  1. Did that. See point #4. I hit it pretty hard with a hammer several times.
  2. A few months ago I noticed my AH 600D front zone was blowing cool air. All other zones working properly. The unit was serviced about 12 months ago and had been working well for over three years. Serviced every year for past three years. No faults shown on control board. Indicator lights on and glowing green. I have the original circulation pumps and the pump for the front zone (circulation pump #3) is spinning, but a bit noisy. Couch side supply line feels cool to the touch before and after check valve, while other zone lines are warm. Tapped the check valve several times without success. Tried heating on 50 amp and diesel burner, no difference. Did re-set on five button CCC thermostat, but no change. Fluid level in AH expansion tank is good. I opened the outlet hose connection on the circulation pump, thinking it might be air locked. Fluid leaked out but was only a trickle. I swapped the engine preheat circulation pump with the front zone pump (circulation pump 3), thinking the pump was bad. Swapped pump spinning but still no heat. Anything else I can do before taking it to the dreaded RV dealer? 2008 Dynasty Squire
  3. I’ve used Dawn the last four years with good results. Then I sealed it with this product the last two years. Holds up very well. No more streaking.
  4. Okay. You should pull the fault code.
  5. Did you get the fault code? Your manual tells you how to get the fault code. I have a 10k genset too. Mine was surging. I replaced fuel and air filter to no avail. My fault code was 14 Over frequency. This generally means the governor actuator was failing. I pulled it out and checked resistance which showed 3.3, which is good. Plunger moved smoothly by hand and with 12v applied. I cleaned contacts and applied dielectric grease and reinstalled. It runs smoothly now, but I suspect it will surge again and I’ll replace the governor.
  6. Very nice. Does anyone know how to determine if your coach has had ceramic coatings applied? I’ve owned my coach three years and I bought it from the original owner. He didn’t tell me it was coated, but my coach still shines nice when clean. How long does a ceramic coating last?
  7. Hey Scotty, that looks very nice. If I understand your pics correctly, you replaced the old box Sanicon with the newer version. It looks like the waste drain exits under the coach and is permanently outside the wet bay...so all you do is attach your waste hose. Did you drill a hole in the floor? I have the old box Sanicon and it has worked well, but does the newer version perform better? You still have the grey water bypass right?
  8. We paid 4.09 a gallon at the TA in Coachella CA on Monday, before TSD discount. Now in Texas and we see diesel going for 2.85. Sadly I bought 110 gallons in CA.
  9. Thanks. I guess I should have known that. Lol.
  10. Hey guys this might be off topic, but I’m wondering if anyone has addressed this. We installed a new smart TV to replace the old power hog and ridiculously hot running OEM Sharp TV. The original speaker cables (see pic) have no ports in the new TV. Has anyone found a way to connect these cables to a smart TV, so that the surround sound speakers in the ceiling will operate?
  11. Yeah I not only put up my awnings in high winds, but we often pull in our bedroom slides at night to avoid the flapping noise from the slide topper.
  12. We love CA, but we’re from Michigan. No other state offers such beauty? Beaches, deserts, mountains, cities oh my. We will continue to visit as long as we can.
  13. I have one exactly like that one. Lol. Thanks for the offer, but mine is in good shape.
  14. Is the sound quality much improved over the Magnadyne? Where did you place the subwoofer?
  15. Somewhat unrelated to the topic, but important to Monaco owners. My coach was 10 years old when I bought it from original owner. I found the dryer vent as it exited the coach, wasn’t sealed or properly secured. While washing the coach, I found this. A good reason to wash your coach now and then. The plastic vent sits on untreated wood. Mine was rotted. I replaced what I could and sealed it well.
  16. Beautiful. Nice looking house too. I’m from Michigan and would rather see pictures of snow. I’ve lived in it too long.
  17. I would like a convection oven that is quieter. I wonder if they exist.
  18. What did you replace it with and was it difficult to install?
  19. Mine is the Sharp R-1874/75. Same dimensions. 29 15/16” W 16 11/32” H 15 9/32 D
  20. Looks like a nice unit. I’d like to know that too. My wife is not happy with the OEM Sharp unit. I’d like to replace, but fear installation will be too difficult.
  21. Ivan is right. You have to get the coach weighed and preferably get weights at each axle end. You then take the higher weight from each axle end and go to the tire chart from your tire manufacture to determine psi. I did this at the Escapees park in Florida after I had purchased my coach and had placed everything in the coach. My pressures are 115 fronts, 95 drives and 85 tag. Coach rides well. I suspect if you were to air all your tires to 100-110 your coach would not ride very nicely and you might be too low in front. I had service done at Cummins a couple years back and they wrongly air all my tires to max pressure. As soon as I got in the coach and drove a short distance I immediately knew what they did. The coach rode like a tank.
  22. I love my old 2008 vintage Sanicon. However, I had to take it apart every year and replace the propeller and clean it. Then it works very quickly.
