i would suspect your air conditioner. Try other devices and see if you can isolate it down to 1 thing shutting down the generator.

I had a similar issue a few years ago, but my lights would also randomly turn on AND off. Traced it down to the control board for the Intellitec system. From memory, I have model # 750, but I think it's printed on the boards itself, yours may be different. I talked to M & M several times about it. They are patient and will walk you through troubleshooting. One of the first questions they ask is 'do you have florescent lights', but I had already changed mine out to LED, so that wasn't the problem. Apparently florescent ballasts don't play well with the intellitec system.
After replacing that board, all was fine.

That is where mine is located, behind the closet sliding door.
Yep,
Heat build up in the entire closet area is bad for those electronics, shortening their lives. Lots of choices to minimize or reduce the heat, both here and on IRV2.

@brokenarrow1244 Yours's looks like it has substantial heat damage and discoloration.. Mine didn't have any of that, one of the reason's it took so long to diagnose.
In my case, the main panel, along with the intellitec is in the rear closet. It gets hot in there and I think that was the issue I was having..

Me too, sometimes the better half is opening up before I can get out of my seat. She's fast and I'm slow. I used to say let me get some stuff out of below first but I finally realized it's better if I just crawl under the slides to get stuff. Life is smoother when momma's happy.
LOL. Isn't that the truth. My wife did the same thing for years. Then one day, a guy pulled in next to us and as soon as the engine shut down, the drivers slides started going out. Well, the front slide clipped the CG electrical panel and it blew the transformer for the entire row, including ours. I've convinced my wife to let me do a good walk around before we start deploying. I take advantage of getting some items out of the basement then.

@Cushman_Ruth Did you ever get the blinking resolved? I had a similar problem, the EMS board would blink and interior lights would randomly go off and on, but it would only happen when I had a fairly heavy load, such as both roof airs running while on generator. It had a lot of people stumped for a year or so.
A new control board from M and M fixed that problem.
@Steve Hepfer Did M&M help you diagnose?

@welleking Wayne,
I've got the 40'PEQ and purchased it new. I believe we have the same floor plan. We have the Valid system, air only. Last fall we were driving in Colorado. I looked in my side mirror and saw the back of our RV going away from us. What?? Turns out it was @Bill R in his coach. He had just passed us. . We have the same exterior paint scheme.
When our coach was new, from ignorance, I would deploy the slides AFTER the coach was level. In extreme cases, when the site itself was out of level, I could really hear the front passenger slide binding. Almost like fingernails on chalk board. It wasn't pretty! But when I extended/retracted at ride height, that horrible scraping was never an issue. So I'm a firm believer to extend/retract at ride height. Manual also says to do it that way.
Many of the campgrounds we stay in are pretty level, concrete pads. In that case, like @Bill R mentions, I wouldn't worry about it.

Ben,
I've read about the tri-mark controller for the entrance door lock sometimes start clicking, but mine is located in compartment, next to the pax seat, not under the dash. I believe the fix for that is to re-boot it.

I'm planning on doing mine this year, but the paint is crazy expensive up here!
There are cheaper paints available, but the results I've seen, and read about with the Topside, may as well bite the bullet!
You only need a couple quarts to do 2 coats, as I recall. How expensive is it?
2 years ago, you couldn't get it shipped to California. I had a hard time finding it. Found some 'hidden' stock at Lowes and since I knew the manager there, they sold it to me. I think it was $10/quart back then. You can get it shipped to California now, but the price is $25/qt. USD.

Richard,
I do exact same thing with our Windsor. But it has the ISL, like your dynasty, with the 2 speed Jake, so the magic spot for it to shift into 6th, is about 62, and that's what I typically cruise at. I'm sure our overall weight is less than you dynasty, but I've averaged just over 8 mpg at that speed. If I slow down to 55, it downshifts into 5th.

Mike,
I upgraded my ceiling a few years ago. I don't have a lot of "bling", but have had lots of compliments. My roof air filters are easy to access and change and I wrapped the interior chase of the roof vents in wood. I'm not sure when Monaco raised the ceiling height on your coach model, but take that into your design if you do have the lower ceiling, fortunately, I have the higher ceilings.

Jim,
Looks like your looking for battery brand recommendations. I put in (4) 1300 Lion batteries, each at 105 amp hours (these are 12 volt batteries). They are nearly the same size as my old 6 volt batteries. I actually have room to add 2 more lion's, if/when I decide.
Costco offers them about 2-3 times a year on this particular battery (Not in their inventory continuously) I believe they have it going on right now, until the end of May. $1399 for 2. Not too bad a price. They do not have internal heaters. They should fit right into your battery tray. Just have to change out the cables and address the charging issues with engine alternator and inverter/charger.

I'm retired, but in my day, I've done 100's of corian/solid surface countertops. All the joints, edge details and undermount corian sinks were glued. Corian is a registered trademark of DuPont and DuPont made their installers use a proprietary 2 part epoxy if they wanted DuPont to warranty it. I never once saw a failure when the correct procedure/product was used, but the houses were not subjected to bouncing down the road either. The guy that did that repair either didn't prepare the surfaces correctly, or used the wrong product, or both. Back then, DuPont would not sell the epoxy to anyone except their network of installers.

Curious what Victron Inverter/Charger you went with that can handle 12.5 KW.
Go ahead and PM me, if you like. Not fair to OP to hijack this thread.

Andy,
You say this is a new issue and the "water pump leaks at the seam" now. Is there a chance you over pressurized the system from the city water hookup? Do you have a pressure regulator connected at the source? I've seen water pressures in excess of 100-110#'s, and that will damage these coaches. (houses too, for that matter)

I will look for a glass door shop and see what I can find. So far ,nothing has been found that will work as a replacement part.
It seems that the major retailers like Home Depot, and Lowe's have reduced the availability of more personalized services.
Yea, for something like that, HD or lowes are both worthless. Maybe try ACE or TrueValue, (or whomever in your community) but my suggestion of a shower door/glass shop, would be my 1st choice.

I think those Victron components, if like mine, only monitor the AC that goes through the Inverter. That is unless you rewired the whole coach such that all AC goes through the inverter (including roof A/Cs, Aquahot heaters, etc.).
-Rick N
Rick,
You're correct. You have to rewire pretty much everything. Not easy, quick or cheap. I did mine last year.
-
Yea, your right. What was I thinking. The 712 BMV only does the DC side. My other Victron components do the AC side.
-
check out Victron's 712 BMV. You can see information on it's display and it's bluetooth capable. It can also monitor battery temperature as well as engine start batteries.
I have it paired up with Victron's inverter, cerbo, display monitor, DC/DC charger and a MPPT solar controller.

If memory serve me well, you and I met six'ish years ago in Quartzite at one of the Monaco meetups!!
Please provide the name and or website of the place you refer to in the above posting?
Thanks
Yep, can't believe it was 6 years ago, but you're about right.
Their website is http://onextreme.com/

Very nice looking work. The new switch location sure makes a lot of sense. What color stain did you use to match the existing woodwork?
Thank you. Yes, it does make sense to relocate it. It's bothered me from day 1. The stain is custom color. I've been doing wood projects on this coach for several years. All my wood is cherry so I took a piece of non finished raw cherry, along with an existing cabinet door and had Sherwin Williams match it. Absolute perfect match. I wouldn't trust lowes or HD to do it. They just use their color scanning tool and their attitude is 'this is as good as it gets'. Now I have a quart of stain and when it gets low, I can call SW, and since they have the formula on file, they mix up a new quart.

Funny, I thought the same thing when the website automatically lowered the resolution of my pic.
Ben, I never thought of that. Usually this thing takes great shots. I know the lighting in that room was kinda poor. I thought it was the loose nut that was holding the phone.
-
thanks Harry.
That picture doesn't give it justice, it makes the wood looks blotchy. The finish is a perfect match, however.

Never confuse me with facts. 😄With over 50 years in electronics I am confident when I can take a small risk. Overheating leading to fire versus no overheating and fire.
Yeah I have a tiny modification and the best modification to keep that AC breaker panel in MY closet is actually insulating the water heater that is mounted directly below it.
I discovered how much heat that was contributing when repairing/modifying the water heater for a mixer valve and a few degrees more in heat.
The excess heat naturally rises right into that panel. No ventilation in the closet and the door is within a couple of inches of the face of the panel.
My panel is only slighthly warm to the touch in the hottest of days now.
The modification to the face plate was to simply install some tiny flat washers to allow air flow past the panel. Maybe 1/16 of an inch.
So right Myron!. I don't have the water heater anywhere near it. My issue is Monaco put a big Cummins heat sink right below it.
