  2. Ha! If I tell my darling wife I'm going to be working on the coach and come back with nothing bleeding, she questions where I've been! Seems I recall a movie years back titled "There Will Be Blood"...
  3. I am set up for ABS, but my ABS guru is @pwhittle Paul Whittle. He prints ABS almost exclusively and is very knowledgeable. I’ll try it myself, the call Paul to help me troubleshoot. 🤣
  4. I would like to try and print some. Maybe use ABS? Would likely buy them if you offered injection molded versions. I have a few extras right now, but seems like I lose 1-2 every trip, and the wind noise seems to be well tuned to my hearing aid frequencies… (I.e., drives me crazy!)
  5. U YES! Please post those here: https://www.monacoers.org/forum/20-rv-service-reviews/
  6. If you want to go high tech, Home Depot has a natural gas sniffer for about $30. I’ve used mine several times, once found a leaky water heater valve, another time my regulator was leaking. Sooo, it worked for me!! https://www.homedepot.com/p/HOME-FLEX-Electronic-Gas-Leak-Detector-11-810-001/301876827
  7. Hopefully someone has a source for the exact bushing, but I had to purchase a similar bushing from McMaster-Carr then drill out the correct size hole. I bought the exact sized bit, but made it all work. Oil-Embedded Flanged Sleeve Bearing, for 1/4" Shaft Diameter and 3/8" Housing ID, 1/2" Long https://www.mcmaster.com/6338K413 Hope that helps. IF you can wait a few days (ha!), I bought a 10-pack and can drill them out and send it to you a couple, but I won’t be where I can do that until Wednesday.
  8. @throgmartin My reaction is that you have shown us part of the solution with what you gave done over the past few years. We (Monaco owners) need to ensure that we are willing to pay to have the services of folks like Bethany and Dustin, and as customers show our appreciation for what they do. Part of it is up to us to make them want to stay in this business! But I will also say that we all have a point where we will decide to hang up the hooks and gloves, or at least do less climbing. 😉
  9. Note: This is for a 2006 Diplomat, the twin to an Endeavor. As Richard mentions, check yours but I’m reasonably confident it will havea Sheppard M100PPN31. IF it does have a Sheppard and you’re having problems, it’s best to replace it with a TRW. There’s instructions for doing that in the files section.
  10. Yes. I used the template provided with the speakers and a jigsaw. I used blue painter's tape and a pin to mark the hole. The blue painters tape also help to prevent tearing the vinyl ceiling panel. The luan plywood is pretty thin in parts (mine had it reinforced at a couple of spots), so if you do that, go slow!! Oh, and voice of experience... put down a sheet of plastic to catch the Styrofoam snow... otherwise you can vacuum it up afterwards 🤣
  11. Thanks…. As much as I’m on the site, I still forget it’s slightly different for mobile vs. desktop browsers.
  12. Recently we started requiring phone numbers as required information when you register for the Monacoers site. The Moderators have found it very valuable to have a way (other than email) to contact members when there is a problem. many time a short phone call can save a large number of emails or private messages when a member is having problems with the site. This has NOT been required info when registering for the past three years. We are asking existing members to voluntarily add a phone number (cell phone preferred) to your profile. When your phone number is added to your profile, it will NOT be visible to other members, the public, search engine crawlers, or bots unless you explicitly allow it. It can only be seen by the Moderators and yourself. To add a phone number: Click on the Menu (three little bars in the upper right hand corner) Select “Account”, then “Profile” Once your profile appears, click on “Edit Profile” In the “Required Information” section, fill in the “phone number” field Hit “Save” Please let us know if you have any questions or comments.
