  1. Most likely a relay somewhere. Possibly in either the Front Run Bay or the Rear Run Bay.
  2. Haha, you're correct. The company I am thinking about is Tough Top Awnings. True Topper is aluminum. Not sure I would go in that direction until there were some history using them on Monaco coaches.
  3. True Toppers fabric, thread and stitching pale in comparison to Stone Vos. That's how they can offer the best warranty in the country. Do your due diligence then make your decision once you have all of the facts.
  4. Order the fabric from Stone Vos Inc. in Florida. Have shipped to you then have Elite RV in Harisburg Oregon do the installation.
  5. Unless you can find the exact size Serpentine belt that would fit without going around the alternator pulley, you are basically out of luck. It is easier to by pass the AC compressor as it generally has its own belt. If you can't seen to get to the two mounting bolts I would look for a mobile diesel mechanic plus find yourself a good rebuild shop to rebuild your alternator to factory specs. Did you keep what was left of the old belt as that may have had some numbers on it so you could purchase a new one?
  6. Welcome and congratulations on purchasing one of the best Monaco coaches ever built (prejudiced a little). We purchased a 2006 Monaco Dynasty Countess III last February 2022 in Salt Lake City. Drove it home the 3000 miles back to Florida and started to go through it inch by inch to put it back into the condition it should have been in. I am about 90% complete. You will get the very best information and recommendations here on this site versus others. Safe travels!
  7. So sorry that you now have to deal with a problem that the campground owners should have dealt with BEFORE this happened to you by the looks of that DEAD tree. I would seal everything up tight with the water tight Flex Seal Sheets. https://flexsealproducts.com/#1
  8. I would think that your local police department would be able to tell you when you give them the VIN#.
  9. Hopefully the links below may help. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f125/allison-mh2000-wont-shift-to-5th-gear-94921.html https://www.rvtechlibrary.com/transmissions/1000_2000_operators.pdf
  10. Your air horn is activated by an electrical switch on the Smart steering wheel which electrically activates an air valve. I use my horn anywhere it is needed especially on the freeways or for the millions of stupid drivers on our roads.
  11. My 10K Generator is model 10HDCAA-11506D.
  12. @Georgia Mike The only panel that has two screws in that cabinet is the one directly on the side which is odd shaped looking. Someday when bored, I will remove the screws to see what is hidden underneath. Thanks!
  13. The "fix" is remove the Big Boy then install the Blue Seas ML-ACR device which is a LOT smarter and built to handle the amps that are customarily seen during normal use. Plus, it allows you to ignore other devices that are no longer needed.
  14. Mike, Is that the same cabinet where the two grey power panels are located? Did you remove the entire panel or just one of the grey power panels?
  15. Mike, Contact Chris Throgmartin directly here at Monacoers. @throgmartin
  16. @Gene YGood to know now that you have a 12.5K generator. It would also help to know what Inverter brand and model you have plus the brand and model of the Inverter Remote.
  17. @Gene Y The reason your generator shuts down when using the dash switch is because of the AGS settings. The generator is sensing when the House Batteries have reached your Auto-Gen Shut-Off point. By using the RC7-GS to start the generator bypasses this setting. So you have two options, if you want to use the generator for the rooftop AC's then either use the RC7-GS to start the generator OR turn off the AGS in the RC7-GS settings.
  18. @Rick A I'd be happy to send you the application which I use on my mini-PC. All you would need is the converter box and proper pin-cable that goes into your ECM port.
  19. I have used the SilverLeaf VMSpc system since 2010. Had it on my Windsor for 12 years then transferred it to my Dynasty. I won't move the coach without it up and running.

Love your Irish Setter & beautiful lap dog.
  21. Did you probe every fuse to make sure ALL were good? Monaco did some strange stuff at times one of which was to not label the fuses correctly or even piggyback item's together on the same fuse labeling it something else.
  22. The vents were used for the RV Absorption Fridge which needs cool air coming in and rising through the roof vent. It is NOT needed for any residential install. Both the side and roof vents need to be blocked off especially when it gets really cold outside. The residential fridge gets its cooling air from inside the coach normally from the bottom of the fridge.
  23. I have owned a 7.5K generator in my 2002 Windsor and now own a 10K generator in my 2006 Dynasty. I had to get used to the differences in their operation. The 7.5K started from the House Battery Bank and because it is an Inverter Generator it would ramp up speed as I put more load onto the generator. The 10K starts from the Chassis Battery Bank and it runs at a constant speed/rpm so the sound doesn't change as more loads are put onto it. The only characteristic of this 10K which I don't like is that I don't consider it to be an Onan QD aka Quiet Diesel Generator. It is far noisier than the 7.5K I had in the Windsor even when it was running at full capacity. Like @Rocketman3 if I attempt to start the engine while the 10K generator is running it will kill the generator. I believe it is due to low voltage as the starter is drawing way too many amps from the Chassis Battery Bank.
  24. Unfortunately the Aqua-Hot is not part of the Manobloc System. So it cannot be isolated. The only way to isolate the Aqua-Hot is to have a ball valve on the hot water line going INTO the Aqua-Hot boiler area.
  25. Maybe a call to the Technical Service Department at Dometic who now owns the Fantastic Fan brand will have some clues as to why they do what you are describing.
