  1. It should have either gone into Oil Level mode or Diagnostic mode. Since it has NOT then you have something strange going on with your transmission that needs some professional expertise. Good luck with your tow and repair. Don't forget to come back here and post what the shop finds and the fix. Safe travels!
  2. @TW RacingWhat happens to the NN display when you press the up and down arrows simultaneously?
  3. Those Thetford toilets make good boat anchors! I won't post why I feel that way as it has been posted way TOO many times already. We now have a Sealand Magnum Opus Toilet. Problems and noise no longer an issue.
  4. @TW Racing Do you have the ignition key in the ON position with the Allison keypad lit up in red?
  5. I guess your Allison doesn't have an oil level sensor to read the oil level on your keypad therefore according to the instructions you only push the arrows once to get into diagnostic mode.
  6. @TW Racing When you check transmission oil level, do you do it with the keypad or the dipstick? If you use the keypad then your Allison has a digital oil level sensor. Pushing the UP and DOWN arrows simultaneously once will put you into Oil Level Check mode. Pushing them a second time will put the keypad into Diagnostic Code display. It will then start listing the code(s) one at a time starting with d1. If you have more than one code you use the mode key to switch to d2, d3, d4, d5. Follow the directions listed in the PDF I had posted earlier.
  7. When I was stuck in AZ, I called the Allison shop in Phoenix for help. They stepped me through how to retrieve any error codes to determine the cause. They were very helpful!
  8. Also, the code I retrieved from the keypad at the time was 22 - 16 which is noted in the code list as Output Speed Sensor. I actually called an Allison dealer located in AZ where I had parked for the night who stepped me through how to retrieve error codes from the keypad. I thanked him for showing me how to do that. Learned something new that day.
  9. I had a similar problem while driving the Dynasty home from Salt Lake City except the Allison would not shift out of 1st gear. The code I got from the keypad was for the Output Speed Sensor. I fixed it by disconnecting the Output Speed Sensor at the rear of the transmission then cleaning the contacts in both connectors really good with a good contact cleaner. I don't see a P-0729 code in the Allison Code List. Are you reading the code correctly? Here is the Allison manual with the list of codes. Allison Trans Codes.pdf
  10. @jacwjames & @tmw188 Josam's did not add any plates, just laid down the welds. I hauled a 30 foot 12K trailer for about 8 years. The coach had over 100K by 2017 when the cracks were discovered.
  11. Barry at Josam in Orlando discovered cracks in the axle supports of my Windsor back in July 2017. Made a return appointment to have the new drag link installed which he had found to have loose joints. They did the welding at that time. No more cracks were ever discovered.
  12. Some members have done exactly what you are considering. They installed a separate PSW Inverter with a 120 VAC bypass OR just the Inverter and powered the fridge constantly with the Inverter.
  13. These are the two that I own and carry with me whenever I travel. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KYBPN3D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GQ7KE9M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  14. Snowflakes, you will never find two identical! Obviously, Monaco never wired the single duplex (two outlets) to the Inverter otherwise it they did then the NotSoCold would not work correctly by detecting when power has been severed. Seen this before by other members here. They had to run a new Romex line or extension cable from an outlet that WAS powered by their Inverter.
  15. Move what "card" from the old to the new unit? If you have an old Dometic AC Penguin and you are replacing the AC with a new Dometic AC Penguin II, then in order to use the old thermostat you have to purchase their conversion board. Moving the old control board to the new AC will not work. Make sure to hold on to the new board that came in the new AC.
  16. Not good news. You most likely have an older Aqua-Hot with the internal fresh water coil inside the boiler which has sprung a leak.
  17. As I have stated many times on this forum, I would not spend another red penny or my valuable time on repairing a NotSoCold, NeverCold or whatever else you want to call the piece of junk. Up to you, JMHO.
  18. Mike, how many AC's are controlled on the rear 5 Button Thermostat? If only one, then you could upgrade that thermostat to the 10 Button and be done with it. However, if it controls two like it does in my 42 foot Dynasty then you need to purchased the converter board to maintain use of your 5 button thermostat. Keep the new board to use later.
  19. Could this device be a Trailer Wire Conversion Box which should have a number of wires on the input side and most likely 4 on the output side. That will convert separate turn and brake signals into a combo unit. to use on a 4-way or 7-way connector.
  20. Using the dead-bolt is a more safer and secure way to lock the entry door. Those locks on the entry door handle are fairly generic and as far as I know there are not that many versions of the keys that open those locks. Pretty much the same for the bay door locks. Have you tried to go to a fairly large RV dealership where they most likely have all of the various versions used and available in their key inventory? Or possibly you could just swap out the tumbler assembly for a new one with a set of keys. I believe those entry door handle/lock assemblies are made by Trimark. https://www.trimarkcorp.com/sr/media/pdf/Service_and_Replacement_Rev5.pdf Here is the web link to the one available at Veurinks RV for $92 - https://shop.findmyrvparts.com/monaco-rv-paddle-latch-08704363-p/190039.htm
  21. Mike, That bolt head looks more like a 12 point Flange Head Bolt. Whether it is metric or not, won't know until you remove the bolt and match up the thread pattern to either standard or metric. If there is still play with a standard 12 point socket then I would definitely try the metric socket. Explanation of 12 Point Flange Bolts - https://www.aftfasteners.com/12-point-flange-bolts/
  22. Have you considered taking what you have to a Certified Leece-Neville shop to have it completely rebuilt?
  23. My Coolant Surge Tank on my previous Windsor with the ISC had a High Level Mark and a Low Level Mark. Maybe they were labeled Hot & Cold, I can't specifically remember. When the coolant was cold the level was close to the bottom mark and when it was hot at temperature it was at or over the high mark. How large is your coolant tank and how is it marked?
