  1. A friend is looking at a 05 Executive that has a AHE 100-03S, he called asking me about the 03S, I don’t know anything about them, came anyone please fill me in on these. Much appreciated
  2. I would check the air governor for proper operation. I would replace the purge valve next, jmo. This might help. https://www.wabco-customercentre.com/catalog/docs/mm34_web.pdf
  3. Have you googled 275/70/22.5 tires, I just did and had several choices……
  4. The second picture looks like mine, Diesel Kleen goes in every fuel purchase, I used it in my trucks when I had my trucking business and use it in our diesel pickups and my diesel tractors. When we purchased our coach 2 years ago it ran a bit rough, after a few thousand miles with Diesel Kleen it ran smoothly again. If you’re looking at exhaust pipes on newer diesel powered vehicles and there’s no soot on the inside of the exhaust pipe it might be that they have after treatment systems, DPF or DEF systems. The new diesel powered ones are spotless!
  5. I was thinking along the same lines as cowpoke, I’d be looking at radar stack mounts, that shroud should not be that close to the fan. In thinking about this I would also check the transmission mounts, if the transmission should tip down towards the rear of the trany it would force the front of the engine up which could cause the same problem.
  6. Sounds like what you are experiencing is the transmission down shifting around 42/43 MPH and that would account for what seems to be more engine breaking. Imo.
  7. Let us know your results as far as engine temps after the work is done!
  8. I went to Alaska in ‘76 with my parents, we are planning on going in ‘25. The one thing I do know is , if you can adjust your time frame it might be better to go later in the year, May and June might be a bit early from what I understand, we went for the month of August in ‘76. Expect a fair amount of rainy weather and I believe the earlier you go the more rain there is. fwiw we’re planning on July thru September.
  9. A quick search on Google and this appeared, https://www.roadmasterinc.com/products/spare_tire/index.php If you have a toad that’s an option too.
  10. On my 05 it’s on the passenger side in the lower compartment second door forward of the drive axle, in other words it’s in the same compartment as the fresh water pump, on the bulkhead wall on the left side. Again that’s a 05 Dynasty Platinum IV.
  11. I’ve seen some pictures of coaches that used the pickup bed liner that was color matched and from a distance it’s very accessible but up close you can see the texture of a pickup box liner. I would certainly like the protection it provided. Up close looks, maybe not so much!
  12. Something is not right there, you should not have that much restriction in 10’000 miles, I’d check the restriction gauge, when trucking for myself for over 20 years I would not have to change air filters at a million miles, according to the restriction gauge, but I did, fyi.
  13. Go to “Coach Electrical Info” on the screen, turn everything off, look at your amperage draw, turn on the electrical side of your Aqua Hot and look at your electrical draw. That’s how I tested mine last winter when it quit. Do you have one of these? https://library.aquahot.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/AHE-100-04S_AHE-120-04X_AHE-130-04X_Shop_Manual_REV_C_05-2014.pdf
  14. You should be able to check the amp draw on your Alladin to check the electric element I believe. If the electric element doesn’t work it should still fire on diesel and run as normal, have you tested the main controller?
  15. I use 15W-40 T4 in my coach, I use 5W-40 T6 in my diesel powered personal vehicles that sit outside in Minnesota winters and need to start! Just my opinion. I used T4 in my Peterbilt’s for over 2 million miles. I agree with Robert U ‘s opinion on the Synthetic oil use!
  16. Sorry, mine is up under the dash in front of the drivers seat.
  17. Page 423 in your owner’s manual should be of some help. Here’s a link to a owner’s manual, https://www.monacocoach.com/resources/media/manuals/2005_Dynasty.pdf
  18. The rear cap on that one looked like it had been buffed, just curious what happened there! Buffing black is tough to get it correctly done! Nice inspection, looks like the previous owners left in a hurry!
  19. Hey Gary, Yes the coolant I used has a blueish tint to it. Yes on not using a treated coolant filter, a blank filter would be fine, you should test your coolant every 6 -12 months with appropriate test strips from fleetguard to confirm that it is still good.
  20. When was the last time you had the air dryer serviced?
  21. That’s true, the economy was starting to get wonky in 07-08!
  22. That’s interesting, why wouldn’t the put an engine brake on that caliber of motor coach?
