  1. If you have a GFCI CIRCUIT BREAKER in your main electrical panel, (breaker box), there is no need for individual GFCI receptacles because a GFCI CIRCUIT BREAKER provides protection to an entire circuit, including the wiring and all devices and appliances connected to the circuit.

  3. Joe Testing showed what I thought was black mold in my ceiling material was "diesel exhaust residue". It was the result of a poorly insalled/improperly sealed joint between the rear fiberglass cap and the floor of the coach, (not by moisture)
  4. Joe Are you positive that the "black" is harmful? https://titaniumlaboratories.com/do-it-yourself-mold-test-kit-swab-news-12/ Have you had it tested?
  5. Ken Parsons Distant Network Service (DNS) from DirecTV, (855-774-3477 ), enables you to receive ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC channels from New York or Los Angeles. If your main residence is qualified to receive Los Angeles/New York stations, you can also receive them in your RV, car or boat. If your main residence doesn’t qualify for DNS, you may submit qualifying paperwork, (a completed Mobile Vehicle Declaration of Intent form AND a photocopy of your vehicle registration) , to obtain the DirecTV DNS channels in your RV. 8. Dennis In 2014, when I had 6 then 3 year old sidewall cracked Michelin tires replaced by Michelin Customer Care "under warrenty", they sent me to 2 different nearby "Michelin approved" sellers for a quote. One was Southside Tire, (in Schofield WI), who quoted me $2800.00 The other, (Pomp's tire in Rothschild WI), charged me $854.28.... ($794.28 for the replacement tires & $60.00 for new valve stems)
  9. Dennis Michelin tires are covered by the Michelin Customer Service warranty....(not by the seller/installer). https://guide.michelin.com/us/en/contact-us
  10. Dennis & Dave Often Sam's Club sells Michelin tires for a lower price than the FMCA tire replacement program prices. https://www.samsclub.com/c/tire-search/1056?mid=hp_mte_191218_tires&xid=hpg_headerGrid_12_3

  13. BEFORE traveling to, (or being towed to), a service shop recommended by Coachnet, (or any other roadside assistant company), get a phone number and call the service shop. When I had fridge problem while on the road near Erie PA, I was sent 50 miles to a TT manufacture who used Norcold RV refrigerators but did not service/repair them. When I had an engine problem in Indiana, Coachnet was going to tow me back to Altorfer CAT , in Urbana, Illinois , who did not work on motorhomes at their Urbana shop.

  16. The actual "switching" is done in the "salesman solenoid"..... (That solenoid is remotely activated/triggered by a small switch near the entry door). "SALESMAN" SOLENOID ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unless your coach has a "mechanical salesman switch": MECHANICAL SALESMAN SWITCH

  18. Neil Loveless Someone on safarifriens.org will have the correct part number for that sealed beam light. BTW you can slightly enlarge the opening in the chrome ring to fit one of those "bulbs of similar size", (with a Dremal tool)
  19. Joel S Joe S Because they are paying a >$9k loss methinks your insurance company will investigate/find the cause.
  20. Woody I've had "badyears" that lasted 9 "goodyears"..... (and Michelins that lasted ONLY 3 )
  21. George C IMO neither tire covers or 303 Aerospace Protectant can/will prevent any tire "prone to premature sidewall cracking" from cracking to the point of being useless/unsafe. All 6 of my 2011 Michelin tires developed sidewall cracks in 2014: They where replaced under warranty by Michelin Customer Care I had to pay Pomp's Tire, Rothschild , WI, a total of $936.64, ($156.11 each)...$794.28 for the 6 replacement tires and $142.36 for 6 new valve stems. BTW the only other tire dealer near me "authorized by Michelin to do warranty work", (Southside Tire and Automotive Service, in Weston WI), had quoted me $2.800.00 ...($466.66 each).

  23. John F Perhaps your genset doesn't charge your chassis batteries...... (is yours supposed to)?? As built by SMC, (Safari Motor Coach), only the engine driven alternator in my coach charges the chassis batteries .
