  1. you need to identify what Model Transfer Switch your coach has.
  2. Take look at the RVI3 auxiliary brake system. I have been using one for over six years and never a problem. Small, light and easy to set up,LESS THAN A MINUTE. Great customer service also.
  3. Foretravel introduced the ih-45 in 2012, The coach is a custom built coach. When you spec'd out the coach to be built you had a choice of either a lifting tag axle or a steerable tag axle. All the ih-45 coaches are built with the HWH Active AIr Suspension system and IFS. The HWH Active Air System is quite the system and make driving the coach a very comfortable amazing driving experience. Foretravel discontinued the lifting tag axle in 2018 and now only the steerable tag axle is available. The REALM that is built on the new SPARTAN GT Chassis has the steerable tag and active air system. The Entegra Cornerstone and the NEWMAR Essex and King air that are built on the SPARTAN GT chassis also have the Steerable Tag axle and active air system.
  4. The Foretravel ih-45 is built from the ground up. it has an all steel welded house structure that is welded to the chassis. IFS front suspension and all the air bags are mounted outboard in line with the tires. The roof is a welded steel truss design.
  5. This Coach was showcased-back in January and was supposed to be on display at the Tampa Super Show. It did not make the show because of some Technical Difficulties. Newell does make a very fine coach. After watching the Video and comparing all the amenities that were presented I thought I was watching a Video of my Foretravel. Foretravel has all these systems Integrated into the ih-45 and some in the Realm. The Quality of a Foretravel is superb and the Foretravel Factory Support is excellent. We looked at the Newell prior to purchasing our ih-45 and I just could not see where in the Newell Justification for an additional million bucks. After four years of owning our ih-45 we know we made the right choice. We have put over Forty Thousand miles on our coach with very few issues and all were minor or operator Error. The ih-45,like a Newell and a Prevost Conversion require a whole new learning curve to operate and be familiar with all the technology that these coaches have.
  6. The other solenoid is failing and will need to be replaced. Sometimes it is best to replace both solenoids for any particular slide when they start acting up like you describe. Replace the solenoid and purchase a spare to have when another one fails.
  7. There has been megabytes of discussions about the POS IOTA Transfer Switch on all of the different Groups, Forums etc. ever since the recall came out and ALSO the testimonials of owners who have had issues and caught them before a catastrophe occurred or after they lost their coach to a fire from the failed IOTA TS. If someone owns a coach that still has the IOTA TS and does not want to budget the couple of hundred dollars it will take to get rid of it and be safe, then shame on them, they are on a FOOLS ERRAND to think Tragedy may not strike them. All the posting and warnings will not change the thinking. The OP stateD that he has the POS but does not have the budget to replace it. Nothing more needs to be said. I hope the advice that has been shared in this discussion may lead to a solution for the OP. YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER, BUT YOU CANNOT MAKE HIM DRINK!
  8. His problem is he still has the IOTA transfer Switch that was recalled because it was a piece of JUNK and has caused the loss of many Motor Coaches to Fire when the switch fails. The Switch has failed, SIMPLE TO CHECK, Remove the cover of the switch and check to see if you have voltage from the pedestal or the generator going in and then check the voltage coming out to the panel. There has been a lot of info posted on the IOTA Transfer switch and the problem with it and the damage it has caused. Get rid of it NOW before something serious does happen. All the Maintenance suggestion of tighten terminals and wires will not stop the IOTA Transfer Switch from failing. It is not a matter of will it fail, but just a matter of when! It is an expense you should not put off.
  9. Have you done a Master Reset for the HWH System. Do that first before you keep shooting in the dark.
  10. Another ATS to take into consideration is the SURGEGUARD Series of ATS/Surge Protection switches. The SurgeGuard 40250, 40350 and the 40450. These ATS switches combine the Transfer Switch and Surge Protection in one unit. They are a little pricey but offer great protection. These SURGEGUARD ATS Units are installed in most of the higher end Coaches such as PREVOST, NEWELL and FORETRAVEL. These SURGEGUARD Automatic Transfer Switch models are available with maximum spike current from 26,400A – 130,000A, and surge suppression from 2600 Joules – 3350 Joules. The SURGEGUARD ATS Units are also Field Serviceable. Here is some info and specs; Transfers to generator power automatically when energized after 30 second delay (generator mode). When both shore and generator power are available , generator dominates after a 30 second delay. Once generator shuts down, shore power activates after 3 second delay. Total electrical protection from faulty park power Provides protection against: Power surges Open ground Open neutral Low (<102V) and high (>132V) voltage Reverse polarity Miswired pedestal High and low frequency Multi-mode surge suppression RVC communications allows instant display of voltage, current, and fault conditions on an RVC compatible device Indicator lights on front of ATS indicate presence of input power for L1 and L2 Optional remote power monitor LCD Display (Part number 40299 sold separately) Displays voltage and amp draw (RMS) Easy to navigate faults in plain English 65A, FLA mechanical interlocking contactors UL approved – UL1008 full transfer switch rating UL/CUL listed
  11. The Contract with Lazydays for the 2022 Gathering Registration Fee is an all Inclusive price that includes your Site, Seminars and the Evening Buffets for the Entire Gathering's Five days and includes discounts and amenities and are contingent on a minimum of 50 coaches attending that otherwise would not be included in Lazydays regular site charges. I would suggest that you call Lazydays and discuss your situation and see if something can be worked out. You will want to speak to either Rebecca Proper or Brooke Daley at 813-246-4999. They are our event Coordinators and may be able to help you. I cannot change the contract or make that call.
  12. If you do not have the Chassis Multiplex you are lucky. There is a row of circuit breakers mounted in the top of the Front Run bay and the 30amp circuit breaker may be located there. There is also a 20amp fuse in the RRB(rear run bay) located in circuit board #3 top center of the board. it is fuse F2 and marked AC Comp Clutch.
  13. There is no fuse for the Dash AC. There is a 30amp Circuit Breaker and is part of the chassis MUX system in the front run bay. The CB may be an auto resetting CB. When you find it check to make sure you are getting voltage into it as well as out of it. Most of the 12vdc systems go thru the Chassis MUX.
  14. I was able to contact the Event Coordinator for the 2022 Gathering and confirmed why the changes in the cost. The original cost for the Gathering of $498.40 did include all taxes and is for 2 adults attending. The $403.92 cost is for just 1 adult and includes all taxes. I misunderstood that it was inclusive and will make the change in the information posted. Lazydays made an error on the taxes and adjusted the All Inclusive Rate to reflect this mistake and it reduced the cost by $4.27. The new cost is $494.13 as reflected on your statement.
  15. Dave, After looking at your Statement, I see that the only issue is that it is less than the rate that I was originally quoted and it includes taxes. The original quote was $498.13 plus taxes and was for the Site with 2 adults and includes all the evening meals and Seminars. If there is only one adult then you will only pay $403.92 plus taxes. I do not know if the person that took your Reservation made a mistake and did not charge the rate that was originally agreed upon in the contract. I will call Lazydays on Monday and find out why the change or if there was a mistake made and get it corrected. Also, in the past for the Gatherings, Lazydays did not require a Deposit in advance when you made your reservation and charged you the full amount when you arrived. They now require a 50% deposit when you make your reservation and send you an Itemized statement of the charges. Lazydays will collect the balance when you arrive for the Gathering. The original Quoted price for the gathering was $498.40 plus taxes. your statement total is for $494.13 and includes taxes so it is a win for you if it was not a mistake. I will post what I find out and make any corrections necessary in the information that is posted. AS OF TODAY OVER HALF OF THE SITES FOR THE GATHERING HAVE BEEN RESERVED! IF YOU ARE GOING TO ATTEND THE GATHERING MAKE YOUR RESERVATION EARLY!
  16. The rates that were posted in the original notice was; Couples - $498.40 plus tax, Two adults per coach, pets included. The rate is all inclusive. This rate includes your site, all the seminars and the evening buffets. The breakfast is a no charge item provided by Lazydays. Read the information in the original post it is covered in the information and instructions. It appears that Lazydays may have reduced the rate after I posted the Information and Agenda to the Forum. It appears they have reduced the rate, I will contact Lazydays on Monday for confirmation on the rates and notify everyone of any other changes, if any.
  17. Darren, The Hydraulic motor and Hydraulic Reservoir Tank and Solenoids are one unit and in your coach will be located under the Entry Step. To access the pump and reservoir assembly you have to lift the step cover and remove the cover/storage in the step. There is a fill cap on the reservoir. Check the fluid level with all the slides in. If you are having and issue with only one slide then more than likely one of the solenoids has failed or is failing. There is no pressure regulator in the HWH system, all slide-outs are controlled by the solenoids, there is a high pressure switch that locks the slide out in with hydraulic pressure. The solenoids are easy to change, it is just difficult because of the location of the hydraulic pump assembly. Your HWH Operating Manual has a trouble shooting section and also shows you how to replace the solenoids. If you do not have a Manual you can download one off the Internet or we may have the Manual in our files.
  18. PLEASE NOTE: Lazydays is now accepting reservations for the Bill D's 2022 MONACOERS GATHERING as of JUNE 7th 2021. Please follow the instructions to REGISTER in the The Information Section of the Schedule and Seminar Agenda here: Once you make your reservation, please RSVP on the Monacoers.org site calendar (here). This allows us to keep a record of everyone attending and ensure your reservation with Lazydays is included in the group.
  19. When Lazydays announces that will begin taken reservation for the Gathering, my suggestion is that anyone that is contemplating coming to the 2022 Gathering should make your reservation ASAP. All of the information is in the Flyer, Follow the instructions as written. The cancellation policy is in the instructions and I will insert it here; Cancellation Policy: All reservations may be cancelled with no penalty until one (1) month prior to your arrival date. Reservations cancelled less than one (1) month prior will incur a 50% penalty. For no calls or no shows, no refund will be given. As Scotty said in a prior post, Based on the level of interest I’ve experienced so far, I think our allocation of slots will be used up pretty quickly. So get your reservation in early and if you need to cancel just follow the cancellation policy. I have 40 sites blocked for the 2022 Gathering and Lazydays will only have other sites available only if they are not booked up, but you may not be parked with the group if you are not in the initial 40 sites.
  20. Thank you for posting the outcome. Always great to hear when a plan comes together.
  21. When you do go to JOSAM's for the repairs remind Barry that you want them to check the front and rear wheel alignment on the coach when they have completed the repairs.
  22. You will not be able to add Cross bars to the Front on that Model coach. The generator location prohibits that installation. You can only add them to the rear and that will make a difference. .
  23. On all the older Monaco Coaches with airbags the method used to control the air pressure in the airbags is controlled by the ride height valves on each axle. The air system will put whatever air pressure is necessary into the airbags to maintain the correct ride height as you travel. It is very important that you maintain the correct ride height for you model coach. How your weight is distributed plays a major roll in how the air bags manage the ride height. This is another reason to have your coach weighed on all corners to try and get as much weight evenly distributed over the axles for better handling. The airbags will handle whatever air pressure you system operates on while traveling.
