bmulvenna@hotmail.com
2004 Dynasty. Docking lights fuse blows as soon as switch is turned on. Remove 2 rear docking light bulbs. Replace fuse, turn on switch and 2 front dock lights work fine. Place bulbs back in rear and the fuse blows again. Any thoughts are appreciated. John Haggard
You got it narrowed down. Maybe a ground issue ??? Remove the left rear bulb 💡 and try. Then the right rear bulb 💡 and try

klcdenver
I would take all the bulbs out and mark them. Start putting one front bulb in the rear sockets one at a time and check. If you fave multi meter you can check the rear bulbs for a short. Probably have shorted element in a rear bulb. Good luck
HarleyR
It sounds like a short in one of the rear lamp sockets may me the culprit. Test one, then the other. Possibly a bad socket or a bare wire short circuit behind the socket.
Pepperell
Anyone have an led substitute for the oval ones? I’m thinking of trying a 6” oval truck led via the McGyver method.
Dennis H
The lights are easy enough to check. Look underneath first and look for a frayed wire. You could swap one of the front bulbs with a rear one and test them that way. You are talking about the side lights, right? Not the two on the rear of the coach.....Dennis Edited April 2, 2021 by Dennis H

Harvey Babb
Could be a shorted bulb. Rare, but it happens.
bmulvenna@hotmail.com
Found a bad housing. It was shorting out when a bulb was inserted. Ordered a new one from NW rv supply.
