  1. Hi Richard, I cut the switch apart so it is just down to the pins, then desolder them one at a time. It helps to have a good solder/desolder station. Paul
  2. Good links Bruce! I have bought replacement joysticks from Mouser before and Digikey did not have any at the time. Mouser's stock was getting low, but it looks like there has been more received, so that is good news. They can be a bit of a chore to remove, depending on what equipment/skills you have, but fairly straightforward. Richard, I had the same symptoms and fixed mine by soldering in a new joystick. Paul
  3. Hi Robert, I have a few. I’ll Pm you my phone number. Paul
  4. I worked on another keypad today where the programming for one key position was not what it was supposed to be. It is easy to fix once diagnosed, but something for us to keep in mind when troubleshooting. Paul
  5. Mike sent me his keypad. I read the program off it and saved it for later. Then I programmed in my test switch panel config and tested each switch. No Problem Found. I reviewed the original program, and the key for Aquahot 110V was programmed to send the wrong code compared to the wiring diagrams. I have reprogrammed the switch to send the correct code to the CPU, and it is on its way back to Mike. I also prgramssed a spare switch on the panel for the same function, so Mike has a backup key if that same one loses the correct code. I have not seen this issue before, but expect this will fix it. Paul
  6. To be clear, when I repair the gauges, I remove and re-install the bezel. You can see this has happened from the rear, but not when it is installed. I 3D printed a mount to protect the bezel. I posted the print on Monacoers.org for the DIY people with access to a 3D printer. Paul
  7. The gauges are just diary chained together. On mine one wire from another gauge or the cluster into C, then one from D to E, then one wire from F to G. H remains open. Whichever way the cables fit/route easiest. Paul
  8. I rebuild them, but if Faria still does it, send it to them as they likely have a supply of bezels which I don’t. I am traveling out of the country for most of December, so if you need it soon, PM me. Paul
  9. @Frank McElroy and I can fix most Intellitec issues. We have backups of most, if not all, years. We can backup and program CPU’s and switch panels. I have helped an owner whose Intellitec CPU was water damaged get his coach operational again. I have been successful at replacing faulty switches on switch panels. I will happily make you a backup or program a CPU or switch panel for you. No charge. I have a small number of Intellitec spares, including CPU’s, that I have bought when I can find them. I don’t need more than one, but I buy them so other owners can keep their coaches working. I will sell them to you if you need them. I charge to replace switches on switch panels. It takes a while to do and verify they are operational. I have also been successful at repairing the Faria Beede gauges in the 2005+ Signatures and Execs. I charge for that too as it takes time to open up the gauges and do the repair then reseal them and test them. I shared all the info here so owners could do it themselves if they were so equipped. Any money I get is only used to buy more equipment or for other RV projects that often help others. Paul
  10. Hi Dennis, I was not suggesting buying the gateway. That was the simplest way to show people what the gateway looked like. I sent you a PM. Paul
  11. On the Faria systems, the air lines terminate at the Faria Gateway. The Gateway also has other sensors/transducers as well as an interface to the J1939 bus. On our 2005 Signature, the Faria Gateway is mounted on the ceiling of the first or second bay on the Driver's side. Faria Gateway GW0015A - Northwest RV Supply (nwrvsupply.com) Paul
  12. My gauges continue to operate fine after the fixes. The time consuming part is removing the bezel and crimping it back. Paul
  13. This matches the top and bottom hinge. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154214828243 DA61-03230B Samsung Hinge OEM DA61-03230B My bottom one broke and I 3D printed one which I installed on the top without the spring. I also ordered the one above and it is a match. I’ll take a look at the middle hinge tomorrow Paul
  14. You should come through the Atlanta area and stop in so we can take a look. Paul
  15. I was able to do that because our motorhome had one that failed. I don’t have access to a Thetford Tecma mechanism. Paul
  16. H Buzz, Do you mean the 110V outlet for the Tv that is disabled when the ignition is turned on? Paul
  17. I have replaced the joystick on some. I think I have some spares too. Best is to repair yours as I have seen a couple different models (with and without beepers), but I think they are all compatible. I even got better at printing the bezels. Please PM me if interested. Paul
  18. I mounted my BMK shunt by the inverter. Paul
  19. Do you have another one of the same modules? You could switch them over by setting the dip switches on each module. And see if the issue follows the module. Paul
  20. Hi Ray, We have found that the need for the kit is not really important, and not worth the price it would end up being for me to put together and support. The same program was used for all coaches in the same year, and we typically have backups of a coach that will work on yours if the controller were to fail. Also the failure rate of the controller is very low. The two I know about that failed we’re caused by water intrusion or 120v on the multiplex bus. I don’t charge for backups or programming your equipment. I do charge for repairs (to keypads) or if I have sourced a keypad or controller and you would like to buy it. My phone number is on my profile, or PM me. I am north of Atlanta. Paul
  21. Marinesan.com is another supplier. https://marinesan.com/base-seals-m-o-plug/ Paul
  22. @Scotty Hutto just up the road is Sleepy Hollow Rebuilders. 13357 Cumming Hwy Cumming, GA 30040 (770) 887-2649. Ira is second gen and took over after his Dad retired. He has always been very fair with me. Paul
  23. The mounts are an Intec part, but I believe they only sell them with their cameras. I will take a look to see what I have here, especially as you are mounting one of my camera kits in it. 😀 Let’s talk tomorrow. Paul
