  1. That is your Vacuum Generator for controlling the air duct system for your Dash AC controls. It works on air plus a venturi to create the vacuum. Air hose on top, wires are from the Dash controls. Hose should go over to a large round plastic vacuum storage ball.
  2. I second using Space Coast Plating in Melbourne FL. They are the very best and you will never have any more chrome peeling ever!
  3. I think I read somewhere that the PEX and fittings in our Monaco coaches are rated for 100 psi. So, at a 110 psi I would expect leaks to occur somewhere.
  4. I would test each fuse in your Front Run Bay aka FRB as it may not be labeled exactly what you would expect OR it may be added onto a circuit labeled something entirely different. Test the ones in the bedroom (if that's where they are) too. I posted a photo of the bedroom layout in the 02 Windsor that I had owned. Sounds like it may be different than what Jim has in his Windsor, not surprised.
  5. Doesn't matter whether the slides are in or out as to the imbalance of weight. It has to do with the actual weight of each slide. The bigger the slide the more weight it has. It's rare to have a 1000 lb. imbalance but I have seen posts from at least one other member here that experienced the same imbalance. My 02 Windsor had a 200 lb. difference on the front steer axle and an 80 lb. difference on the rear drive axle. I haven't had time to weigh the 06 Dynasty as yet but that is one of my priority jobs this winter once back home. Mine is set at 40 psi for now but may get adjusted once I have my corner weights in hand. You can try to lower the tag psi to see if it helps at all. One poster suggested 4 psi. Otherwise, when looking at your figures you are still within specs on all axles. How does the coach drive and handle especially in the wind?
  6. Haven't seen a post from him as to what his tag psi is set to currently.
  7. Cummins shop has chrome ones for about $15. Or check with any chrome shop.
  8. Your best bet is to crawl underneath the coach and retrieve the number off of the box you have. Monaco has been known to install different boxes on the same model coaches for whatever reason.
  9. That looks like a Ramco mirror. Call their technical service people and they will have the answer for you. Matt Reverman is the person I had talked to but that was many years ago when I converted the mirrors on the Windsor from Velvac to Ramco. (574) 266-1455 ramco-eng.com
  10. I use my TV remote to stop my Samsung TV. No switch involved. TIC 😇
  11. You didn't post what tag pressure you are currently running at. The rear duals act as a pivot when adjusting tag axle bag psi. If the tag psi is too high it puts more weight onto the front axle. Check your tag psi and repost. If the tag axle bag psi is close than the only way to reduce the front axle weight is to move stuff to the rear.
  12. Will you have to remove the black & grey tanks before removing the fresh water tank? On my coach, those are sitting over the fresh tank but on a small platform.
  13. You didn't state what year of the Ford Edge you saw being towed 4 down. According to Ford, model years 2017 and earlier are safe to flat tow. However, from 2018 and newer they are not.
  14. Cummins may only have one filter listed for the engine. In many cases, Roadmaster Chassis added a secondary filter after the engine was installed in the chassis. So, the information that Cummins may have can be different than what the Monaco manual states.
  15. Start checking chassis fuses located in your FRB aka Front Run Bay. Check each one with a continuity meter set to tone. Check ALL of them regardless of what they are labeled as it may be under a fuse with an entirely different name or function.
  16. Never been overly impressed with any Shurflo water pump.
  17. Let us know what your opinion is once your wife returns from her trip. Thanks!
  18. Tom, drilling into the cabinet is flirting with disaster except where there are locations where hinges are located. One member if you remember suffered the consequences of drilling in a location into the side of the cabinet. POOF, there went all of the system coolant. He had to purchase a new fridge. Drilling into any of the doors or drawer is a no brainer as there are no coolant lines to accidentally puncture.
  19. Jim, What made you decide to use this method versus many other proven ones? The Samsung RF-197 fridge that was installed in the Windsor back in 2012 uses a 14-inch Velcro strap to hold the French doors locked. The installer used two 3 lb. Southco RV drawer/door latches that are typically used in the 02 Windsor on each door, but I hated the way I had to tug to open and push hard to close. So, I removed those latches and went with the Velcro strap. They used a very unique locking system for the freezer drawer. It is simply a L bracket screwed to the face of the fridge where the door hinge hardware is located so it was a very safe place to drill in to. Then a small hole in the top of the freezer drawer which is also a safe bet. You simply place the pin in through the L bracket and into the hole. Locked solid. With our Dynasty, I didn't have a choice as the Samsung RF-197 already had a locking system on the fridge when I purchased the coach. It uses two Sugatsune latches. Each main body is mounted to the face of the freezer drawer under each of the doors with the receiving latch on the underside of each French door. Works find and is a really strong positive lock. Amazon.com: Sugatsune, Lamp HC-85/S Catches and Latches, 304 Stainless Steel, Brass, Satin : Industrial & Scientific I have attached photos of the system in the Windsor and the Dynasty.
  20. Do not walk but RUN form this place as they are going to drain your savings account as quickly as you sign on the bottom-line.
  21. Check with Tractor Supply to see if they can fill a motorhome easily. They are only a few blocks away from the Balloon Fiesta entrance. Tractor Supply Albuquerque, NM Store | Shop for Pet, Farm Supplies and More!
  22. You get what you pay for! Hopefully it was FREE, what else can we say.
  23. Purging is only required on brand new tanks. Filling can be done at any propane station that has easy access for your coach.
