  1. I have had the 770 LMT for many years. When it first came out it seemed to work pretty darn good. Over the years it has progressively got worse. It does the same thing as Richard described exiting the interstate just to loop around and get back on and having me do crazy stupid things that don’t make any sense. I have updated it all the time hoping that it would fix it but it just gets worse. I’m very leery about getting a newer one and so I just rely on Google maps and Waze which doesn’t account for bridge height and other things. Anyways, I feel your frustration Richard.
  2. No, it’s double din. I bought a unit from Amazon called Atoto. It’s load with features like car play, dash cam and a ton of other stuff. It’s from China but it’s got great reviews. I installed it at the beginning of the year and it has worked without any issues. It was under $300. I didn’t want to spend $1000 on one so I figured I would give this a try. I think they have 1.5 din units as well.
  3. Having the Bluetooth is a very nice feature for sure. We never used are original dash radio but after changing it out to a unit with Bluetooth we stream Sirius all the time while traveling now. With all the technology now it seems we are always upgrading something in the Motorhome but it is fun to do.
  4. I Always look at marketplace on Facebook before I buy anything it’s amazing what you can find. This is near me and I think it’s the same one you bought.
  5. I don’t have many dislikes but one thing comes to mind immediately and that is the location of the one fuel filter on the ISL 400. I have posted about this a few times before being located right above the starter and a pain to change out without getting soaked with diesel fuel. One of the main and many positives that comes to mind is how well it drives on the road. My previous Motorhome was a Fleetwood Discovery non tag and it drove ok but when I drove this it was like night and day. The Dynasty is very stable, no rocking from side to side when turning and very little movement if any when being passed by 18 wheelers. It just feels solid on the road.
  6. As far as the ISL 400 and having enough power we just came back from a 5000 mile trip out west. It was the first time with this motorhome in some real mountains and it had plenty of power. We went west of Denver on I-70 through the Eisenhower tunnel and some other long step grades and she preformed well and the two stage engine brake worked fantastic as well. It’s a 42’ tag axle so it weighs more than a 40’ tag that you are looking for. I averaged 7.7 mpg for the entire trip and I was happy with that.
  7. I have the Sony system in the front that still works good but the system in the bedroom was taken out so I had to find something. I went to the local thrift store that had a lot of electronics and found this Sony system that is very similar to the one up front. It was like brand new. You just have to fine a unit that has speaker connections on the back. It has worked great and now we have a home theater in the bedroom.
  8. I ended up installing the new (used) gauge and it fixed the problem so if you have a gauge that is acting like mine in the video there’s a high likelihood it’s the gauge.
  9. Just as a follow up I ended up purchasing these led bulbs and they are much brighter. They don’t flicker which I saw in a lot of reviews with others so if you have a coach around the same years they should work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V67K1L7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
  10. I have found the same is true for mine. The low side never seems to get up to the correct pressure for the ambient temperature. My gauges hook up right at the compressor so I would think it should be at the correct pressure. Once the high side gets to the correct pressure and the air coming out of the vents is 20 degrees colder then the air going in and the evaporator is dripping condensation I’m good.
  11. I also use the Open Roads TSD for quite some time. I like the fact you don’t have to go inside and it pumps fast. Over the years the discount has progressively got lower but still decent and flying J dropped off the list totally. I try and go to Travel America because it usually gives the best discount and even if I didn’t get any discount I would still use it just for the convenience.
  12. Nice job Brad, I’m sure your glad it’s done and I’m sure you saved a lot of cash doing it yourself.
  13. I would not get gauges from Harbor freight. I purchased one many years ago and I had nothing but problems with them. I found a set of Yellow Jacket gauges used on Marketplace for $50 and they have been outstanding. Maybe they are making them better now but it wasn’t the case when I purchased them many years ago.
  14. I contacted David Lindenlaub at Actia and he was very helpful troubleshooting and giving me lots of information about the gauge. He was 99% positive it was the gauge. He forwarded the information to Michelle a technician there and she told me basically they can’t do anything for me. She didn’t offer to fix it or anything. She told me to check Northwest RV supply and they had one gauge in stock for $100 so I ordered it so hopefully this will fix the problem. Northwest RV seems to be a good source for some parts.
  15. When I bought my Dynasty with a 10k Onan the guy had just replaced the control board and said it was $1000. So does it get wet or is there something you can do to prevent it from failing? Is the one from Flight systems sealed better?
  16. June of last year I posted about an electrical problem I was having with circuit breakers blowing. It ended up being a combination of things including a new plug and new inverter. At that time I went through the entire electrical system and retightened everything in the panel and ATS so I know everything is good. Regarding this problem I think the heat in the back was the problem. When we left to come home it was nice and cold in the back bedroom and stayed that way the entire trip home. The rear air was on the entire time and the breaker never blew. When I left from home on the trip it was already warm back there and once the engine was running the ac just couldn’t keep up and it got real hot back there including the breaker panel. So I think the key is in very hot weather run your air conditioners to get it nice and cool before you start your engine. Thanks for all the help on this problem.
  17. Noel, congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the site. We live just south of the airport as well. We have a lot of friends that work for Delta including my son, he hired on about a year ago so now we have flight privileges so we are going to take advantage of that.
  18. Interesting I did not know this was a problem but it makes sense. I will have to try and cool the breaker panel some how.
  19. My main panel is in the rear bedroom where the engine is and it got hot back there while we were traveling.
  20. I had my motorhome sitting in the driveway plugged in at my house for a few days before we left and had the rear ac on with no issues. We had a 6 hour drive to Gulf Shores and had the generator on the entire time with the front and rear air on the entire trip because it was so hot. During the trip the rear ac circuit breaker tripped twice the front ac was fine. When I arrived at the campground I thought the breaker might be getting weak or something but we have been here now for 3 days and it has been running nonstop with no problems. I have a 10k generator and during the trip no major things except the two roof airs and I’m sure the charger was charging the batteries but nothing else major was on. I am confused why it would only trip with the Geny
  21. So I know this can be a touchy subject but I had to chime in and give a user’s experience with this Norcold 1200 with the 12 volt compressor conversion. I am currently in Gulf Shores Alabama ( I’m not sure why we came here with this heat) but it’s been in the upper 90’s and a heat index of 112-114 every day. You can’t even be outside from 11-5 during the day. Anyways this fridge has been rock steady at 36-40 and -5 to 5 in the freezer. I currently have it on the number 4 setting. I can’t say enough about how well this thing has been performing and I don’t know how much more stress you can put on it. Now my gaskets and door hinges are in good shape for the age so I know that’s a huge factor. So all I’m saying if your box is in good shape I would recommend this conversion and not have to modify any cabinets because it preforms just like a residential.
  22. I have sprayed multiple spots on mine and it’s very tedious work. I buy the Spray Max 2k it’s not as good as from a spray gun but not bad for doing small areas. If you can spray between paint lines it looks much better. You have to sand right where it’s peeling without going into the part that’s already peeled ( easier said than done) I use 600 on the edges to start then go to 1000 grit to sand the area you want to paint beyond that but not the part that’s already peeled. I then use 1500 or 2000 grit very lightly (just a few passes) on the peeled area…..all of this is wet sanding I forgot to mention. I then put 4 or 5 light coats on and it turns out pretty good. Darker paint colors turns out much better than lighter paint. Is it as good as a shop would do and last as long? No, but it’s a cheap way to touch up some bad spots. A good place to start or try is the roof line radius, it always starts to peel up there and if you don’t do that great of a job it’s hard to see from down below and good practice.
  23. Ok thanks for the clarification. We both own 2006 Monaco’s but they work totally different…go figure
  24. So I have a question my ATC light is always on it never blinks or anything. I never press the switch and tried to use it but I’m not sure it’s supposed to illuminated all the time.
