  1. Toyo M144 i run them on the steer tires too. 2000 Dynasty 40’
  2. The light in my water fill/ dump compartment has a switch on the fixture itself. 2000 Dynasty 40’
  3. Also you may just be able to just clean or file the contacts. They may be burnt a little bit. Hope that helps.
  4. Take a pic of one relay, label each wire to the terminals. Also make a drawing of it. Take the relay to a well stocked electrical supply (Grainger possibly) for them to do a matchup with the same amount of contacts and a 120vac coil. I would not think it would have to be rated over 30 amps. IMHO . It probably won’t look the same but hopefully you’ll be able to mount it in the same enclosure .
  5. To used ribbon caulk on the plastic flange. Bu leave weep holes on bottom edge to allow any moisture out that gets in through the vent.
  6. Is the thermostat set for a/c in that zone and at a cool enough temperature to bring it on? If so try to switch it to the fan only mode. If it runs, then I’d look toward a capacitor in the unit itself.
  7. Mine is under the fridge. 2000 Dynasty .
  8. Check out the RV Salvage sites online.
  9. Before you tear into it run an extension cord from a good power source to the microwave to see if runs. Jim 2000 Dynasty
  10. FYI It’s a water heater. Hot water doesn’t need heated 🤪. I think you’re going to get it sanitized with the process. Just be sure to drain and fill your tanks at least twice with fresh water to clean out the bleach. Bleach is also rough on rubber seals. Don’t leave it in there very long. Jim 2000 Dynasty
  11. Toyo for sure. Nothing is a “ good “ price now.
  12. Have you ever re-calibrated the tank sensors? It’s done with the touch pad buttons on the tank indication panel. If I remember right, you hold the button till it flashes ( I think) on the tank that is full. Then empty out completely an hold the button again. Hope that helps. My tank levels were off an that fixed them. You can do the reverse process on your fresh water tank (or others if you like). Just don’t over fill the black or grey tanks.😭😡🤬 Jim 2000 Dynasty
  13. I replaced my cooling coil about three years ago with the 110 v compressor unit. Did it myself. If you are handy you can. JC was very helpful if I had a question during the installation. Just called them. FYI Get a couple of extra cans of foam and more aluminum tape if you do it yourself. I foamed and taped mine well. Compressor is not a problem with the inverter. It uses very little power. When boon docking I’ll be running the generator some of the time anyway. That keeps the batteries up too. I’m happy with my unit. No problems . No fires. 14. On my 2000 Dynasty there are drain tubes under my AquaHot location that drain condensation from my A/C’s and refrigerator.
  15. Why would you hook it up to power when you don’t know what it’s going to???? That’s kind of lighting a match to see if there’s gas in the tank.😩
  16. Should have changed the to the electric Amish compressor/ coil unit. I did the 120V one three years ago myself. If I ran into a problem I just called JC and they walked me through it. Works great. Just needed to replace the control board on installation. ( My Old board was smoked when the old unit died. ) Thank goodness the recall was done so it shut down when the ammonia started leaking out. (Safety switch.) Absorption units burn down coaches and travel trailers. They don’t get as cold either. 👎🏻 Jim 2000 Monaco Dynasty
  17. What Vito says. Valvoline ATF Dex/Merc .Recommend for the Liberty trans too Jim 2000 Dynasty/ 2004 Liberty Toad
  18. I had to remove the lower door panel on mine when that happened. Found that the linkage came apart so I put it back and secured it with a large black Tyrap (zip tie). Haven’t had any more problems. Two years now. Hope that helps. Also lubricate everything that moves in there Jim 2000 Monaco Dynasty
  19. Yes age and condition of tires should be looked at closely before the trip across country. A ten year old tire with lots of tread and smooth sidewalks might look great but it’s going to fail on you. You might just order new tires now and get them installed there. I have a 2000 Dynasty 40’ (No tag). I carry about 1/2 tank of water when traveling. You can always find potable water. I put on six new Toyo’s (H) rated. Same size all the way around 295/75R 22.5/16 M170. Lot of motorhomes running them now.Great reviews Replaced the Goodyear’s (G rated). Also had counteracting beads ( 10 oz. bags) installed in each tire when they mounted them. I running 100psi all tires. Smooth riding tires. By the way I sold my old ones to a trucker to run on his trailer for $300. (Better than nothing ). I’m in the south an used Southern Tire Mart. Tires, mounting ,balance beads, labor and tax $2689.19. You’re going to replace them anyway. Why wait and have a blowout that will cause damage to the rig or kill you. JMHO Stay safe and enjoy your “new “ coach Jim 2000 Dynasty Jeep Liberty Toad
  20. I had a TV that was mounted I a cabinet on the drivers side. You have to take off the trim wood. The bottom of the cabinet was level. Well,......there’s a tilled shelf inside the TV sits on. So when I took the trim off all of a sudden the heavy analog TV started to come out on me. I had no help so I had to reach in and unplug it while holding the thing. So like the previous poster says. Get help. I put a 40” flat screen there mounted on a articulating mount. Located a block of 2x6” wood and secured in the box to mount the stand. Took lots of measurements to locate it so I could close the TV up tight against the cabinet and swing it out a little towards the center of coach. Still have access in cabinet. Left the old trim off. TV covers the hole. Just strap it up against the cabinet when traveling. Jim 2000 Dynasty 40’
  21. Good advice Jim Bob. It will be something simple.
  22. And probably getting paid $15 to 20 a hour. Good thing that clerk isn’t going to be a doctor.😳
  23. Going to get a huge amount of opinions on this one. I use this site for technical and repair help mostly. If I can help someone else in a subject, I’ll respond. Not a” Club “ guy. Don’t do rallies. Travel solo ( no groups. They’re almost military). Thanks for the great site Scotty, best one I know of for Monaco owners. o
  24. Again as Oreally says. Also the ign and acc relays are the ones I mentioned in the front run panel upper left. Make sure the fuses are good for ignition. They’re in that run panel. Its going to be something simple. You’ll find it. Jim 2000 Dynasty 40’ Sorry I meant solenoids not relays.
