  1. Good to know that you resolved your water pump problem!
  2. 3000 watts of usable power isn't even close to the 8000Kw-10,000Kw of power needed to run a 2007 Monaco Executive or Dynasty unless you are just interested in using it for VERY limited power. Once AC will use 1800 watts of power leaving you with 1200 watts to use for ancillary purposes. Do the math before investing in the Predator 3500.
  3. You don't want to split any wire. You want to wire the foot switch as Frank suggested, in "parallel". That will allow you to use either to turn on the engine brake. The foot switch should be a momentary one wired to be default off, then on when pressed. The dash switch is a simple off/on switch.
  4. It is my understanding that the Park Brake is on the rear dually wheels with springs which require a specific air pressure in the air brake system to release the Park Brake. Are you saying that your coach is different?
  5. Mike, my 06 Dynasty has front dics brakes with 100+K on them with lots of brake pad left. RV owners seldom need to replace pads or shoes, however the noise could be another issue that if it is concerning I would have it checked. We're you driving in a lot of rain?
  6. I have three different wheels on my 06 Dynasty, front outside polished chrome, rear outside dually polished chrome and an inner painted steel rim. I would recommend only carrying the rubber and NOT a rim as you won't know what wheel that tire will need to be used on in an emergency.
  7. The Magnum opus is no longer available. However, you can still purchase a Dometic Sealand Concerto full porcelain electric toilet I believe. They won't be available that much longer as they are on clearance at Camping World. SeaLand Concerto All-Ceramic Toilet, White | Camping World
  8. Last evening, I was watching Tucker Carlson Tonight who had a segment on this very topic. Whether the shortage is real or not it is certainly a VERY scary thought especially if it does happen in less than one month. The entire country will come to a halt as millions of commercial truckers will no longer be able to deliver the products that US consumers rely on every day. Tucker Carlson: The US is about to run out of diesel fuel - YouTube
  9. In Flagler Beach, regular was $3.29 and diesel was $5.29 last time I checked.
  10. Plenty of diesel in Florida. No problems finding diesel 2 weeks ago driving from New Hampshire to Florida.
  11. Chuck, big differencs between winterizing a standard RV hot water system and an Aqua-Hot system. The Aqua-Hot has multiple loops of a copper coil either on the outside or the inside of the boiler tank. Using just air for winterizing an Aqua-Hot is not recommended by the company in Colorado. It would be very difficult to remove all of the water from all of those loops with just air. Very expensive to replace a leaking Aqua-Hot system that ruptured because of water remaining in the loops during the winter. If you don't want to winterize an Aqua-Hot properly then your next best bet is to head south for the winter where the temperature seldom gets to the freezing level.
  12. The one that was installed in my previous Windsor was exactly like what this Amazon link shows. https://tinyurl.com/yuvmnv9r Our current Dynasty doesn't have a freshwater Gravity Fill option.
  13. That means that either the coach is leaning to the driver's side, or they installed the gravity fill opening too low.
  14. No maintenance whatsoever on that overflow water line.
  15. Well now I am TOTALLY confused! I never seen a drain line coming out of the TOP of a freshwater tank unless I am misunderstanding the photo that you posted. The very first photo that you posted with the RED arrow certainly appears to be the top of your freshwater tank and not the bottom. Plus, I don't see any shutoff valve in the photo. One of us is confused!
  16. I finally counted how many I would need of each side. I need 9 for the left side of the coach and 11 for the right side of the coach. Thanks!
  17. I stand by my original thought. Once the tank is full the excess water will flow out the top through that line and down to the ground. The end of the tube has a rubber bug protector which will keep Mud Daubers from building a nest inside the tube. If that were to happen, it would prevent the tube from breathing allowing air to escape as you fill the tank plus allow the water to flow out of the tank. You didn't post a photo of what you are calling the freshwater tank overflow line.
  18. Must be ether the installation tech was colorblind, or they may have run out of Blue PEX for the backflush water system. 😇
  19. First question - line coming out of the top of the white freshwater tank is your overflow line. it allows excess water to flow out when you overfill the tank. Second question - the line feeding the black water tank is your Black Water Tank Back Flushing System. There should be a location in your service bay where you can hook a hose up and back flush the black water tank. Can't help you with your disconnect question. The last photo shows what is typically called a Vacuum Backflow Valve. Not sure why it would be hooked to HOT water (red pex). They are typically used for the Black Tank Back Flush System.
  20. Nope, haven't done any troubleshooting as yet. This winter I will have time to pull the steering wheel and test the ends of the clock-spring to make sure that it has continuity on each of the four wires.
  21. I would be interested in obtaining some left and right ones also. Below is a link to the Winnebago Parts catalog where on page 136 it shows the two part numbers for the right and left hand Weep Hole Covers. APPLIANCES 07:APPLIANCES 03 (winnebagoparts.com) However, when you do a search for the part number it comes up with nothing.
  22. Garland, That has happened to me only once with our NTU 2006 Dynasty when I went to retract the front dropdown floor-level driver's side slide while it was sitting in my driveway. This was shortly after getting it home from Salt Lake City where we had just purchased the coach. I was shocked to say the least and immediately stopped and reversed the slide back out completely. Then went outside to inspect the complete exterior and went back inside and inspected the entire inside. Couldn't find anything that would have made that happen. I then hit the hydraulic button again watching the slide carefully and the slide came in normally. That slide has been in and out numerous times ever since that day early in March and has never happened again. However, I am diligent in observing the slide movement whenever I am retracting that specific slide. The two slides in the rear are your standard flat straight sliding slide which are also hydraulic and have never had any problems with them going in or out.
  23. just received the stems in the mail yesterday. Won't be installing the ones on the tag axle until I have the steer tires installed this winter sometime. I will post a photo once they are installed. As stated above, the dually stems won't be installed until early next year during the winter here in Florida. Once installed I will post a photo for you or maybe someone else that already has a set of dually stems installed will post a photo for you.
  24. Tom, I am not experiencing any abrupt transmission down shifting when using the engine brake. To reiterate what I am experiencing, if the speed of my coach is 64 mph or higher then the engine brake is not so effective as it is when the speed of the coach is at 63 mph or lower. If I happen to be traveling down a grade at a speed higher than 63 I don't feel much of a speed change even with the engine brake set to high. However, once the speed of the coach reaches 63 mph there is a VERY definite change in the amount of braking at the high setting plus I can hear a change in the sound of the engine.
