  1. If your audio comes through the surround sound speakers and does not change when the TV changes, I'd think there may be some interesting wiring happening.  Can you take pics of the TV, stereo receiver that provides the sound and the BOMB box?   It's almost as if the cable hits a splitter of sorts that sends audio to the stereo and video to the TV. What, if any, wiring changes have you made since you bought it?  Where are you located?

  2. @Ray Davisnewer TVs seem to be much faster for the most part.  Like above, I usually let it search while doing others.  However, after Dish's last battle w Disney on game day a few months back, we dropped Dish and went w streaming and have been happy.  Local channels and not OTA searching.  Just need wifi, which is often our phones.  And we take a smart TV outside w no cables!

  3. My Dip only has hydraulic leveling and it's by Power Gear.  Mine has a recalibrate process.  Manually get the coach level using a carpenter's level and press a series of buttons to reset the calibration.  I found out after it tried to level automatically and picked the passenger side off the ground.  On a level spot...

I've manually leveled since that event, but did recalibrate.

  4. My coach has a Magnum inverter/charger.  By default,  when it first powers up, it goes to bulk charging.  The manual talks about the 3 stages of charging and what it takes to satisfy each before it changes stages.   I have a couple of thoughts here, but am not as experienced as a lot of people here.

When I first bought my coach, the PO kept it stored outside and turned off the battery switches with no charger going to them and it worked for them.  So, that's what I did for probably 6 to 12 months without issue.  Then I figured out I could use 110V, 20A and run my fridge and charger and keep the batteries charged in storage.  I only have a 110v receptacle there, so I plug in and dial my Magnum down to 5A max draw and press the selector to put on 20A.  I have no idea what the power bill is as the storage pays for it (and no complaints from me).  I could see this going bad if I lose power at the storage unit and didn't know.

Second, check your Magnum inverter settings and make sure they are correct for your batteries.  The inverter charges at different strengths dependent on the batteries you tell it that you have.  The PO had 2 12V marine batteries and when they went bad, I replaced w 4 6V AGM batteries and had to adjust the settings.  Previously I'd hear those batteries Bubbling at times and felt they were being charged too high.  Hope this helps.

  5. Vince,  here's a pic of my chassis setup.  I was waiting on my new house batteries at this time.  I noticed your 2 chassis batteries don't look the same.  I've always heard replace both w same brand, amperage, etc... could one of yours be bad?  However, I'm pretty certain my genny cranks from my house batteries and not the chassis ones.  I had to replace my dash generator start switch the other day bc it was failing.  Have you tried the batt boost switch?   When I had a bad house battery my genny wouldn't start, hold the boost switch for a minute w the chassis engine running and got it to fire up.

confirmed no charge from charger and no pass through power to circuits when on shore or generator power.  Failed Magnum 2012.  New one on order.

Curious as to if the new inverter solved the problem?

  7. Some my leaks: fittings at front air tank, park brake, and a $1 o ring at the air dryer. As above, many possibilities are there.  Mine now mostly holds for 24 hours but is always losing pressure when off.  Brake tests stay true. So I'm ok w that.
