  1. I had the same problem with a 2005 Detroit diesel. Changed all fuel filters and still a problem. Was told need injector #4. Turned out was injector wiring harness. Different motor, maybe the same problem. Good luck. paulb
  2. I replaced my carpet carpet in my 05 sig a couple of years ago. I was going to recarpet but everyone wanted between 5,000 and 8,000 labor plus carpet and wouldn’t tell me which till then were done. I used a good quality vinyl laminate from Home Depot. They have an assortment of trims that work well for the slides .the hardest part is removing the carpet and staples. My coach had rounded corners in the kitchen stone and entry stone. That was also hard to cut them and clean up the thinset. I also had two spots of rot all the way through my subfloor and to daylight on my big front slide. I patched about 2-4’sq areas with 15ply cabinet grade 3/4” plywood which I water proofed with paint. I took the opportunity to remove the seats and side consoles which had daylight showing when removed. I primed the floor underlayment a couple of coats of water proofing and installed the plank flooring. I did my slides and used 1/4 “ styrofoam in layers to build up to the height I needed to work out slide. I also removed bed when I got back there and was able to clean everything up nicely. I did my slides and am happy I did. It wasn’t that much extra work and came out nice. Altogether about 2,000 for material. The planking was 1700. good luck paulb
  3. I added Balance Masters to my 05 sig 5 years ago so I don’t have to look at ugly weights on my aluminum rims and keep having to replace the ones that are shaken off on our wonderful US roads. They are wonderful. paulb
  4. Paul, I put Balance Masters on my sig 5 years ago. Good luck. paulb
  5. Thanks, happy thanksgiving to you. My favorite holiday. paulb
  6. Good luck. Sure is a learning curve isn’t it?
  7. Sig seats have worm and gear drive motors. The one I had trouble with was the reclining worm drive. The gear was plugged with dried grease. I just cleaned the worm drive gears and re greased.
  8. My 05 sig just needed the worm drive old dried grease cleaned up and new grease. After not being used it dried up and was like rock. Good luck paulb
  9. I put 12 Bellacorp on 3 years ago and love them. Easy to program, change batteries, and move around. Also with my 45’ I have no trouble receiving signal from toad tires. paulb
  10. I repaired mine with the heavy PVC glue fitting and SPA hose from Ace Hardware. Standard PVC fittings and glue work on the flexible PVC hose. paul
  11. I had the same trouble with my 05 sig. motor just got old and weak. Mine was from 1999 Ford Taurus, 99 tp 01 Lincoln or 99 thunderbird. All passenger window motors. Pretty easy change. Kwikee sent me a motor that was wrong then said I had ro do update kit for 600. Motor from Napa was 85. Good luck.
  12. I would take off one of the valances. You will be able to see the screws up in the ceiling. Mine are just 2 philips head. The valance is 1/4 x 2” attaché to a 12”x1/2” board which is screwed to the ceiling. I think you might have to remove one side of the valance to remove the door and replace it. The disconnect will only go one way. If you remove the valance you will have an easier time working on the door. The plastic connector is just a coupler to connect the roller in the track to the bracket on top of the door. This is probably something like yours
  13. My wood valances are screwed up to the ceiling. The flat valance is L shaped with screws going up into the ceiling. Once you remove the valance you will be able to see the bracket. Attached is a picture of the roller that is in the track and you can how the bracket attaches to the door piece.
  14. Earnel Pull the door open after removing one or both of the trim valances. On my sig the door you can see the top of the door with rollers and they have a catch to release the roller in the track from the top of the door. The roller has com detached from the top of the door bracket or the track has come loose. With the door removed you can reattach the bracket or track, replace door and replace one or both trim pieces. The white plastic is the piece to rotate to aseperate door bracket from track roller bracket. paulb
  15. Pulsarjab and George, Thanks for your help. Gives me plenty to go on. paulb
  16. Does anyone know what muffler I need for a 2005 signature Castle 4 with series 60 engine? thanks paulb
  17. I put Balance Masters on all my wheels. Why I did my own torquing. I love the balance masters. paulb
  18. My 05 sig is 500 lbs. I bought my own torque wrench and do it myself. paulb
  19. Same thing happened to my. 05 sig. the motor was just old and tired I think. Replaced it and cleaned contacts and working great now. paul
  20. Dennis, Thanks for the input. My 05 sig had a SANICON macerator when I bought it used and worked great for 5 years. Started full timing last year and quit working. It is positioned in the center of the coach and really hard to get to. I used the dump hose all winter when we had a full hookup. I managed to get the front off and it was plugged with hair. I don’t think I can remove the original pump without removing the 50 amp power reel and not interested in tackling that now. I thought since it was 15+ I would just put in a new pump. Easy to install on the service bay floor and working great. Just seems noisy but maybe because it is right there instead of hid in the middle of the coach? I have spent the last 2 months bouncing from state park to state park without hookups and using dump stations. We now have a permanent summer home in my grandsons driveway and pumping into his sewer which is a refreshing change. We are not going to be big dry campers. I know the pump is the only thing for me here and working great now. paulb
  21. Thanks Dwight, Hair is what did the SANICON in. It is so hard to reach but I managed to get the front off and remove the blades. I figured it was so old I might as well replace it. I just mounted the new one in the floor of the service bay and left the original one to remove later. The SEAFLO pump is so moist it doesn’t seem it would last long. I I will check the Surflo out . paulb
  22. Just replaced my 05 SANICON macerator pump with a SEAFLO pump. Pretty loud and doesn’t sound like it will last long? Any one recommend a good macerator pump? paulb
  23. My 05sig has a controller mounted in the ceiling of the middle bay and a second one mounted under it. I pulled them down cleaned contacts and checked all fuses. Turned out my control pad was bad. Randy at HWH walked me through the whole process and ordered and sent the parts needed. They are a big help. paulb
  24. I believe the compressor will not run if the charge is to low and it will not charge without the compressor running. I could not get mine to charge without the compressor running. That is the dash and 3 roof top air conditioners.
  25. I forget but I just used the large cans from NAPA and filled till it was in the night green on the cans gage. I do think the damage comes from non-use. I had my used coach for 5 years and only used it a couple weeks a year and nothing worked. Started full timing last October and once everything is working it all got better. 1 of my air conditioners had no charge, one worked and one was semi cold. I tapped all three. Added leak sealer to one and jumped the compressor to get it to charge. Middle one was a full charge and front one took park of a charge. All are blowing ice cold air since January in Texas. the same with the engine compressor. Once I got it charged after hot wiring the compressor it has worked flawlessly since last November. Good luck paulb
