I did my sig 3years ago. Use a good quality plank and it goes pretty good. I ran the width of the coach and padded the center up to meet slides without big jump. Lined up the planks nicely. I hade stone at entrance and through kitchen that I squared up lacking flexible matching trim. That was the hardest. The bedroom was as much work as the entry, kitchen and living room. good luck paulb

My goodness Ivan K, thanks I will look for it tomorrow. I think the zone shorting out my controll board is the living room and kitchen 3 heaters label zone 5 on the board. I didn’t even know there was zone 5. I have them disconnected and the board is holding up. One green and one white go to 3 heaters and 1 green and one white go to thermostat. They are all 12 wire and I don’t know which is which. Tomorrow’s project to figure out pairs, where they go and what is shorted. More fun😝

I have a short in my #5 pump or thermostat on my AHE100 4s aquahot 05 sig. I have disconnected the 4 wires going to these and everything works. Problem is I can’t find the wet bay heater or fan. Does anyone know where they would be? thanks paulb

AquaHot will not restart when water is warm
Paul Busch replied to Patrick's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Could be your high limit thermostat/switch is bad. Does the reset button pop? How wiring my diesel burner I can only run it for a few minutes with all the furnace blowers going or it pops the high limit and it should reset when the switch goes off but not with the problem board I have. Better days coming huh😜 -
AquaHot will not restart when water is warm
Paul Busch replied to Patrick's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Tom thanks! I really can’t say enough good about William. I was without hot water for 2week for no reason that I could find. I had bought all new guts last fall from John Carrillo and every thing was working fine then NOT. Every time I tried to figure it out it would start working again. I rewired all my connections , changer relays, and stretched my head. I had electric again for some reason but with cold coming I installed a new filter and nozzle and everything quit working. I was throwing parts at it from aquahot and John Carrillo. Every time I tried to contact some one for help they said call back or they would call me and it never happened. Cold was coming to southern WI and I was desperate. I was heating freezing weather with 6 small electric heaters and learning to think 62 was livable with enough cloths.😜 I found Lexington Engineering web page where they will test controller boxes, control panels and Webasco burners. I emailed them and they responded with GIVE US A CALL WITH THEIR NUMBER AT 11pm at night. I did call the next day and left a message. Same O Same O right. Bill called me an hour later and spent an hour on the phone on a Saturday helping me trouble shoot. We determined it was the controller box on the webasco diesel burner and I ordered and paid for a rebuilt one. Turns out my old box was good and I needed the control board. He sent me a rebuilt board and my old box back and didn’t charge me for anything and will take his box back and settle up when it gets warm enough to make the changes. Meantime I have the electric hot wired and diesel burner working when I need it to get more heat through this last couple weeks of sub zero weather with 30mph winds. I couldn’t use any more heaters was blowing my 50amp hookup. For sure I would have lost my wet bay and had frozen Aqua hot. You can see why I love these guys and can’t say enough good about them. WHO TALKS YOU THROUGH TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR 3 HOURS ON A SUNDAY? WILLIAM BORIE THATS WHO. Sorry for the long post but you see why I love these guys😃 paulb -
AquaHot will not restart when water is warm
Paul Busch replied to Patrick's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
I would suggest calling William Borie at Louisville Engineering. I just went through a through trouble shooting process and found the trouble with my green board. They test and rebuild Aqua hot motors, burner controller, and green board controllers. I bought parts from heat my rv and Aqua hot and could not get anyone to call me back or answer my questions. Aqua hot would put me in a queue and never call back and I never heard from John Carrillo once. This Bill Borie called me back and spent hours on the phone Saturday and Sunday walking me through the checklist. He even called about 10 at night to make sure everything was working. He showed me how to bypass the controller to get temporary heat. Just went up from -8 to 20 today. Probably saved my coach for me. (Moderator's EDIT for EMPHASIS.....GREAT INFORMATION) I can’t say enough good stuff about these guys. William Borie 502 553 8210 good luck paulb -

I am working on my aquahot and ordered some from chemworld concentrate for 50.00 pr gal. Makes 2 gallons. I panicked it was taking to long and ordered 2 gallons from beach audio 85 total premixed. None of it is coming soon enough😙I tried to upload pictures and might have messed up🙃

Great, have a merry Christmas.

I just went through this myself. Was it low on fluid? My sensor had broken off inside the tank. Just like a toilet float. On my coach I have pull 25amp fuse and reinstall to reset. I believe you can connect both wires to check if the float is shutting down the Aqua hot. I know you can bypass the hi temp shutoff to check it

Wet bay heater fan and radiator
Paul Busch replied to Paul Busch's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Wow Ivan, thanks I will look for it tomorrow. I decided to winter with family in southern wi and probably should be somewhere else. 8 degrees tonight and having trouble with Aqua hot and keeping up with space heaters. I think my fan for wet bat is shorted out. paulb -
Does anyone know where the radiator and fan are located in a 2005 signature castle 4? Mine is shorted out and I can’t find it. I see the thermostat and where the fan and thermostat plug in on the green board. thanks paulb

My Aqua Hot boiler tank sprung a leak

I lost fluid from my boiler and it ran down over the exhaust. It was from a cracked plastic fitting on the front bottom of the boiler. Replaced it with a new brass one. Good luck. -

My Aqua Hot boiler tank sprung a leak
Paul Busch replied to 96 EVO's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
Mine is leaking when around the pressure cap when it comes up to temperature. It doesn’t smoke or is in the combustion chamber but runs over the top and down through the the air intake. The expansion tank haven’t moved in a year and I have to add about a gallon of boiler fluid every several weeks. My weekend project is to de-solder the boiler cap and install a no-solder neck from Rodger Berk in Florida. 250 but cheaper than pulling the boiler out to work on it. Did your boiler freeze or did you see boiler fluid in the combustion chamber? If it is only leaking when coming up to temperature I would test the pressure cap to make sure it is working then check the tank pressure. If your reservoir tank is not fluctuating during operation then it could be the same issues I have. -
I am missing something? A couple weeks ago my aquahot quit working on the electric side and also diesel burner wouldn’t work. I pulled the inspection panel off and the controller box off the check wires and it started working again? I assume I had a loose connection and maybe it would be ok. Last fall my float switch broke off and nothing worked as I was getting a low boiler fluid message. I replace all the sensors, float switch, high limit sensors for the diesel burner and electric element along with a new electric element. All was working good until a couple weeks ago and again yesterday. I pulled the diesel burner and installed a new injector and fuel filter. I can not seem to get either to work now. There are only three fuses that I know of and 2 1 amp in the CPU. Any one know what else to look for? paulb

I am staying parked in southern wi this winter till I get a better sense of what is going on. I don’t see this getting better soon and I don’t know if anyone knows what is going to be happening.

Aqua Hot electric heater not coming on.
Paul Busch replied to rschley's topic in AC, Heating, and Cooling
I was having trouble with no heat last fall. It showed low boiler fluid but when I took the cap off it wad full. Wound up fluid flute level gage had broken off. I used the time to change all sensors, float sensor, and heating element. My old element was working but when I pulled it out it looked like garbage compared to the new one. good luck pb
