  1. Paul, On the homepage near the bottom there is a section in the ‘Classified Ads’ area called ‘Coaches For Sale’. From there you can simply start a new topic the same way you made this one. There will be an option near the bottom to upload accompanying pictures as well. Good luck with the sale! Always like to see what the other members have. 🤤
  2. Best of luck on the sale, Marie. Sounds like a well cared for and well upgraded coach for the next person to appreciate. Have any pictures to post?
  3. Bob, looks like a very well cared for coach. Best of luck with the sale!
  4. RemFlex Gaskets - “If you don’t like ‘em, you haven’t tried ‘em” 😎
  5. My Cayman does this too. Freaks me out. Far as I have read though, it is normal to an extent, but I have seen others posting on here that their windshield has popped out before. 🤷‍♂️
  6. Well that could have been much worse. I’d be quite happy with that outcome. Glad to hear you’re back up and running and I have high hopes for those RemFlex gaskets. I also was unable to source my manifold, Cummins just said keep calling back. Nothing in salvage market either. About 4 months later I kinda lost my temper with one of the support people and that’s when they suggested trying an emergency part order but there would be no guarantee, and it would cost money, So I did, and about 1 months later I got a call my manifold was ready to be picked up, their plant in Texas pulled the casting and made one for me. That was a good day. Cost me I believe 1800 total just for the larger of the 2 piece manifold. Smaller one I was able to source. Crazy. Safe travels and happy holidays!
  7. I looked into doing the EGR delete on my ISB as a means of trying to save some money and time sourcing parts as only re-mans are available for my rig. I believe my reman EGR valve alone cost me 1200 Canadian plus core. 🫣 Unfortunately every mechanic and tuning shop that knew what it would take said it wasn’t possible on my 2005 ISB as the ECM couldn’t be programmed for it - but 2007 and up would be doable. I had called about a dozen or so places and after being turned down for the same reasons from most shops I decided to just replace it and be done with it as I wasn’t sure what to believe. However I also came across two shops that argued quite firmly that my 2005 ISB engine never had an EGR valve or a VGT turbo and that I must be mistaken. I do envy you if you are able to do this on your ‘06 ISM engine. Best of luck!!
  8. @isptbart I should probably mention this as I don’t want to cause you more troubles... If you decide to use the RemFlex gaskets, you will need to do them all. They are much too thick to replace one or two of the OEM ones. Might also suggest getting the set for your engine versus buying a sheet and cutting them out yourself to save money. I tried that, they do not cut worth a d***, so I ended up buying the proper stamped set from their website and basically paying twice. 😡 It’s quite a tough call to make on chancing replacing the two leaking gaskets with OEM, hoping the manifold isn’t warped and the bolts will come out fine or get yourself into the situation I got myself into. This is how warped my manifold was…😭
  9. You should be able to peek in between the gasket and the slide to check the condition of the roller. When I ordered my plates, I made sure that it was a one piece plate to cover from the outside corner to past the first roller on each side of the slide.
  10. Not sure where your fuse is, but are you comfortable with bypassing the float valve with a jumper to see if that clears your alarms?
  11. Alarm only sounds when you put it in gear? When you key on without starting is there still an alarm? Hopefully just the reservoir tank level switch. Check the wiring around it and ensure the level is high enough as mentioned by others. Also try deploying your jacks again and then retracting them, keep the retract button going for a little longer than needed, but quite certain you just have a low level condition.
  12. The one I used was purchased on Amazon and made by a company called Solary and was the 1000 watt model. There is most likely better quality options out there, but this one worked for me and has come in handy for various other issues. I’m not saying you need to purchase this quite yet, more of a suggestion/solution if push comes to shove.
  13. Again, I wish you the utmost luck and success with this undertaking. As others have mentioned, a warped manifold could make this an extremely annoying and costly project. If you suspect a slightly warped manifold, I might suggest at least trying RemFlex gaskets. They are 1/8” thick and designed to rebound when compressed. OEM gaskets will not fix anything if your manifold is indeed warped. I hope to heck the larger piece of your two-piece manifold isn’t Cummins Part #3955199. Also as @Ray Davis mentioned, I do credit that induction heater with getting me at least 3 bolts out without breaking anything. I lubed the heck out of em, heated the mounting spacer piece up cherry red hot with that tool, and gently back and forthed it out. Spray lubing after each heat cycle. Did a few cycles. Lots and lots of white smoke, but the idea is that the penetrate wicks in better that way. I’m sure your coach is in much better shape than mine is so hopefully you’ll be just fine and it won’t be that big of deal. But you should still be prepared. I ended replacing the turbo, all the line sets, the EGR valve, radiator lines…basically everything on that side of the engine. It sucked. I wasn’t prepared for that much work. Had to learn, research, order and buy a lot of tooling, and I had to do it all in my driveway. Good times. Keep us updated! 14. I hope you have success with getting the bolts out. It’s quite a job if they don’t want to come out or you break 3/4 of them as was my case. I also used RemFlex gaskets which so far have not given me any issues.
  15. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding, but if the reservoir tank was overflowing, then did you not just have the valve set to fill the tank instead of city supply and there actually is no issue?
  16. Mind posting a pic or two of your repair process and/or the final product? Just curious is all. Lots of ways to do it, interesting to see how others do things, the products used etc.
  17. Congrats Eric. Not an easy task, so kudos to you!
  18. Have you purged the water system of any air? Try checking every tap - turn the water on for a bit - hot and cold. And for sure supply side valves are open and there is water in the tank. 😉
  19. Have you fully bled your water system of air?
  20. Hold up. You’re only getting 3-3.5 MPG with the new tires and your normal usage is 6.5-7MPG???😳
  21. What else does he have that he may part with?
