  1. That part number states that it is Designed for Onan Marquis Generators: HGJAB, HGJAC, HGJAA His generator is an Onan QD model HDKAJ, 7500 watts
  2. Here are two sources. Low Priced RV LED Lighting - LED RV Lighting LED Fluorescent Tube Replacements (marinebeam.com)
  3. I try not to drive during winter weather. One early May on our way to Alaska we encountered a snow storm as we climbed elevation after leaving Haines Junction heading to Kulane Lake. Had 6 inches of snow on the road and no where safe to pull off. Towing a 30 foot trailer too. Luckily after about 50 miles we eventually drove out of it. However, if there happened to be a downgrade I would not have been able to stop or even slow down using the brakes in fear of the trailer jack-knifing. Thank God there wasn't any. Bottom line, I will do anything to avoid driving in snow ever again. It was the most nerve-wracking experience while driving my coach.
  4. Rome Truck Parts is where I got parts for my 2006 Dynasty wiper assembly. A quick search would have brought up 44 posts on wiper parts.
  5. Many vendor options listed in the Monaco Parts List. I am posting this on my phone and the list is on my laptop. Sorry.
  6. Until you can replace the dip stick, pour oil in until the error code goes away.
  7. Doug, What you should do is to spray PB Blaster into the arm at the base a number of times over the course of a day or two. While you are doing that, take the bolt that you removed and go to the local hardware store and purchase a 6 inch long one with the same threads and diameter. Once the PB Blaster has done its job, screw the 6-inch bolt all the way into the bottom of the base until it stops. Then take a small hand sledge and tap upwards on the head of the bolt while another person is holding the plastic mirror head. It will pop right out of the base. Then you have to disconnect the harness connectors. Now comes the hard part. That remaining connector may not go through the openings in the coach, etc. You may have to disassemble the connector. It should be a two-piece connector. Now you can remove the mirror head and arm. Then remove the plastic cover that goes over the actual base. The metal base is attached to the curved sides of the coach and should be secured with four bolts two of which you can see in the one photo. Possibly the other two could be lag bolts.
  8. You need to re-read my previous post made on the 5th at 1:08 pm.
  9. That is a Latching Solenoid. To bypass connect all of the LARGE red wires on each side of the Solenoid together effectively bypassing the Solenoid. You'd be hard pressed to find two Monaco coaches alike.
  10. Bill, The solenoid in the photo you just posted is your Battery Isolator which will combine your house and chassis batteries together. That can be replaced with a Blue Seas ML-ACR Device and you will never have anymore problems with that one. In addition, I observe two BIG problems in that last photo you posted. You have BEP Battery Cutoff Switches which are a major accident waiting to happen. You may discover your coach on fire from one of those switches. I suggest you search this forum to see what a failed BEP Switch looks like inside. It will give you nightmares!
  11. Are we talking all 120 VAC or 12 VDC. Big difference as to where to start troubleshooting. Salesman switch controls 12 VDC.
  12. Technically I really don't know but a call to Essex would get you the most direct answer. I am guessing that they made the keypad more resistant to the Sun and UV. The older touch pad KE-1601 that is on my previous Windsor is not shaded or recessed like the newer model KE-1701BH.
  13. Greg, It was the Essex Company located in Carpinteria, CA. I called them directly first then they gave me the company in southern CA to order the new keypad.
  14. Put 12 VDC onto the solenoid to see if it even works. Generally, when the ice maker cycles it will eventually give a command to the water solenoid to open up letting a specific amount of water to enter the tube going to the ice maker tray.
  15. I am assuming that you would use the generator in combination with a fairly hefty battery charger to keep your 8 house batteries charged plus use the items listed above while having your Inverter on. Is that correct? Or do you plan to hook the shore power cord directly to the generator?
  16. Is the in-line water solenoid working when the ice maker calls for water to be dispensed?
  17. Good to know that you resolved your water pump problem!
  18. 3000 watts of usable power isn't even close to the 8000Kw-10,000Kw of power needed to run a 2007 Monaco Executive or Dynasty unless you are just interested in using it for VERY limited power. Once AC will use 1800 watts of power leaving you with 1200 watts to use for ancillary purposes. Do the math before investing in the Predator 3500.
  19. You don't want to split any wire. You want to wire the foot switch as Frank suggested, in "parallel". That will allow you to use either to turn on the engine brake. The foot switch should be a momentary one wired to be default off, then on when pressed. The dash switch is a simple off/on switch.
  20. It is my understanding that the Park Brake is on the rear dually wheels with springs which require a specific air pressure in the air brake system to release the Park Brake. Are you saying that your coach is different?
  21. Mike, my 06 Dynasty has front dics brakes with 100+K on them with lots of brake pad left. RV owners seldom need to replace pads or shoes, however the noise could be another issue that if it is concerning I would have it checked. We're you driving in a lot of rain?
  22. I have three different wheels on my 06 Dynasty, front outside polished chrome, rear outside dually polished chrome and an inner painted steel rim. I would recommend only carrying the rubber and NOT a rim as you won't know what wheel that tire will need to be used on in an emergency.
  23. The Magnum opus is no longer available. However, you can still purchase a Dometic Sealand Concerto full porcelain electric toilet I believe. They won't be available that much longer as they are on clearance at Camping World. SeaLand Concerto All-Ceramic Toilet, White | Camping World
  24. Last evening, I was watching Tucker Carlson Tonight who had a segment on this very topic. Whether the shortage is real or not it is certainly a VERY scary thought especially if it does happen in less than one month. The entire country will come to a halt as millions of commercial truckers will no longer be able to deliver the products that US consumers rely on every day.
