  1. Looking over how far we've come in the last two years, I wanted to reach out to everyone and ask for your thoughts on "what's next"? - We've been able to make major improvements to the search functionality of the site. If you haven't tried it in the last month or two, try again and I think you'll find the results much more useful. - There is a mobile app under development, but I can't give you a definite date when we will get it. I got to play with the "beta" version last summer, but it was pulled to make final improvements before release. - There is a feature called "Clubs" in our website that we don't use. Clubs are sort of a website within a website, with their own membership, forums, etc. https://invisioncommunity.com/features/clubs/ Do you see value in having different "Clubs" within the site? That could play out a few different ways: Monaco Club, Beaver Club, Safari Club, etc... to focus on specific brands under the Monaco umbrella. Is there enough difference or special discussion that would make that worthwhile? Clubs by coach: Knight Club, Diplomat, Dynasty, Executive, Signature, etc... I've seen a few of these on other sites and social media and wondered if there is any desire for them here. Again, are they enough topics unique to your model coach that would make this useful? - There is a Commerce component to the site that we don't currently use. (i.e., We have the capability of having a store and selling stuff.) Any desire for that? I've thought about apparel items, camping flags, tags, etc., and have done this with other organizations I've been involved with. Any interest there? https://invisioncommunity.com/features/commerce/ What else could we do that would make this site more useful to you? I look forward to hearing your suggestions. Sincerely, Scotty
  2. Those are the two most popular files, but there is so much more!! Tech Tips: https://www.monacoers.org/files/category/33-monaco-technical-tips/ Parts List: https://www.monacoers.org/files/category/16-parts-list/ To reach these and others files, click on "Browse", then "Downloads" at the top left of any page. If you are using a mobile device, you may have to turn it sideways (landscpte mode) to see the menu on the right of the screen that shows all of the categories for files. Hope that helps! Scotty
  3. This happens with my (sticks and bricks) basement TV all the time. In my case I've narrowed it down to the Roku... Apparently the Roku plugged into HDMI can turn the TV on when the TV senses a signal from the Roku. I haven't gotten to *why* the Roku is doing that... I just blame it on the dog stepping on the remote. 😉
  4. The vendors speaking at the seminars are listed on the agenda above. The food is all provided by Lazydays and is included in the registration fee.
  5. There are a lot of fun things to do with the kids in and around Tampa (Busch Gardens, beaches, etc.), and the weather is usually really nice! There's an indoor pool and a playground at Lazydays right next to the conference room. I'll defer to @David Pratt, but I think we could work out the girls joining us for meals (I suspect they'd be bored to tears at the sessions. 🤣). Because we are inside the 30-day window, unfortunately it is non-refundable (for everyone) at this point. In earlier times, as a Georgia resident I would have made a joke about the Georgia-Florida border closing, but since that happened during the pandemic for a while, it's not as funny as it once was... Typically yes. It's been held at Lazydays just outside of Tampa, FL, since the inception. We have had smaller Gatherings - one in Mississippi at the casinos south of Memphis (Tunica), and one out west, but they were before my time, so I don't have much info about them. We would need someone who lives in the area to step up and put it together with local vendors as speakers if we were to have one in another part of the country. Dave Pratt lives in Central Florida, and most of the vendors who come speak are from the Central Florida area. There's always been interest in having it in other parts of the country, but only a few times have we had someone step up and organize one. If anyone is interested in putting together a Monacoers' Gathering in another part of the country, please reach out to @David Pratt or myself to discuss it.

  7. Confirming 45°F. That’s where I keep mine for storage in cold weather.
  8. The Monaco part number (9276) is no longer available from REV. You’ve got some good options above, but here’s one more: https://shop.findmyrvparts.com/monaco-rv-plunger-switch-16613766-p/190029.htm
  9. I haven't done a 12 hr day driving except a couple of times going to FL, but I'm definitely a "get there before my head hits the pillow" person. 🙂 That may change when I retire from my day job... Scotty
  10. I don’t think it’s still available. The part number for the replacement is Sanicon part number 70400. Lots of places list them, but no one seems to have them in stock. The new ones look like a single piece of injection molded black plastic. Mine looks like it was made from off-the-shelf pvc parts. I’ll try to get a better picture…. You might be able to make one!
  11. No, it’s not a Turbo. I have the same one and have looked at the Turbo, which has a larger pump and larger hose.
  12. Ok, with the help of my non-color-blind wife, I think the mauve should be gone. Apparently your webmaster can't tell the difference in mauve and gray.
  13. You shouldn’t have to do it again. Almost 4 years after replacing my broken gear with the Delmatoff fix, mine still works great. I need to reach out and see if he has a fix for the Shoreline electric cord reel…. Mine hasn’t broken, but it is starting to get wimpy…
  14. I got around to checking my microwave receptacle per Steven’s recommendation today… All I can say is Thank God we didn’t burn the motorhome down!! Replaced outlet with a 20a single outlet in shallow old-work box, and replaced plug on microwave cord with 15a rated plug. (Yes, I put a cover on the outlet, but forgot to take a pic after it was all finished.)
  15. Saw this in the FMCA Tech Talk newsletter and thought it worth sharing: https://myrvresource.com/ Directory Of RV Service Pros Jason and Lisa Carletti ― the first husband-and-wife team to be certified as master RV inspectors by the National Recreational Vehicle Inspectors Association ― operate a website that gives RV owners and shoppers a place to find trusted professionals who offer a wide array of RV services. The site lists more than 6,000 companies across 15 categories, including RVs for sale and RV-related job postings. RV owners who sign up for a free account receive access to more features, such as enhanced filtering of service types and searching for RV technicians who offer specific services, among them furnace or water heater repair, towable inspection, and more. 16. I had a 34’ (actual length ~36’) Holiday Rambler Vacationer (gasser) pulling a Honda Pilot for several years. Mileage stayed in the 8-9 MPG range, got around 10 with no toad. Admittedly, I drove faster (around the speed limit) than I do now with the Dip. I’ve taken the advice of others on here over the years and slowed it down. I enjoy the trip more, have a lot less stress, and get better fuel economy.
  17. Ok. When I get home I’ll have the non-color-blind person in the house help me straighten it out. 🤣 Thanks for bringing it to my attention… I would have never known!🤪
  18. Hmmm…. Let me know. I made a few tweaks yesterday to several things on the site - mainly to improve searches, but I did have to change the template some. It’s supposed to be gray, no pink… but then I’m a bit color-blind, according to my darling wife…
  19. I’ll climb under and take pics tomorrow…
  20. Cliff, at the risk of sounding too, simple, check the dump valve exhaust ports for dirt daubers or other obstructions. My 2006 Dip won’t dump in 90 seconds, but it does dump completely on about 2-3 min. And yes, I lived with slow dumping for about two years before I cleaned out those ports. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  21. So if a fellow wears neither, what does that make him? 🤣
  22. Ok, I've made some changes to the site, and the system is rebuilding the search index without the Newsletters. The search function may not work properly for several hours beginning at bout 1:00 am eastern time on Saturday 12/11/2021. I've also stopped archiving Newsletters and deleted the archives, as that was 100% duplicated content. I've also upgraded the site to the newest release, which supposedly had some search engine improvements. Let's see if that helps! Scotty
  23. Thanks guys! I’ve noticed the same. I’ll see if there’s a way to exclude it from searches and report back.
