  1. Les, Sounds like your DayNight Blinds you are speaking about are electric, not the typical manual ones that most of us have. What company did you determine is the supplier/manufacturer? The most common one is MCD but yours may also be SOB. Knowing the make and model would possibly help in getting you a fix.
  2. Mike, It just dawned on me that the wires from the switch go over to the Magnum Opus Toilet that had a control board with harness connectors. The power was at the toilet and utilized the control board to manage what functions the toilet needed to do depending on which direction you pushed the switch. That's why those wires are "dead". Plus, you can use the toggle switches on the control board to do some other functions. Too bad that the previous owner removed the Magnum Opus toilet and installed a mechanical one. The Magnum Opus toilet is one of the best used in the RV industry. I would have at the minimum installed the Sealand Concerto toilet which is one model below the Magnum Opus.
  3. Mike, here is a photo of the Flushing Switch that was mounted in that space on the vanity cabinet. It had two functions, one to add more water to the bowl and one to flush the toilet. Three wires to the switch seems logical to me. Just don't know how they are wired, that's all.
  4. Thank you, Ivan, Martin and Bill, for explaining about Balance Masters and Centramatics for Ed F. I went with Balance Masters as that is what Barry at Josam's recommended and installed for me on both the Windsor and my Dynasty. I respect Barry's opinion and knowledge; I consider him to be one of the industries experts seeing that he manages one of the BEST chassis service centers in the country.
  5. Mike, I forgot about those spacers! There is no way that the beads could get trapped behind the bands. Once my bands were installed by Josam's last year I have never given them a second thought while driving other than to know they are working in the background just in case of a sudden front tire blowout.
  6. There is an opening in the Tyron Bands where the two ends are connected together that would allow for any beads that happen to get under the bands to fall out once the tire starts to rotate after being at rest. The beads are not distributed completely until the speed of the vehicle gets to about 25-35 mph. Taken from the Innovative Balancing Website. - "The balancing principle is based on centrifugal force, and enough force is developed to keep the beads in position at approximately 25 - 35 MPH, but the exact speed is dependent upon tire diameter."
  7. Since LPG gas drops to the floor, the chances of you smelling it before the detector does is slim to none. Turn off the main shut off valve on your tank, then see if the detector stops alarming. If it continues to alarm after days or weeks with the main valve turned off then your detector is probably faulty. Is it possible that your batteries are off gassing and the detector is smelling that gas?
  8. Is it alarming or just giving a series of beeps? Big difference between the two as to what the remedy would be.
  9. Mike, your Dynasty never came with a macerator toilet to my knowledge. The standard toilet for the Dynasty was the Sealand Magnum Opus Toilet. I think the fuse for the switch on the vanity cabinet is located in the Multiplex cabinet on the driver's side in the bedroom. Try looking in there.
  10. The correct TRC Surge Guard Transfer Switch that does talk with the Alladin System is the 40450RVC3 model. The previous owner of my Dynasty had chintzed out when the original TRC Surge Guard Transfer Switch model 40250 crapped out. He replaced it with a 41260 that doesn't talk to the Alladin System. I decided to leave the 41260 in place and install the Progressive Industries EMS-HW-50C in front of the transfer switch that has FULL power protection like the 40450RVC3 transfer switch. The Intellitec EMS system that I plan to install with its display will monitor the generator amp usage when in use.
  11. A quick call to the techs at SilverLeaf in OR will get you the specific answers to your questions. They are a great group of guys who are very knowledgeable about all of their products and very willing to help.
  12. We have been on Utah Scenic 12 with our car. Wouldn't do it with the coach. We drove it from Red Canyon RV Park where we were staged for visiting the area all the way to Hogsback and back. We took in various state parks and scenic stops along the way. Bryce Canyon is one of our favorite NP's in Utah.
  13. Sounds like you have a failed or missing check valve. Time to trace the water lines to see what you have currently plus what you will need to deal with to correct this problem
  14. There is an extensive wiring diagram for the 2006 Monaco Dynasty on this site that you can download to your PC. Link below. My guess is that it will show you exactly which relay you are looking for.
  15. Here are the bottom photos of the Guardian Plates I had installed this past week. The first two are of the large roadside salon flush-floor slied. The second two are of the roadside closet slide in the bedroom.
  16. The folks at Talin RV recommend using Propanol for cleaning the Guardian Plates. Acetone is risky especially around places that are painted. They also strongly stated to NOT use ANY chrome polish on the plates as it will remove the shiny surface coating from the plates.
  17. As Tom Cherry stated you will need to get an estimate based on the size and style of the plates you need for your specific slide(s). The plates for any dropdown flush floor slide will be the most expensive versus the ones for a small standard floor slide like my roadside closet slide. Plus, if you have inverted slide rollers like I had in the Windsor with the PBT Kitchen Slide, that would be a completely different cost. Here is the cost for the two plates and installation: $560 for the flush floor plates and $682 to install. $375 for the small closet raised floor slide plates and $265 to install. Frankly, their professional installation is well worth the cost in my opinion as they had jacks to raise the slide when needed, grinders to prepare the site for the plates, chemical to prep the site and to clean the plates, many SS pop rivets to secure the plates in place while the 3M cures, and various equipment to get the job done right. So sorry, I forgot to take photos of the bottoms of the plates. I will do that today and repost those photos. The black tape at the outer ends of each plate is EternaBond Tape. That is installed there to prevent ANY possibility of moisture entering through that corner. I had the choice of white or black, I chose black as white will show marks once you run the slide in and out a few times. Yes, you have to wait a period of time to let the 3M sealant/adhesive cure prior to using the slide. That's why your appointment for any Guardian Plate installation at their facility will be for a few days versus in and out in one day. They installed the plates on the flush-floor slide on Wednesday and installed the small raised-floor slide plates on Thursday. We did a slide inspection on Friday morning running the slides in and out to make sure there were no problems. Then we left around 10 am. We spent one day, Thursday, visiting the Gulf side of Florida and doing some shopping in the area. Not impressed with the Gulf as it looks like one big lake versus the surf we get on the Atlantic side.
  18. I have the 38 gallon LPG tank next to my fuel tank and it is nearly full. However, there is nothing left in my coach that uses propane. Someone replaced the NotSoCold with a Samsung RF-197 and the 2 burner cooktop has been replaced with a Tru-Induction cooktop. The coach has an Aqua-Hot so no propane heater either. However, it will stay as I don't need more storage plus someday I may install a passenger side LPG hookup attachment in order to use devices like a grill or griddle or even a LPG campfire where burning wood is prohibited.
  19. I spent the last few days at Tailin RV & Stone Vos Inc shops having my roadside slides fitted with Guardian Plates. The previous owners did not maintain the corners and the bottom of those two slides very well. In fact, the large salon slide had some very thin SS covering the bottom ends that were partially glued on with two screws at each end to hold it in place. Luckily, they both came off easily. One end of my rear closet slide had the thin covering the bottom separating from the plywood base. For those two reasons, I decided to have the Guardian Plates installed so I will never have to worry about them ever again. Photos attached. While there, I discovered some additional work that will need to be done next winter when we return to Florida. Two small sections of the bottom beltline will need to be repaired and the double bulb flip seal around the large salon slide will need to be replaced. I also talked with Ingrid, the owner of Stone Vos Inc about making tire covers for the Dynasty and replacing the topper over the large roadside slide. Both places, Talin RV and Stone Vos Inc. are my go-to places for having the BEST products and the very BEST technical service and installations. I don't waste my time with other shops when I have the very best only a 3-hour drive from my winter residence.
  20. Chuck, The PO is me who had owned the Windsor for well over 18 years before selling the coach in April of 2022. The Back Flush system was only on the Black Tank, which is on the right side, smaller tank in the photo. I designed and installed the second Back Flush valve on the Grey Tank, larger tank on the left. Since the original Black Tank flushing worked so well, I chose to install the Grey Tank one in the same location. My current Dynasty has the Black Tank Flush Valve on the top so that's where I plan to install the Grey Tank Flush Valve when I get to that project.
  21. Rome Truck Parts in Rome GA is also a good supplier of wiper parts. They had the wiper crank arm that I needed for my 06 Dynasty.
  22. Would a Magnum Battery Monitor Kit (if installed) give a more accurate reading of the House battery bank at the remote?
  23. When opening the bay door to where all of my tanks are located and where the Aqua-Hot has been installed too, I have often wondered why there was this extra Blue Pex line plumbed into the Back Flush Pex line that comes from the Vacuum/Back-Flow valve located under the kitchen counter. Now I know why!
  24. In preparation of driving over to Talin RV to have Guardian Plates installed on my two roadside slides, I had started up the Aqua-Hot yesterday and turned on my Samsung fridge this morning. I went to test the hot water so I turned on the water pump but had very little pressure at the kitchen sink PLUS I could hear the pump running flat out fast. I quickly turned off the pump and went outside to investigate. As it turns out, I had inadvertently left the Black Tank Backflush valve in the on position when I had dumped the tanks a few weeks back. So that's why the pump was running flat out on high speed. I had no idea that you could flush the Black Tank with just the water pump when not hooked to shore water. My Windsor was not plumbed like that. A future project on my to-do list is to install a Back Flush Kit to my Grey Tank which is adjacent to my Black Tank with a three-way valve so I can choose which tank I want to back flush anytime I want. I installed exactly the same thing in my Windsor after I had to deal with a clogged grey tank dump valve that was choked up with a bunch of black slimy greasy crap that had accumulated on the sides of the tank over many years of use. Photo is from my previous Windsor.
