DJR1SR
During a recent Thunder storm, our dog decided to chew up something and unfortunately she chewed up the Drivers side Control Panel. I am looking for suggestions on where I might be able to obtain this part? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
klcdenver
Try Northwest RV Supply. 541-746-9092 On another topic what kind of brake controller is that in the picture? I have one in my rig but have not figured out what brand it is.
JDCrow
I’m having a local plastic shop make a new top panel as anything old is getting pretty brittle. Here is where you can start though https://usedrvparts.visonerv.com/cgi-bin/f/usedrvpartsrepairandaccessories.pl?
Karl Hampton
Mine was beaten up due to age, wear n tear, etc. We had a auto body/upholstery shop recover and rebuild the frame. Had a specialty plastic Company replace/build (replicate) the top plastic cover. Fortunately they did a good of labeling the wiring, etc, so it all went together okay. One switch broke (idle up/down), one switch gave us some troubled (grounding issues), but after extensive search and a good “electric technician” we were able to replace it and solve all issues. That is an option if you find good shops to do it. Cost about $500 total.

windsorbill06
you can disassemble the control panel and take the wooden box down to an upholstery shop. I replaced my burl wood control top from material sourced from Amazon. It was a pretty easy project if you have the basic tools. Lots of color choices too. Guest Ray Davis
Check this out, the burled plastic, if they have yours, they are pretty cheap. http://www.nwrvsupply.com/category/SDP.html Send a picture with measurements and see what they say. Steven P
Dennis, As a veterinarian, I'd suggest you talk to your vet about Sileo or trazodone for the storm phobias. They don't go away and tend to get worse. Look at the Thunder Shirts also.

We stay over night during thunderstorms and on 4th of July
DJR1SR
Thank you for the advice for our dog. We usually don't go anywhere when a storm or fireworks are coming but Unfortunately this storm came in from nowhere and caught us by surprise. We will look into the medication that you described and your both right it doesn't get better. Still no luck with finding the panel, tried Visone & Colaw RV.
Byron J
This place has been recommended often over the years. They show Monaco down on the left hand side of their web page. http://www.custominstrumentpanels.com/
RustyTools
Our German Shepherd Dog has learned to get her ThunderShirt and bring it to us to put on her when needed. I was initially skeptical about them, but they do seem to calm her down.
