  1. Would a Magnum Battery Monitor Kit (if installed) give a more accurate reading of the House battery bank at the remote?
  2. When opening the bay door to where all of my tanks are located and where the Aqua-Hot has been installed too, I have often wondered why there was this extra Blue Pex line plumbed into the Back Flush Pex line that comes from the Vacuum/Back-Flow valve located under the kitchen counter. Now I know why!
  3. In preparation of driving over to Talin RV to have Guardian Plates installed on my two roadside slides, I had started up the Aqua-Hot yesterday and turned on my Samsung fridge this morning. I went to test the hot water so I turned on the water pump but had very little pressure at the kitchen sink PLUS I could hear the pump running flat out fast. I quickly turned off the pump and went outside to investigate. As it turns out, I had inadvertently left the Black Tank Backflush valve in the on position when I had dumped the tanks a few weeks back. So that's why the pump was running flat out on high speed. I had no idea that you could flush the Black Tank with just the water pump when not hooked to shore water. My Windsor was not plumbed like that. A future project on my to-do list is to install a Back Flush Kit to my Grey Tank which is adjacent to my Black Tank with a three-way valve so I can choose which tank I want to back flush anytime I want. I installed exactly the same thing in my Windsor after I had to deal with a clogged grey tank dump valve that was choked up with a bunch of black slimy greasy crap that had accumulated on the sides of the tank over many years of use. Photo is from my previous Windsor.
  4. In my Windsor both the Intellitec Water Pump Controller relay and the 87-type relay were both mounted next to each other along with the water pump in the same bay on the passenger side that had the Aqua-Hot and the Man-O-Bloc water distribution system mounted too. The Aqua-Hot was mounted mid-ship which was always a PITA to work on! Luckily, the Dynasty we now own has the Aqua-Hot out near the bay door where it always should be to make it easier to work on.
  5. In my Windsor the Intellitec Water Pump Controller had another 87 Type relay AFTER the Water Pump Controller relay which had larger gauge wires that went to the pump. The WPC had smaller gauge wires attached to it. Possibly there is a problem at that relay. Or wherever your ground for the system comes from. I haven't owned the Dynasty that long to understand where everything is, etc. In fact, I just discovered something new this morning in regard to my water system and Black Tank flush system.
  6. To clarify Jeff's post, there are two different models of the new Pressure Pro Pulse TPMS. One is called PP Pulse which has its own monitor and the second is called PP Pulse FX which requires you to use a smart phone to interface with the PP Pulse FX TPMS. Both are excellent TPMS's, it just depends on whether you want to have a small standalone monitor or use a smart phone for your monitor.
  7. When I have a fuse that I am looking for, I use a DVOM in continuity mode with sound then I methodically test the top of every fuse looking for one that does not have any sound.
  8. It is my understanding that the seats up front do NOT have fuses, they are protected with auto-resetting circuit breakers. Not sure if that is a "blanket" statement or not.
  9. @Tom Cherry Thanks for the tip on how to post better. Never knew how that worked. I appreciate learning new stuff about this site. My antenna did not come from Pressure Pro with any mounting bracket. I will have to look around at Lowes or Home Depot for something that will work as a bracket. I plan to use all of the cable. Whether it makes it to the front of the rear axle or not, it will get mounted where I run out of cable. I will find out once I get under there and start routing the cable.
  10. When I had the Windsor, I changed out the A/C dryer from the bedroom using the small engine/transmission hatch located on the step in front of the closet. I also removed the screws that hold the plate in place that has a bunch of relays mounted to it. The dyer is directly under that plate.
  11. When we had the Windsor and our Golden Retriever, Cody, I always used a snack chip clothes-pin type clip to place under the Park Brake. I did that after we came back to the coach after having lunch one afternoon and found the generator slide part way out and Cody laying in the driver's seat.
  12. Tom, I am currently installing the 35-foot antenna extension under the coach. I plan to install it wherever the length will take it snaking it under the bottom of the coach. May I ask what type of bracket did you use when installing yours as no bracket came in the package? My antenna needs to be pointing downward as recommended by the techs at Pressure Pro when I talked with them. Many thanks for your advice! Also, why did you choose to install your antenna onto the front of the fuel bay? You must have had lots of extra cable leftover. Does it pickup ALL of your sensors including the toad reliably?
  13. I have driven that road from El Paso to Carlsbad with my Windsor towing a 30-foot cargo trailer. However, we did not stop at Guadalupe Mountains NP as did the owners of the Dutch Star. I would imagine that those canyons can funnel winds down through them in such a way that winds that are 30-40 mph can turn into 80-100 mph. Glad to hear that they were made whole after such a unfortunate situation.
  14. There is no fan on this condenser. It just sits in its location. However, it is somewhat close to the hydraulic fan that cools the side condenser stack. I will attempt to take a photo and post it later. That's good to know. Obviously, the "engineers" writing the manuals lacked a few cards in their deck.
  15. Can't help you with that as every coach is different. In my Windsor it is located in the Passenger side RRB as those slides are electric. My Dynasty has hydraulic slides so that control board is on the front firewall.
  16. Lots of "humorous" videos on YouTube of people attempting to either launch or retrieve watercraft at boat ramps. When owning my boat, I was never in any questionable situation as at that time I owned a 4WD Jeep and ALWAYS had it locked in. Never owned a boat while owning my RV's and would NEVER think about using my RV on a boat ramp. Some people even have trouble keeping their RV on their site!
  17. I would check your slide out control board to see if it has any corrosion which may be causing your situation.
  18. I purchased size 31 starting batteries at Sam's Club for my Dynasty the day after taking ownership. 950 cranking amps each totalling 1900 cranking amps. Spins my ISL-400 easily.
  19. The only times I will lean my coach when fueling up is when the fuel happens to be really inexpensive versus other locations.
  20. My transmission cooling hoses are very long. They travel from the rear of the transmission to the stand-alone transmission cooling condenser located above the frame just to the left of the engine near the front as you are looking into the engine compartment. My guess is that they are about 7-8 foot or so each.
  21. I recently had my coach serviced at B&B Mechanical Services in Daytona Beach., FL. I had been recommended to this shop by a customer while working at Sam's Club in Daytona Beach. I first went to talk with them and then setup an appointment to drop off the coach for engine, chassis and transmission service. They are not cheap plus they are a "drop off" service shop because they are always very busy with their Fleet Service of diesel buses and need to schedule 1-2 weeks out. The hourly shop charge is $150. I don't mind paying for excellent quality service when it comes to my coach//home. My coach now has 103K on the ODO plus I had very little service history when I purchased it last year in February. I had them do an oil/filter change, fuel filter change, complete chassis lube and since I needed two new transmission cooling hydraulic hoses I had them do a complete transmission service at the same time. That included dropping the pan, changing the filters, all new TranSyd fluid plus the new hoses. The cost for the transmission service was $679 The cost for the new hoses was $497 plus two hours to install. The cost for the engine and chassis service was $507. I supplied the oil filter and two fuel filters as they use Baldwin filters which I prefer NOT to use. They also topped off the differential fluid with 3 quarts of 75/140 Synthetic Gear Oil and charged me for 28 quarts of Shell engine oil. I thought the ISL-400 took only 26 quarts based on the manual specs but I guess the spec sheet was wrong. Overall, I am very pleased with their service and professionalism even though like I stated earlier, they are not cheap. 22. Looks like you need to do a HARD reset of your Inverter Remote first before jumping to conclusions.
  23. If your tanks are still in good shape it can be recored very easily by a reputable shop. The CAC on my Windsor was done at CG&J when the replaced the radiator.
  24. Not all "tire balancing beads" are made the same. I have used RV Tire Balancing Dyna Beads purchased from Innovative Balancing in Las Vegas. Thats' the ONLY place I would trust in getting the correct product for your tires. I had no issues at all with those beads. I have since converted to Balance Masters as they can be mounted and then transferred to other coaches if needed. Whereas the beads are harder to collect and transfer. Therefore when changing tires with beads you have to use new bags for the tires. Here is the web site for Innovative Balancing. DynaBeads Tire Balancing Beads (innovativebalancing.com) I used the RV-EZO121 packages for the 295/80R/22.5 tires or M144 Toyo's.
  25. Here is a photo of the air vacumn pump you are looking for. It's the black rectangle box on the right of the vacuum reservoir.
