  1. Latest information... When you "unsubscribe" it runs that as a batch process (usually overnight), so the changes don't take effect until the next day. In this case, our batch process is stuck, and the unsubscribe requests are queued to run, but can't until the batch process is fixed. I have been communicating with our provider, Invision, all evening trying to get this resolved. 🤦‍♂️ Your patience is appreciated. I am, after all, a volunteer... 🙋🏻‍♂️
  2. Thanks for the heads up. We're working on this and have shut down the Weekly Digest completely until the problem is resolved. Please direct future comments to the "Digests" thread where I can track all of them in one place.
  3. I have contacted Invision support. Although I have disabled the Weekly Digest, apparently there is a batch process running that got hung up. I am at their mercy at this point, as mere humans aren't allowed to mess with batch processes...
  4. The Weekly Digest has been disabled until this issue is resolved. Please let me know via message or email if you have this issue with DAILY digests also. Thanks, Scotty
  5. Quick question... is it ONLY the Digests that are doing this, or all communications? that will help me trace it down.
  6. I’m trying to figure this out... shut down the site email capability this afternoon but apparently they are still going out. please be patient...
  7. To that point, I had just done my Guardian Plates a few weeks before, so I had the long handle rivet tool for the SS rivets.

  9. Yes, that’s exactly what happened to mine.
  10. Monacoers, On Sunday, April 19 you will receive the first "Bill D's Monacoer's Weekly Digest". This can be in addition to OR in place of the current Daily Digests. Again, you can receive EITHER or BOTH. The first issue will go out to everyone, and I will warn you, it will be large! We've been averaging 30-40 posts per day, with gusts up to 50+, so you can expect 200-350 posts in each weekly digest. You can turn the Weekly Digest off before Sunday if you don't want to receive it. Instructions below: To chose what you receive, you can easily turn the Daily and Weekly digests on or off: Click on your username in the upper right hand corner Click on "Account Settings" On the left hand side, click on "Newsletters" From that screen, you can turn newsletters on and off, and switch the formats between HTML and Plain-text. Enjoy!
  11. Jim, You can control what content is viewable to other members, and to the outside world. Your Display Name is visible to all users. Your last name used when you register is only visible to you on your profile page and the Moderators. By default, your real last name is NOT visible to other users unless you change your settings to allow it. In no case is it visible to someone who isn't a registered user on the site. The best way to address what you are asking is to go to your Account Settings. On the main page (Overview) it will show your "Display Name". On the left hand side, click on "Display Name" and you can set it to anything you'd like. The "suggested"Display Name is your first name and last initial, but it must be at least six characters (excluding spaces), so "Jim A" wouldn't work. That is certainly not a hard and fast rule, as you can see from some of the Display Names you see... Hotrod, Hypoxia, etc... You are free to change it to anything you like, so long as it's not vulgar or offensive (not that anyone on here would, but in this day and age I have to say that...)
  12. If your gears are weak or stripped on a Shoreline Hose Reel, there is a fellow in Southern California who makes a gear ‘milled’ from solid stock instead of injection molded: John Delmatoff Jondel1234@yahoo.com When my gear stripped last year, I purchased a gear and rivet kit from him for $75 and the the thing has worked flawlessly since then.

  14. Monacoers, We love seeing pics of your rig in your signatures! This is NOT a request to remove your pics!!! However, I need to ask that we limit the size of the pictures to 300 pixels in the largest dimension. If you have a large pic and need to resize it, go to your username in the upper right hand corner, select "Account Settings", the on the left hand menu select "Signature". In your signature, double-click on your picture and a dialog box will come up that will allow you to resize the pic. Use 300 as the larger dimension. Once done, click 'Update" to finish resizing, then "Save" to update your signature. As always, if you need help message me on here or email me at scott at monacoers dot org
  15. Can’t speak for the others, but the T-Mobile offering includes a modem that can connect to your LAN via Ethernet.
  16. Depending on your location, T-Mobile is rolling out home internet. Here in the Atlanta suburbs it’s $50/mo for unlimited data. They state 50Mbps, but speeds are based on LTE connectivity, so I’m sure they are variable. Might be worth a look.
  17. Joel, Did you get everything working?
  18. Joel, I'm no expert but I am a mechanical engineer with some experience with metal fatigue... understanding that all I've seen is your pictures and read your descriptions, I'm going to theorize that you may have had some metal fatigue in those frame rails from the previous accident that wasn't noticed by the previous bodyshop. (even if you didn't have a base plate then - if you did that would heighten my suspicion!) Just a speculative theory... but this seems so far beyond the usual I'm hoping there's a clear explanation out there somewhere.
  19. Just a side note from a lighting guy... You need an INCANDESCENT bulb for this. LED bulbs (and to a lesser extent fluorescent) are great for lighting; not so great for making heat. I would go with a 60 or 75 watt incandescent bulb. Even better if you can scare up a rough-duty incandescent bulb (they have a protective coating and stronger filament). And yes Virginia, you can still find them... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JS9SAA6/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_ey-JEbZYQ4678
  20. Bob, It’s fascinating to see how different two 2006 Diplomats can be! I know you’ve made a lot of mods, but is that the original location of your hose reel? I’m planning on reworking my wet bay this spring, - I’ve already purchased most of the components (AquaJet pump, etc) - and have taken a lot of ideas from pics you’ve sent me. Have you considered removing the shower? Mine has never had a hose, and is mostly a nuisance. I use the spigot to wash hands - I have a small hose running from thereto the rinse, but was planning to connect those with a pex line with a ball valve and check valve. Scotty
  21. Working on making that change, but it’s going to take some programming...
  22. No worries! You can turn this off if you don’t find it useful! Click on your name (username) in the upper right hand corner Select "Account Settings" On the left hand side of the window, select "Newsletters" From the "Manage Newsletter Subscriptions" window, you can turn off Daily Digests or change the format to Plain-text or HTML (HTML is the default) That will turn off *just* the Daily Digest, not anything else.
  23. It can be either... or... both.
  24. Please take the poll on Weekly Digests. This could be an alternative to the Daily Digest or could be received with the Daily Digest (i.e., you could turn each on on and off individually)
