  1. The units are heavy, I can see not going overboard for sure Not to hijack, you’ll appreciate this https://www.wsj.com/articles/at-ford-quality-is-now-problem-1-11659758404 Ford set aside 4 billion dollars in 2021 for warranty repairs, 4 billion
  2. I’d never guessed that. Thanks! For me, seal starts to squish, say “click” out loud and call it good. Used the new 1 piece rubber seals BTW, awesome
  3. Will a commercial engine fit your application? There a few 330 ISL online. Not sure if a software bump takes them to 400? any pics of your coach? Super intrigued as we are close in year and length, models diff
  4. Yeah I don’t fear the Capps. It looks like a lot of suppliers of reman pumps are getting them out of china. You can jump on alibaba and get one direct for $1800 these days. But it’s seems that it’s general consensus that fuel delivery is key, and you Have that solved
  5. Not necessarily the wrong people, as the not experienced people. I’ll be honest, just going over what you’ve said, I believe you will be the one with the most knowledge on this no matter where you go. To me, your best bet will be to find a shop/person who will sit down, take the time, and map out a solution. A person that will be excited/intrigued by the whole process. If you start piecing it all together, some work here, there, I think you’ll run into trouble.
  6. Restore Plus. I was only worried about rust/scale. I did get about a solo cup full of gunk. Regular Restore is for Silica, gelling. Ford (motorcraft) gold coolant was a culprit for clogged oil coolers in the 6.0/6.4 and the Restore was awesome at removing the gel, before you installed a new cooler, LOL. For me it was to ditch the SCA all together. I do my own maintenance and it was one less test, one less filter to carry/order/install.
  7. Looking more like I’ll spend the $1000 for new 60+ hp injectors rather than electronics
  8. That I don’t know. I haven’t pursued it much farther than the ad. Also, I believe the AG diesel is the same chip.
  9. This is on my to do list https://www.usdieselchips.com/cummins-isc-8.3/ And there’s also these https://bkdiesel.com/i-30497580-8-3l-cummins-injector-60hp.html
  10. You’re miles ahead of any thoughts I’d have. All I have to offer is opinions, and mine are not worth much. If you search around, there are some very smart bus mechanics online. There’s a super sharp guy out of Canada on a paid platform, not YouTube. I’d have to go back and find it. Anyway I’ve watched some of his videos on the ISC repairs, he would know way more on the info you seek.
  11. These 2 sites have helped a lot of people. https://www.tadibrothers.com/ https://www.rvcams.com
  12. Marine plywood, if you can find it in the proper thickness. I couldn’t, so regular plywood is what I put down, 3 sheets worth

    New toad-Jeep JKU

Got my Used AFE bumper on, in love. Also got the new radio/speakers in, but the Maestro unit will not talk to the head unit….. and got to take the jeep out today. Didn’t make it to our destination, road was a little more intense than time allowed
  14. That’s awesome! The 3060 was a work horse when we had them back in the early 90s. Glad your problem was fixable
  15. Yeah it’s oil fill. Mine comes all the way out to the right side with the dipstick. I don’t like it as I think is twists and backs off allowing oil to come out the cover. With a rear Rad I don’t have access like you do! Very envious
  16. Yeah bought the whole unit from etrailer. Wasn’t a bad job at all.
  17. Replaced mine with a lippert. I think talked about under my thread under the mod section
