  1. I would also be interested if anyone finds a way to accomplish this task. After having an ISC-350 for 18+ years in my previous Windsor with both filters starring you in the face, I had to look all over for the secondary filter on my 06 Dynasty ISL-400. Frank McElroy had to give me it's location which I still have not put my eyes on it as yet. Every time I need to crawl under the coach my body says, "why are you trying to do that"? What a royal PITA!
  2. Those are called In-Vue camera system by Ramco.
  3. Can't help you with installing the reel as I have never been fond of using electric reels versus using the Glendinning Cablemaster Accumulator for the 50-amp electric cord. However, I do have some suggestions though when using the reel. Always unwind most if not all of the cord even though you may not need it all to reach the shore power outlet. Plus, try not to use the same stopping point on the reel when unwinding the cord otherwise you may end up with problems with the rotating surface contacts on the slip rings. Many members here have had to repair or rebuild their reels due to poor electric conductivity through the slip rings. (edited to delete triple posting of the above)
  4. Myron, I have tried the dipole antenna in many locations without success inside the coach. If the dipole needs to be run on the outside of the coach, then I am back to my original question and might as well install the 35-foot extension that I have purchased. I don't like to hang stuff out a window while traveling. When sitting in one location I have done that in the past on my Airstream motorhome but not on my Windsor or Dynasty. That little antenna worked just fine with my Tire Safeguard TPMS, that's why I gave it a try with the Pressure Pro TPMS. BTW, all of the PP TPMS sensors have permanent internal nonreplaceable batteries. I forgot to include that info in my last post.
  5. Myron, The PP was purchased new earlier this year prior to flying to Salt Lake City to pick up our Dynasty. I will NOT drive any vehicle that I own unless it has a working TMPS. I used the right front tire on my previous Windsor to program each of the sensors based on the PP instructions in the manual BEFORE leaving for SLC. I had previously labeled each sensor as to their specific location. Once in SLC, I installed the PP TPMS and off we went on our 2700-mile trip back to Florida. Within the first 100 miles or so I had one sensor on the tag that occasionally dropped the signal. Called the company the next day and he said that chances are I needed to have the antenna extension. I tried swapping the right front with the tag to check whether it was a bad sensor or not with no joy. On the 10-day trip there were a variety of different sensors where I would occasionally lose the signal then it would come back. Our next trip was to New Hampshire in May and then back to Florida in October towing our car. Again, there were various sensors that would drop the signal then return sometime later. I called the company again after I returned to Florida asking about their repeater that was in development based on a member's previous post regarding the repeater. They stated that it has NOT been approved and still has some unreliability issues. They stated at the time that the 35-foot antenna extension would be better than any repeater if mounted correctly under the coach with the end antenna hanging down such that each sensor would have a direct line of sight with the antenna including the towed car. So, I ordered the antenna and now ready to install it as I hate driving with temporarily dropped signals. Had that happen WAY too many times when I had my very first TPMS called Doran. On my very last trip with the Doran TPMS, I had 5 of the 10 sensors not reporting. That's when I removed the POS from my Windsor and sold it on eBay then purchased the Tire SafeGuard TPMS. That system was very reliable for the10 years I had owned it and left it on the Windsor when I sold it last April. I tried to purchase the Tire SafeGuard TPMS for the Dynasty but was told that the TPMS was now obsolete and no longer available. WRT the antennas that I have tried, the first one shown in the photo was from the Tire SafeGuard TPMS. I also tried a longer 18-inch antenna that I had laying around and finally I installed the 8-foot Di-pole antenna that came with the PP TPMS. None of them gave me a trouble-free experience. Here is the link to the Pressure Pro Pulse TPMS with photos. Pulse TPMS Monitor - Tire Pressure Monitor Here is the link to the 8-foot Di-pole antenna that came with the package. Pulse Dipole Antenna - Tire Pressure Monitor Here is the link to the 35-foot PP antenna extension. Cabled Antenna (SMA) Kit - Tire Pressure Monitor Here is the link to the accessories page. Accessories Archives - Tire Pressure Monitor Hopefully I have answered all of your questions.
  6. Myron, Here is the manual plus two photos of my PP Pulse Control Monitor. It came with a 10-foot Di-Pole Antenna which is basically as useless as the small antenna I tried that is in the photos. I also tried an 18-inch antenna I had laying around that I had used on one of my old Internet devices. No Joy. I have an old repeater from the discontinued Tire SafeGuard TPMS and a PP repeater that I had purchased thinking that I could purchase the PP Legacy TPMS which I could not. Neither of those work with the PP Pulse TPMS. Hence, installing the 35-foot PP antenna extension was my only option according to the Pressure Pro Tech person I spoke with about the problem. He stated that once the antenna is mounted under the coach facing down, the antenna with have a direct line of sight with all sensors including the tow vehicle sensors. I do tow a 2006 Saturn Vue when traveling. However, even on my trip from Salt Lake City to Florida when we brought the coach home after purchasing it, I was losing signals constantly on that 2700-mile trip without towing anything. Currently, not a happy camper with the Pressure Pro TPMS until I can get signal reliability. Never had this problem before while using the Tire SafeGuard TPMS for the past 10 years with my Windsor towing a 30-foot trailer or my car. PULSE-Users-Manual-01.09.18.pdf
  7. Ron, thanks for posting however you have the old discontinued Legacy model of PP. I purchased the PP Pulse model that comes with a new style display. They don't offer a dependable repeater as yet plus they stated that the antenna extension is the best method for eliminating drop signals.
  8. Myron, I will get underneath this weekend to take a closer look at any possible openings near the steering column where I could run this cable up into the driver's area. Thanks for the suggestions and warnings. Tom, I will also check the firewall near the driver's area to see if there might be and access there for the cable to go through. Jim, unfortunately my current Dynasty is much different than my previous Windsor WRT to the way it was put together. The Windsor had plenty of easy access in the areas around the cockpit.
  9. Yes, they said that others have found the easiest access was the steering column. My Windsor did not have this heavy rubber boot so there was some daylight in that area but not so with the Dynasty. I don't have the Legacy PP system that you have. They discontinued that model some time ago.
  10. I purchased the 35-foot Pressure Pro antenna extension to eliminate losing signals on my 12 sensors while traveling. I would like to run the cable down through the base of the steering wheel area, but it appears to have a thick rubber boot that seals that area from the outside. What have others done who have installed the same antenna extension to their Pressure Pro Pulse TPMS?
  11. The hydraulic filters that I had purchased for my previous Windsor were Nelson 84101B. Three stacked on top of each other.
  12. In our previous 02 Windsor, I took out the recessed Atwood 3-burner cooktop and installed a far better Seward Princess Gormet 2-burner cooktop. Had to have the recessed opening routed out a little larger for it to fit into the recessed opening. I made this decision after seeing Fred Whites (RIP) cooktop in his Windsor. My wife liked the upgrade very much. Our now 06 Dynasty came with a Tru-Induction cooktop which is just OK. She is getting used to it but really prefers the LPG stove over the Induction. Luckily, we had cookware that was induction approved.
  13. Dick R, You have come to the very BEST place on the Internet for HELP and information. Just remember that there is no STUPID question so when in doubt just ask. Once you get used to the forum and how it operates you can use the search function to read about many problems and solutions that have been covered previously. I would also strongly suggest downloading the Monacoers Parts List to your local device so it will be handy when you don't have a good Internet connection. You won't find any snarky remarks here like you will in other forums and if there are they are dealt with quickly. We are here to learn and help our members so we can enjoy our Monaco coaches for many years to come. There is also a yearly Gathering held at Lazy Days every February which is a "must do" especially for newbies. The 2023 one will be February 14th through the 19th. You can read about it here.
  14. 15 minutes after changing fuel filters pretty much rules out air in the filters unless one is not sealed completely however, you stated there were no leaks. Lift pump only runs and is useful for starting the engine only. Once the engine starts the engine fuel injection pump takes over be it a CAPS or the Common Rail system depending on what your engine has. it appears that more troubleshooting is needed to isolate the problem.
  15. Don, How long did the engine run AFTER you changed out the fuel filters?
  16. If the handle and rod are completely detached from the blade of the dump valve, then your only alternative is to find a Septic Service that will come out and attempt to pump out the black tank through the opening in the toilet. Or, you would have to build some sort of container with a spout for under the waste pipes that would funnel the waste out of the bay into another container on the ground where the septic service could suck up the waste into their truck. Once you have all of that in position then disassemble the valves and let the waste flow.
  17. It is always a good PM task to check the tightness of the connection at least once a year. However, with printed circuit boards, you just never know when and where one will blow smoke and fail. It happened to me with the slide-out control board in the RRB with my Windsor one year while being parked in the same spot for years and not even having used the slide for years. You just never know and hope & pray that you are there when/if it happens to mitigate the situation versus losing the coach to a possible fire.
  18. We "moochdock" every time we stay at my brother's farm in Dansville NY in the Finger Lakes region. Luckily, he has a separate meter on his barn where we park the coach across the road from his house, so I know exactly how much electricity we are using while staying there for the few months during the summer. He gets one bill for the house and one for the barn. $500 is WAY out of line, The most we would pay for one month would be about $125.
  19. As Jim stated, make and model is needed plus the instructions should be in your owner's manual if you have one. Otherwise, a search on the Internet will also supply the correct procedure depending on the make and model.
  20. Whenever I saw a Signature while traveling, it always looked to me that it had very low ground clearance versus my Windsor and my Dynasty. The custom Monaco Mud Flap always looked like it was dragging the pavement. Josam's is the very BEST place for any chassis work on our coaches. Luckily, they are only a one-hour drive from me. I still have to make an appointment to get some work done on my Dynasty before leaving in May/June of this year heading back to New Hampshire for the summer.
  21. Mine drops to 4th if my speed allows it to and then searches for 2nd once the speed allows the Allison to go into 2nd gear. That's what is displayed on my SilverLeaf VMSpc screen. I prefer that versus having to do it manually.
  22. Ben, Glad to hear that the Irontite worked in your Aqua-Hot. I swear by that stuff as it plugged a hole in the bottom of my 02 Windsor radiator enough for me to drive about 5000 additional miles without losing another drop. I also used it to stop the new radiator from seeping at the top after it had been installed for 3 years. I've been doing some RnR on my 06 Dynasty Aqua-Hot this winter. My first observation was that the surge tank was not moving. I drained the boiler fluid in the surge tank, then checked the actual level at the tank, it was low. I topped off the boiler tank and installed the cap. Started the Aqua-Hot up and the fluid soon started dripping out of the cap. Purchased a new cap and tried it again. Once the fluid started to heat up, I then noticed a tiny stream coming from the back of the filler neck. Quickly turned off the Aqua-Hot and thought about what to do next. I have now purchased a small package of JB Water Weld. When I have time, I will clean up the entire back area of the filler neck, then apply a generous amount of this Water Weld to the filler neck. Let it set for a day, then try the Aqua-Hot one more time. If I still have a leak at the filler neck, my next step will be the Irontite. Obviously, the previous owner never did anything to repair the obvious hole nor did my useless "certified" inspector know enough about Aqua-Hots to recognize that there was a problem. We used the Aqua-Hot all last summer but with the level being somewhat low in the boiler tank due to the hole in the filler neck it never got low enough for the Low-Level alarm to trip. It was only down about 2 quarts. Plus, I did observe that the Surge tank was not changing in level during that time, but I attributed it to possibly a cracked hose, not an actual hole.
  23. Brett, so sorry to hear about the total loss of your coach. I truly hope that you are compensated well and are able to find an equivalent coach of your liking. When I started to look for an upgrade from the 02 Windsor, I specifically stayed away from any coach that had the chassis multiplex systems. I chose a 06 Dynasty that has a house multiplex system which still needs to be backed up with the help from either Paul W or Frank M. Over the years, I had read and heard about way too many coaches that had problems with the chassis multiplex system and knew right then that I didn't want to deal with the same headaches. There are way too many other things that can and do go wrong with our coaches to have to deal with major electrical issues. Good luck in your search. Safe travels!

  25. If you don't have one already, then I would highly suggest that you install a Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C prior to your transfer switch with a display that will tell you specifically the quality of your incoming power. The Intellitec EMS is only useful when you have the generator running or are on good shore power less than 50 amps. The control board is doing the work, the display is only there to inform you of what the control board is doing.
