  1. If the overflow jug keeps overflowing fluid, either the hot water loop or engine coolant loop that would be under pressure could be leaking fluid into the aquahot boiler. I'm not sure if those loops are internal or external to the boiler on your aquahot. On mine, both coils are internal to the boiler.
  2. By warning light I'm assuming you mean check engine light. Please post the history of both active and inactive check engine code numbers. If your mechanic is not using the Cummins Insite software and Cummins engine service manuals for troubleshooting your problem, it's time to find another mechanic.
  3. I have one more thought. If this is an intermittent problem and the coach pulls grades at full turbo boost and the engine is throwing no trouble codes you might have a sticking turbo electronic actuator. To find out, the next time you lose power keep your foot full on the accelerator to see if after about 15 seconds it will turn on the check engine light with a turbo electronic actuator code error. When going from no throttle to throttle, the VGT will rapidly cycle from the braking mode to pressure boost. If it sticks in the braking mode you get low fuel pressure, no boost pressure and no power. If this situation lasts for a short time, it will not turn on the check engine light and act like the engine temporarily lost power.
  4. When your mechanic is using the Cummins Insite software while driving the coach he will be able to see and record the engine computer commanded fuel pressure vs the actual fuel pressure. Is this what he did? Is this problem intermittent? Has your mechanic used the Insite software to command high fuel pressures while at idle and will the fuel pump meet the target pressures? If not, you likely have a fuel flow blockage, a failing fuel pump or a leaking fuel rail pressure relief valve. Hope this helps.
  5. Yes it very likely lead to the cracked welds especially if the top link also had the nut still welded to the bracket. Basically there can be no slop in the bracket hole where the control arm link bolt passes through the bracket. You need to find a truck shop who knows what they are doing to properly repair the brackets, and properly align the drive axle.
  6. It would be good to also look at the upper link. It would not surprise me if you find the same problem. To me it looks like someone tried to align the drive axle by elongating bracket holes and welding the nuts as shown in your pictures. This is not the proper way to do a drive axle alignment.
  7. I'm trying to understand these pictures. To me it looks like someone elongated the bolt hole on the lower control arm bracket on the drive axle in a failed effort to align the drive axle. Then to hold the bolt in place, the nut was welded to the bracket. What I can tell you is that none of the axle control arm nuts are welded to the brackets nor are there any elongated bolt hole brackets for the control arms on my 2008 Dynasty.
  8. This message is a notification to let you know that I just uploaded a new Parts List Update to the files. Under Downloads you will find the parts lists as the top category. We are now over 200 pages of information on parts and in many cases vendors where you can buy them. If web site clickable links don't work, please copy and paste the link to your browser. Reminder - Parts List is for the Bill D's Monacoers.org members PERSONAL USE ONLY. I want to thank all those who, over the past year, sent me updates. It was all very helpful information. Please continue to send me future updates.
  9. I recall seeing the name change request and made the edit.
  10. I think you will find what you need under the heading Downloads. Then go to Electrical systems - Wiring diagrams. By your you will see 2006 Cayman.
  11. If you look at the Leaderboard you will see the total number of folks that liked your posts over about the past month. Basically the total number of "likes" for ALL your posts ever made translates into a community reputation rating. I'm sure Scotty will jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.
  12. One workaround is to just enter a word like "Street" in the field where it asks for the street address. You can then enter the rest of the information and save to update your profile. The software is just looking for an entry in each field.
  13. I just got off the phone with Tom McDaniel. The problem is that his account had an old email address that he no longer used. I gave him a new password and he should be able to log in tomorrow. I told him to call me back if he has any issues.
  14. I called Tom McDaniel and left him a message to call me back. I should be able to sort it out.

  17. Editing days later - good catch. Scotty and I will look into that. Our setting shows that editing is available for only up to 5 minutes after posting. We will need to find out why that is not working properly.
  18. Paul, I'll assume that you check the box for individual emails, saved this setting and that you have also checked your AOL spam folder. If all this was done, please send me an offline message with a phone number and I'll call you. Frank McElroy
  19. One of the nice features when using the unread icon is the ability to select what you want to see. If you use the settings for all content type and following everything, you will get to see all discussion posted, any new files, any new calendar updates and any new pictures posted. Give it a try. I find this feature very helpful in quickly finding all new content. If you want to see what has happened each day this is the icon to click on.
  20. In a similar discussion on automatic email alerts, Scotty already contacted the platform software developer and as of right now, the ability to automatically follow and get alerts on all posts does not currently exist. Scotty did request that it be added as a new feature in a future release. They are adding it to the list, but they don’t have a timeline when it will come. As with any new platform, there are other work process options. Personally, I put an icon on my smartphone with an automatic login so in one click I'm on the site and I can either see by a black dot on the left hand margin whats new since I last viewed. I can also look at anything unread, by clicking on the unread icon. Although I am getting email alerts, quite frankly I'm finding it a whole lot easier just to look at new content directly on the website. And no pop-up ads!
  21. Chuck, Bob, I changed your display names. Scotty and I have searched for a setting to allow users that were migrated over from our old group to change their display name. There is no such setting that we could find to allow users to change their display name subject to moderator approval. If folks really want their display name changed to either their first name plus either the initial or full last name send me a message and I'll change it. As new members joint, one of the questions asked is for the new member to type in a display name.
  22. I just updated your user name. Joel Sheriff.
  23. Have you tried going to account, account setting, display name?
