Here is the link that explains the NC Quick Pass. https://www.ncquickpass.com/ We have the NC Quick Pass E-ZPass which works on toll facilities in North Carolina, Florida (SunPass), Georgia (Peach Pass) and the following states where E-ZPass is accepted. Delaware Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Kentucky Maine Maryland Massachusetts New Hampshire New Jersey New York North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Rhode Island Virginia West Virginia I have 2 transponders. One I keep in the MH and one in the toad. When towing, I put the toad transponder in its foil bag and put it in the glove box so that both are not charged $$. Seven years and no problems.

Volvo tank gone bad again
veraken replied to Rocketman3's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
Replaced mine with this 7 years ago. No problem since. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z7NOOH0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -
Are you a member of FMCA?. If so, you can use their tire purchase program. I did and bought the Continental HSR2 275/70/22.5 and are very happy with them.

I also have a 8.3 mechanical engine. I did have an intermittent start problem. Found that it was due to a bad fuel shut off solenoid. Replaced it with this, problem solved. You can manually open yours to check if this is the problem. There is a 2 1/2" and 3" bolt spacing, so check yours before ordering. https://www.ebay.com/itm/271834521395

Monaco Cayman (Roadmaster) Alternator replace
veraken replied to Markieboy's topic in Electrical Systems
I replaced my 160 amp Leece Neville 2824LC with a 200 amp Delco Remy 28SI. The install was fairly simple (I have a side radiator) except on the DR you don't connect the excite wire since it is self exciting. I purchased mine with a extra pully wheel at:https://www.qualitypowerauto.com/ I found them very helpful. I would give them a call and ask for replacement recommendationsI had my old LN rebuilt and carry it as a spare. -
Here's an article I came across which you may find interesting https://rvseniormoments.com/2016/08/24/ariston-washer-and-dryer-install/

Leveling jack return springs
veraken replied to snowman's topic in Engine, Transmission, Engine Cooling, & Hydraulics
Replaced the springs on my HWH jacks. Get the model number of your jacks first, I found that my front jacks were different from the rear. Attached is a chart on spring sizes.A note of caution. Per the chart, and upon investigation, I found the recommended spring for my rear jacks was 18" long, however, the distance between the mounting brackets on my jacks when fully retracted was only 16". If I went with the recommended springs, my jacks would never fully retract. I went with a HWH spring rated the same that was 14" long. Here is the data on mine.Front Jacks APP40506 (9000#) replacement springs #R3847HWH Rear Jacks AP8805 (12000#) replacement springs R34692 (14") vsR38956 (18") HWH Spring Chart.pdf -

A few days ago I embarked on the project of replacing my air dryer filter. As I explored what was involved, I asked myself the question of what would I do if I had a failure of this component while on the road and lost air pressure. After further exploration I found that it is a fairly easy job to bypass the filter, providing you have the necessary hardware. Now I started looking for the bypass kit I needed for my MH. I found one on ebay, however, it did not have the correct fittings. I contacted the ebay seller (plumbbobautomtive) and explained what I needed. Long story short, Bob, the owner, was very nice and helpful and after several exchanges of info and photos he designed the bypass kit I needed. In his words " I would not want you to break down with the wrong parts in hand. Getting you what you need is our goal." What I ultimately got was exactly what I needed. Thinking that others might be interested in this, I suggested that he add this item to his ebay store. Here's the link, if it's not exactly what you need, Bob will make it for you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/125994248712?hash=item1d55d7aa08:g:NCsAAOSwrV1knGmC

I installed the following ceiling fan in our RV. It comes in different sizes.https://rvandmarine.com/product/12-volt-rv-remote-ceiling-fan-28/Our RV had a ceiling light, so it was a simple job to replace the light with this fan. I did have to make a wooden plate to cover the opening left by the light which I then mounted the fan to. This unit is controlled by the remote, so no additional wiring was needed, I just leave the light switch on. If you have a bedroom slide, make sure you have the required clearance when the slide is in.
