  1. In addition to taking pictures. and your Dash Cam Corder, you may want to consider recording the conversations with your phone or any other discreet devise, such as a Watch/Recorder. Never to much C Y A.
  2. Any one tried this product? COLBY VALVE - PERMANENT TIRE VALVE SYSTEM. Any one used a Long valve stem from the inner dual to and thru the opening in the outer wheel rim with a Rubber Valve Stem Stabilizer with a Stainless Braided Line? I wonder if the performance of the braided line[s] is different from an application of a Full Timer, Part Timer, or Some Timer RV User?
  3. We attended a Monaco Int'l. Pre Rally at Lancaster, Ca. in March, 2006. I met a Michelin Tire Design Engineer who was working at the Michelin both, and who eventually went to Pomona, Ca. to work at the FMCA Rally. I had ordered a new 07 Executive and was interested in his input about the 315-80R-22.5 Tire . He informed me that that product was developed to address the many failures , warranty claims from Trash Haulers, garbage trucks. Back then they did not use any on board weighing devises such as Scale-O-Matic which i had had on our Co. trucks. The tire was designed for 9" rims, and subsequently to satisfy a larger market, they developed an inflation/ weight capacity chart for 8.25" rims. After taking delivery of our Executive in 6-06, i had the 295-80-22.5 Badyears removed and had 315-80R-22.5 Michelins installed on the 8.25" OEM Rims, and Sold the 8 Badyear tires to a friend who had a Trucking business. Ran those tires from 5-07 to Spring of 2014 , full timing. Never an issue. I used Nitrogen, by MY choice. Attached is a picture of my Aladdin screen , using a particular trip, that i kept just for accumulative mileage. This JUST indicates Cruising Miles. I had 79K miles on the coach/ tires when i Sold it.
  4. Had Continental Tires on my Mercedes back in the 70's. as OEM.
  5. Dave Would you mind if i shared this with other Monaco owners on another site i am on?
  6. How did the weld shop determine the aluminum alloy specification in the oil pan? The selection process for the weld filler metal would be interesting too. Valuable information for anyone who has this damage to repair in the future. You may want to consider a "skid plate" on the bottom.
  7. Individual axle weight is adequate. Fuel and water full, grey and black tanks empty. Your stuff you usually have in the coach for use. Go to a Cat scale and put the steer on the 1st platform and straddle the drive and tag on the 2nd and 3rd platforms. I would set the DOWN pressure for your tag at 50#. Get the print out and adjust the tag pressure if needed. POST on here the scale print out and we will help you determine the adjustments you may need. Then re weigh. Then get the tire inflation pressure chart for YOUR tires.
  8. Here is a link from F B i saw today. Very clever. Terry Zimmerman st1rSpoe3nshoried · Sealing openings in the coach is more important as it gets chilly, and small critters like to crawl into warm and dark spaces. It's easier to keep them out than get rid of them. I bought a cheap plunger for $2 and threw away the wooden dowel. I had a sewer fitting that I used to mark the diameter, and then cut out the center. It perfectly fit around the sewer hose and seals the chamber! https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10221623780615315&set=pcb.10221623781575339&__cft__[0]=AZVx3SVubwLm_kzvtzhI7FiDCOL0mcPEZg3rRc9GBLeYOkYPBPlnijFu001fWkCaqLm-YB6tjAs6nx4fg-GHSqgG1u3vsVnYrcBUA0JDbnKeMrCOCZwYJwVQRJ7n-HOEaEf3OMs24sffWNkw6fqCzxQAYYqG8ZalqlO9uOlk9uCJ-vKf4b4VH8M6-_7Kr069BkSaRPFQ0q6yPZ8o2hlIKVFv&__tn__=*bH-y-R You could do the same for water and electric. Leave the altered plunger on the electric cord above the plug. Only have to stretch it over the plug once. Cut a hole on the side of that one for water. Sealed up for cold weather too.
  9. Monaco used the wrong sized cable from the battery to the starter on my 07 ISX 525. It was always hard starting. I had the cables replaced with heavier ones and that took care of the hard starting. A friend of mine did the same thing to his 2006 ISX 600.
  10. I don't know what i hate more, the dog toilet on my site or the noise. At least the noise is short lived and NO clean up needed.
  11. send me your email address in a text to; 414 899 5800 and i will send you some more info on what i did and the results. It may be judged as getting off subject a little here and i don't want to offend anyone.
  12. The decibel point can be a issue for some. Not as loud as 6" dual straight pipes on a class 8 truck. Engine operating temperature definitely affected due to no back pressure. Had no problem 10 years full timing.
  13. You may want to explore dynaflexproducts.com Excellent product catalogue. Largest U S A manufacturer of Class 8 truck exhaust components. I went with a Resonator on my ISX 525 then went straight pipe. Great improvement in performance and fuel economy. intakehoses.com is an excellent source for intake components that are used on class 8 trucks, as well as clamps.
  14. I read on another RV site that the Big Boy Relay is available with silver contacts, which lasts longer.
  15. There is a video on the home page, lower left hand side. The tank has also been added to their Product Page.
  16. sourcerv.com also has these tanks that they engineered and are made in house.
  17. Yep. U S Gear . Some had a POSITIVE Ground. I had one on a 07 Executive. P O S. The field service engineer from U S gear could not figure how to hook it up . In the dumpster it went, meaning i had a guy remove as much as possible.
  18. Many have used a tinners rivet when replacing the original rivet for the door scissor closure. I do not recall the specifications. I just re peened the original one. 10 years full timing and we never had to replace the rivet.
