  1. My guess is that your HWH Air Leveling Compressor has failed or is inoperative due to some other device in the leveling system. My HWH compressor had failed many years ago, then in 2019, I decided to rebuild the system with a new Viar Compressor plus relocate it to a protected area so it would not fail again. Here is a link to my post on the rebuilding process and relocation.
  2. Steve, may I ask how you ran the 35-foot antenna extension out of the driver's cockpit arear to the rear and where did you attach the antenna bracket? I haven't gotten back to this project as work has gotten in my way. Gary, Pressure Pro sells two different TPMS systems. One is called Pressure Pro Pulse which is what I purchased, and the other is called Pressure Pro Pulse FX which is what Bill is using. Pressure Pro Pulse comes with its own monitor whereas the Pressure Pro Pulse FX only comes with a Bluetooth Receiver, no display. That receiver is placed inside the coach where hopefully ALL of the signals from the tires are received with good strength. But you must use your Bluetooth smartphone for the display. I like to use my phone as a PHONE and not have to doing 3-4 different functions while traveling with my coach. That's why I chose the Pressure Pro Pulse TPMS.
  3. I think it is a long section of PTFE. Don't know if it is replaceable but Chris T of Talin RV would know.
  4. A good muffler shop will have all different size pipes in a variety of lengths plus the equipment to bend the pipes in the areas needed to match what you have now. The chrome tips are available from a Cummins shop or any good chrome shop.
  5. Thats exactly how I use my I-Pass. Had to drive to Orlando International Airport twice with my car when my wife went to Thailand for a couple of months this winter. The toll pass worked great each time. Will use it in our coach while towing the car on our way north to New Hampshire this coming May.
  6. Not really. I had to change out the floor flange for one that fit the Magnum Opus versus the Thetford one which was thicker in height. When I sat the Magnum Opus toilet on the Thetford flange, the base would not touch the floor. I had to cut off the floor flange using a Dremel cutting wheel from the inside. Then I purchased a new floor flange that would fit over the remaining pipe and glued it in place. Once that was done the rest was easy as the water and 12 VDC were already there from the Thetford.
  7. Glad that you were able to put together a simple solution to your problem. Good job! The factory installed Thetford Aria Toilet that came with my previous Windsor coach according to the original owner had to be replaced under warranty 3 times prior to purchasing the coach from them in 2003. The third install was the Aria II. In the next 7 years I had to replace the valve slide/motor mechanism three different times. Removing the toilet each time to do that got REAL old after the third time. Plus, every time we used the toilet it sounded like a farmer's thrashing machine. So, in my opinion they are only good for ONE thing, a boat anchor. Purchased a Seland Magnum Opus in 2010 and installed that before leaving for Alaska. That toilet has worked flawlessly for the following 12 years and is still working great for the new owners of my Windsor.
  8. One more project to check off the list. Won't see you at the Gathering this year. We cannot attend due as I had to go back to work this winter just to pay the bills. The present economy has taken most of my retirement savings, so a significant amount has now vanished into thin air. Once Dumb and Dumber are gone hopefully I won't have to work and will be able to attend the 2024 Gathering if we even have one.
  9. I had mine replaced on my previous Windsor by Action Mobile Truck Service in Orlando FL for about $1500 back in March of 2020. Frankly, if you or someone you are having do the job, replace both at the same time. Why go in there again later and do it all over again.
  10. I didn't have one for the 02 Windsor and overtime, 18+ years of ownership, the dash sustained nicks, scratches, etc. My current 06 Dynasty came with a gorgeous grey dash cover and now that I now own one, I should have purchased one for the Windsor shortly after buying it back in 2003. JMHO
  11. People previously are correct, they are bay door switches. Plus, on some coaches they are also interlocks for the slides above the doors.
  12. Bob, Great information and photo. Did you mean to post the part numbers for the parts and forgot? That would help out numerous members who have posted on this thread including me.
  13. Bob, The secondary fuel filter on my ISL-400 is the ONLY reason for thinking about installing the FASS fuel polishing system. If I have to continue to change out the secondary filter I might as well stick with what I have now.
  14. I looked up on the I-Pass website this morning to see exactly what I paid last May to cross that bridge with 5 axles, 3 for the coach and 2 for the car. it was $14.25 for the one-way crossing. They don't charge going east to west.
  15. I have added a series of photos that I had saved from some other RVer who had done this previously. I also added photos of the LED lamps I had purchased from Fry's Electronics when I was living in CA. You have to be careful when disassembling the switch so not to break the little clips holding the rocker cover onto the body. Plus, I chose to add the resistor to the wiring harness instead of inside the switch body. I also tried various levels of resistors to see which one I liked for lamp brightness. The switch in my previous Windsor had four wires. There are only two functions of the Aqua-Hot diesel switch. One is to turn on the Webasto system, two wires, and the other is to light up a lamp to indicate whether the system is in active mode or has defaulted, two wires. When the system defaults the indicator lamp turns off.
  16. I use that bridge to cross the Hudson each year on our way to Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire. I have the I-pass and if I remember correctly it costs about $10 to cross with 5 axles.
  17. Check with Northwest RV Supply. I got tired of replacing them so I removed the blown incandescent lamp and replaced it with an LED lamp. Then added a resistor to lower the voltage.
  18. Jim, thanks for the explanation. The reason this thread was important to me is because the secondary filter on the ISL-400 that I now have in my Dynasty is basically way TOO difficult to reach by any normal human without getting drenched in diesel fuel and also not being able to see what you are doing. I haven't changed the filters yet, but they will be due later this spring. I am NOT going to do it myself and will gladly pay a service shop to do my engine service this year. If by installing the two filter FASS Fuel Polishing System will totally eliminate the unreachable secondary filter, then that would accomplish my goal. The primary is VERY accessible so that could stay possibly. I am more interested in eliminating the secondary fuel filter.
  19. I assume that you rerouted the fuel hoses that went to the original primary and secondary fuel filters eliminating those two locations, is that correct?
  20. As Bill suggested it could be your Clock-spring inside the steering wheel cover OR it could be the VIP Control Module.
  21. So are the two factory filters that came with the engine completely bypassed and blocked off from the fuel delivery system?
  22. Gary, You need to post exactly what devices you are referring to, make and model numbers. Then we can post a better answer to your question as people call some devices generically "surge guard's" when actually they may be totally different and compatible. Here is my experience. My 06 Dynasty original came with a Surge Guard model that talked with the Aladdin System which is now obsolete. The replacement model Surge Guard is 40450 which does talk with the Aladdin System is very expensive. The previous owner replaced the original transfer switch with a cheaper Surge Guard before I purchased it last year. The model that is in my coach now is Surge Guard 41260 with limited shore power protection. So, instead of changing out a perfectly good transfer switch, I installed the Progressive Industries EMS-HW-50C in front of the Surge Guard. I now have total shore power protection plus additional protection from the Surge Guard Transfer Switch. Works perfectly without any problems.
