  1. Any hydraulic shop can rebuild (new internal seals) did mine for $240.00 including new hoses. Travel safe.
  2. Not for sure where to post this question. 97 Dynasty, 38 foot, it appears from the Transfer Relay all the electrical wires go toward the rear of the coach to the batteries, running in the middle, between the frame rails. Does anyone know if this indeed an open path to pull some new wires ? Has anyone pulled new wires from front to back ? Thanks for any advice.
  3. Gents Attached is Racor 700 Series information. The new Racor only has one button to Prime, hold down until fuel is present out of Schrader Valve. I used the 790R30 model. Has operated three years with no problems. Racor__700-Series-Filter.pdf
  4. Change the old Winn Filter to a new Racor 700 Series. Pretty much Plug and Play installation.
  5. Jim Took me a while to figure out the Relay Box, drop me a PM and happy to share what I know. Regards,
  6. 97 Dynasty has one Transfer Box in lower bay for Shore and Generator transfer and uses "relays" as transfer devices located next to 120VAC breaker panel. The Relay Box serves the purpose of a "standard" transfer box for Inverter Power, just different I guess.
  7. Thanks Jim I found it a bit curious that Monaco used relays to switch between shore power and inverter power, probably was cheaper than a second transfer box, but it seems to work OK.
  8. Has anyone replaced their Heart Freedom 2000, inverter/charger with a Magnum 2000 ? If so which Magnum did you use and any issues with the Monaco relays used in 1997 to transfer power from shore to inverter ? Thanks Charles 1997 Dynasty
  9. According to Micro Air this is a Plug & Play replacement. However, it does NOT work with the Dometic, four button, thermostat. One has to upgrade from the FOUR button thermostat to the FIVE button thermostat and new A/C board(s). Given the cost to upgrade to the Five Button Thermostat, new A/C Control Boards (2) and the Micro Aire, the total cost was a bit too high for me, although I really like the looks of the Micro Air. I replaced the insides of the Four Button Switches and the thermostat works good as new, so guess I will pass.
  10. Attached is a procedure we use on our 1997 Dynasty using air only. Winterizing Coach using Compressed Air.pdf
  11. Looks like mine, works very well with DISH Network, surprising me a few times when I thought it would not work
  12. Our wishes to all, for a blessed Thanksgiving Day. And safe travels where ever you go.
  13. Jeff Just read your post, mine works the same way ! Charles
  14. Curious, our 97 Dynasty, tag on chassis frame says; Roadmaster R-3100, GVWR 31500, so what is it exactly ?
  15. Thank you, Bill, all input on this pending issue is appreciated. I think there will be a number of owners faced with replacing the King Control sooner or later. Regards,
  16. I have the King 2600 Throttle & Cruise Control, it was rebuilt last year and working well. But the the advent of Control King closing up, have great interest in converting to the Air Throttle. Does anyone have specific details on your conversion ? Did you add a Throttle Position Sensor ? Where does the Allison get its vehicle speed input, which is now coming from he King ? Thanks.
  17. Changed the old Winn to the Racor, 97 Dynasty, seems to work well.
  18. Cummins 8.3 with 8D start battery. My guess is, will have to remove old cables and measure the lengths. Thanks.
  19. Howdy everyone: Thinking I may replace my Start Battery cables. The positive appears to go to the Starter Solenoid from diagram in Owner Manual. Does the negative cable go direct to chassis ground, it is not show on any drawing ? What would be the proper gauge cable ? Thanks & Stay Well !
  20. Thanks Jim Good location, I am kind of experimenting where to put it or more exactly how to get the wire to wherever.
  21. 1997 Dynasty you never know for sure. My Propane Leak Detector in the kitchen did not work for the longest, fuse in Rear Electric Panel was good, Carbon Monoxide Detector was powered and working in bedroom. Front 12VDC outlet in center by driver right leg inoperative. Added new 12VDC outlet with USB Charger to center console passenger side, in so doing found two fuses under the center draw, yep that was the fuses for the Propane Detector and driver side 12VDC outlet. Not on any print, so was it factory or a change somewhere in time?
  22. Indoor display is kind of temporarily mounted while I figure out where and how to get it to where I would like it mounted. My reason to have two displays; when hooking up, am in the Water Bay area to begin with, as Richard noted, so can see what is happening to the power. Afterward in the middle of night or rain, can check the inside display as needed, without going outside in the night or rain. Or at least that is the plan of today, time will tell. Travel safe, everyone.
  23. Hi Richard: The telephone wire ended up in the kitchen, on the side of the refrigerator cabinet, so far now, the second display is so located. I had the same thought in placing the other display in the water bay, as that is where you are when initially getting set up. In the water bay, the telephone box has two telco wires leaving that location, but so far, have not located the other outlet, only found the one in the kitchen, which was plainly in view. Best wishes,
  24. Installed the EMS-HW50C power monitor and two remote displays to replace my older portable, power pole, plug-in power monitor. Installed one display in water bay and used existing telephone wiring to connect indoor display. As we never use the intended park telephone connection due to cell phones, made an easy way to connect the 2nd display. Installation was pretty straight forward and not difficult to accomplish.
  25. WOW that is pretty neat, thanks.
