem with cruise shutting off. Sprayed some electrical contact cleaned and it works now
  7. Hey Patrick, here's a pic of mine. I bypassed the smart wheel box for the headlights. I believe that over time, the relays wear out or get weak. I ran a 12 ga. Hot wire to a new relay, a 12 ga. Wire to grd. Took P2 wire from the J12 plug and to the relay. P1 wire I cut and taped off.
  8. There was a discussion on this earlier. Search for this in the electrical section. I had the same problem and it was where the wire harness plugs into the smart wheel control box in the front bay beneath the driver. J12 connector was burned.
  9. Thanks for all the help....I'll post what the problem is when I find out...
  10. Hello campers, while traveling home we lost our low beam side of the headlights. Marker lights flashed and they went out. Could not find any fuse, relay in the left front compartment. Checked the engine bay too. 04 Dynasty...400 isl...any suggestions?
  11. 04 Dynasty, 400 ISL, Today while traveling in NC, the cruise control stopped working. Pushed SET again and it worked for less than a minute. Shutoff cruise and tried again to no avail. Now it won't engage at all but light on dash says it's on. Jake is off....anyone ever experience this before?
  12. Thanks for the great info....will try to replace the spring....
  13. Hey Mike, here are some pics of what I have. Spring is rusted and not sure if I can replace just spring?!
  14. Thanks Rich, be heading out for bike week in SD with 5 other coaches, and feel its better to communicate by CB. I always used a "firestik" but I need close to the original for height purposes only... Thanks Dave, I'll get my ladder out and post a picture
  15. Fellow glampers, does anyone know where to purchase a replacement CB antenna for a 04 Dynasty? Searched online but can't seem to find one that is short enough for the roof...thanks
  16. Like Rick, I try to head off potential problems before they become problems....do most of my own repairs....
  17. Take the DOT numbers on the bottom of your existing headlight and Google them. You can easily find them on eBay or amazon
  18. I too had a tank load of "ALGAE". I couldn't go 100 miles till she clogged up...400 ISL. Shocked the tank with KILLEM. Bought many primary and secondary as well as aqua-hot filters...it eventually cleanup. Now I run a conditioner with each fill up. When my tank reads 1/2, I fill up. When it sits for any length of time, I add KILLEM. Good luck.
  19. Got my tank at Source Engineering in Oregon. Jim was very helpful in info and it bolted right up to the existing holes
  20. Just had mine changed and flushed at cummins. They used GREEN antifreeze with SCA. I have an SCA filter that I change twice a year.
  21. Great news and thanks for telling us
  22. My 04 Dynasty started to lean to the right in travel mode. After a lengthy phone call to HWH, the tech walked me through some diagnostics. Turned out, it needed a " travel mode" sensor...bought 2, replaced myself, and good to go. HWH was very helpful but don't wait for them to call. Call again! Had some friends who made an appointment while in Iowa. 5 star service he said!
