Oh sorry, very different than mine. Something in the circuit as the step motor is NOT suspect as it works when key is on.

No there is a switch with all the other switches at the co pilot seat on the right as you are sitting in the seat Flip that switch the opposite way, then close the door with the key off and hopefully that will solve it.

Do you know that there is a switch at the co pilot seat that when turned on, keeps the step from retracting when the key is off?

I have the exact same problem but mine will go up, but won’t go down. Would it be the Carling switch in the side panel?

On this subject…I have a 2007 Dynasty. When It’s being stored, I recharge the house and chassis batteries by turning on the generator. But I never turned on my inverter. Should I be? The batteries seem to charge fine, but if it’s a better way by turning on the inverter, please let me know.

On that subject, I have an 07 Dynasty with the same 8ea. 6 volt batteries on the two different trays. One tray below the Chassis batteries, and the other 4 in a separate tray behind them. The 4ea 6 volts in the rearmost tray don’t seem to be charging or even supplying anything either. My assumption is they are just going for the ride and not hooked up properly. Have you had any problems like that?

I also have a screw on filter with no sight glass. Not sure how many hours on my aquahot. As long as you are changing whatever filter your using once a year as well as changing your fuel nozzle once a year.

I saw this from Jim awhile ago and duplicated his 2X10 ramp idea. They work just fine. I so far only used them on the front tires. Was wondering would I have to make another pair in order to ride up on the duels if I want the rear raised? Or can I just ride up on the inner tires?

Bill: I reread your post. You mentioned as long as you have 120 volts in the middle of the coach? Aren’t these 12volts?

That’s the idea I was looking for… mounting the antenna in the middle of the coach. Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks Bill.

Many in this forum say positive about them. My question is…Is there ever any problems with the signal strength between the RV front windshield and the toad TPMS transmitters? On the subject of the wet bay heater running the batteries down, would it help if you turned the wet bay heater knob all the way down? This hopefully keeping it from turning on?

I wanted to get the tire pressure monitor system for my 2007 Dynasty. I was wondering can you screw on the TPMS sensor onto the inner dual wheel without having to use extension valves? The local tire company says to stay away from valve extension hoses as it is something else to leak and cause a flat. The tire guy said you can install the sensor on if you have aluminum wheels as the hole is large enough to get your hand in. He said if you don’t have aluminum wheels, then maybe you can’t fit your hand in to screw the sensor on.

Also did you try the reset button?

I have an 07 Dynasty. Mine is in the same aqua hot bay on the bottom to the left by the fresh water tank drain valve. It’s a small box. Looks like a space heater. The control for it is in the upper right hand corner of the same bay near the ceiling.

If you feel it’s a signal problem, go to the drivers side storage bays. Going from front to back, open the second bay door (the large door). Look up and you will see modules that take and receive the signals for Aladdin. They say Aladdin right on them. Make sure all the phone type gray plugs are in tight.

I also have a 2007 Dynasty Squire. My Aladdin had no power at all. If you have the big schematics book that came with the coach, there is a page that shows the path of where the power originates and where it ends up at the monitor. It starts at the rear run box there is a 7.5 amp fuse to check there. Then it comes out the back of the RRB and goes up to a plug just above the RRB. The white plug was painted black by Monaco when they painted the engine compartment so you might have to look for it. (Right above the rear run box) this is a red wire with a yellow tracer. That wire then goes to the reset switch located right above the entrance door. Look in the video compartment to the right of that cabinet and locate the back of that reset switch on the left side wall. I was able to unplug that reset switch and confirm weather or not I was getting power up to that switch. Then the wire passes through the Front Run Box through another fuse 15amp, through one of the “J “ Plugs located on the left side of the FRB, then up to the joystick and into the dashboard where there are a few more plugs to check. The schematic shows each plug and a number to identify the plug. The plugs themselves are marked with the same number with black magic marker as on the schematic. Then all ends up in the control box inside the dash hatch above the steering wheel, and finally out of the control box and into the Aladdin monitor. Check all the RCA plugs that go into the controller as well as into the monitor. At least you have power going to the green light on the monitor. I had nothing and found at the beginning of the path, the black painted plug above the rear run box was corroded. I butt connected the ends together, (bypassed the plug) and my problem was solved. If you have trouble finding the specific pages in the schematics, let me know and I’ll give you the page numbers. Long story short, you have to check each connected plug section by section to make it less confusing, sorry for the long typing.
