Tom Wallis Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 I replaced mine with these LEDs from Amazon and I really like them. Dream lighting RV Interior LED Light with Dimmer Switch 12v Ceiling Light Fixture for RV Trailer Camper, Warm White Lighting, 4.5W, 300lumen, 5inch, Pack of 1
Ivylog Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Having gone LED in a 04 Dynasty 18 years ago… reducing the amps from 32 to 4 (all 32 ceiling lights on) you want G4 12SMD 5050 bulbs in warm white (3000 temp) or daylight (5000 temp). Daylight wasn’t available even 10 years ago and it’s my preference today for inside. I sometimes use bright white (7000 temp) outside, but it’s too bluish for many situations. Over the years I’ve experimented with various LEDs and the 5050 chips run the coolest. Cut half the length of the pins off and bend in slightly. Use a flashlight to help get the pins in the small holes. The only LEDs I’ve had poor service out of are the strips so I use panels with 48 SMD 5050 chips. 12 bulbs for $17 on Amazon… $14 ones are 7000 temp and too blue. joefromperry Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Almost done changing all the puck lights from halogen to LED in my 2003 Signature. These are what I got from Amazon, 2700K, dimmable. Only adjustment I made was trimming just a smidge off the length of the bi-pins: Ole' Lighting G4 LED Bulbs 2.5W Warm White LED Bulb 2700K,200LM G4 LED Bulb 12V 360° Beam No Flicker Non-dimmable Energy Saving Lamp G4 Bulb (5 Packs What a big difference in brightness; these are 200 lumen, and going from 20 watts/bulb to 2 not only saves battery, but a whole lot less heat per puck. I did all the puck lights in the coach, living room and bedroom.
ktloah Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Got mine replaced thru M4 Products....great people

amphi_sc Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 (edited) If your existing Halogen bulbs are dimmable make sure you get dimmable LED that won't flicker. I went with 20w equivalent pucks that were a little whiter than the yellowish Halogen but be careful about going too blueish. Probably 10w equivalent is fine for the BR as I end up dimming those down, but like the full 20W brightness in the LR. rustykramermetalfab Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 G4 LED Light Bulbs 4000K Cool White Lighting Dimmable, 3W Equivalent to 30W AC DC 12V-24V, Bi-pin LED Bulb Silicone G4 LED Bulbs (10-Pack) I use these in all my puck lights now. I really like the 4000K they are white or clear? My wife does not like the warm 3000K lights anywhere. It just depends on the interior colors of your rig and what you like. These run nice and cool also.
Joint Venture Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 I changed all our ceiling 3" puck lights with these from Amazon. Facon 3 Inch LED RV Puck Light, DLFST3-008, Full Aluminum Recessed LED Ceiling Light, 12V Interior Light They were pretty easy to install and a direct replacement for OEM.
terboggs Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 will these options work on a 2001 Monico execitive
Joint Venture Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Depends, if yours are 3" puck lights then mine will work just fine.
