  1. I found some course opening stainless steel screening at a Hardware store. Had it cut to the size of the bedroom engine hatch minus clearance needed. Fastened it to that with small machine screws and fender washers. Held the insulation in place for the years we full timed.
  2. The Tecma Toilet is a Macerator type toilet usually found in a rear bath coach. Different application.
  3. That solenoid is made with silver contacts as well, that last much longer. ASK for it at NAPA.
  4. Below is an F Y I C&P post from irv2. This is just intended to provide some past history from other RV folks, NOT a recommendation. Note the torque is in INCH POUNDS. Here's a piece of the installation manual for the Duotherm Briskair AC unit.EVENLY TIGHTEN MOUNTING BOLTS TO ATORQUE OF 40 TO 50 INCH POUNDS.This will compress the roof gasket to approximately1/2". The bolts are self locking so over tightening isnot necessary. Here's another piece of information from a Duotherm Sunchaser rotary XL and Classic seriesEvenly tighten the four (4) anchor bolt nuts (D) tosecure the unit and insure a proper roof seal. Sincethese nuts have lock washers, do not over tighten,75 in. Ibs. or 6 1/4 ft. Ibs. torque is recommended.Proper installation should preclude caulking.
  5. I meet a guy in Indio, Ca. in 11-2005 at a RV Park who was inflating his coach tires with a powertank.com . He was a distributor for the product. I purchased a 15# Tank and all the accessories for the use of it. I had the tank filled with Nitrogen, MY choice. It was amazing. Filled coach tires from 105# to 110# in less than -1- minute. I installed it in the coach basement, with quick disconnects, and used a 50' hose to air up the coach and toad from either side of the coach. The tank of nitrogen would last 1 to 1-1/2 years between refills, costing between 12-14$ at Gas Supply businesses around the country as we were Full Timers. I paid 495$ for it, and Sold it in Spring of 2014 for 350$. I would do it again .
  6. I just posted also and it said it has to be reviewed by a moderator. Why?
  7. Have you tried nwrvsupply.com Have you checked the SAE or Part # molded in the lens of the one you have?

  9. I used a 6" swab stick. Not comfortable using a metal object.
  10. Richard Jim and Peggy Grich worked at MCD during the time that MCD was making the wheel covers. I had a set made there while they were employed there. They may know who supplied MCD. Paul A
  11. Another cause of oil coming out of the slobber tube is the overfilling the engine with oil. Can be a faulty marked dip stick. Happens a lot. IF you have a large amount of oil coming out of the slobber tube, reduce the amount of oil you put in the engine by -1- quart. Se what happens. Paul A
  12. Did you check out the prices from Dynaflexproducts.com? Largest MFG. of class 8 truck exhaust components in the U S A. Paul A

  14. During 9 years of the 10 years we full timed, i had a 15# powertank.com that i purchased from them for $.495.00. I used nitrogen by choice which i filled it with from Industrial Gas supply entity's. It was awesome, very quick, and the 15# tank would last for 1 to 1-1/2 years before refilling for 12-14$. I had a spot for it in the basement, and put quick disconnects on it for the 50' air line i used for the coach and Toad. I Sold it in 2014 for 350$. Best thing i ever did for the inflation issue we all have to address. Paul A
  15. Has anyone asked waderv.com about making windshield screen with magnets?? Paul A
  16. We obtained a I Pass from the state of Illinois in 2003. We registered our coach and toad tag information. We full timed from 2004 -2014. Never had a charge dispute and used it all over the U S. Only exception then was the Will Rogers Turnpike in Ok. Paul A
  17. Chris Could you please elaborate on the portion of your statement; " canvas maker/fabricator. " The "canvas maker" is very intriguing. Paul A
  18. Check out dynaflexproducts.com. I had a 525 ISX in a 07 Executive i did the following changes to the intake and exhaust components. I replaced the OEM air cleaner with one from AFE, which had a washable filter element and more CFM capacity, same micron spec. Next i replaced ALL the pleated intake hose with rubber fittings and aluminum tubing from intakehoses.com. That's what truckers use. Got rid of all the air friction in the intake. Next was a resonator to replace the muffler from dynaflexproducts.com. Largest MFG. of class 8 truck exhaust components in the U S A. Did not like that so i went straight pipe. . Here is a picture of the results on a screen shot of my Aladdin system. Performance was great and my average CRUISING MPG went up. I cruised at 1350-1400 RPM, 61-62 MPH. Paul A
  19. You have to wonder if the Vanity mud flap contributes to the rear radiator accumulating contaminated air from the roadway. Paul A
  20. Ask the local class 8 truck dealers where they get their frame work done. Do some phone interviewing. Paul A
  21. I would replace the 18 year old ignition switch. May not be defective, but a good proactive P M step. Paul A
